Thanks! If you do, beware of using regular lumber (2x10s) as it will shift and change and whatnot before finally settling. Furniture-grade lumber is probably smarter.
Question. I also run my large groups of D&D campaigns out of my garage and was curious how you handle with summer heat. Didn't know if you just kept the garage door open or had maybe an AC split system to cool the area during play. Thanks again for any information 🤙🏻
That's a tough one for us too. We leave the main door and the man doors open for a nice cross breeze. We also use fans but have to be careful to place them where they won't send our character sheets flying. I wonder if a ceiling fan would be better? The house has AC but we've never tried tying it. Good luck, summer's coming!
@@atlundia Yeah I was thinking of having a mini portable AC to have out there or even insulating my garage door so more of the heat can stay out. But we will see how that goes lol
Thank you! The fireplace is made out of fake stone that I bought. There's a lot of different ones you can buy, I used ones called "quality stone". I think they're mostly intended for outdoor use.
This is a great room, but if I knew I was going to be wanting to do something like this, I would have purchased a house with the room required and not converted my garage into it.
This room is amazing. It's good to see how much other groups create a wonderful place to game together with their friends.
Amazing. ❤
Thanks! It's been in our group for a long time, still seeing regular use.
This is one of my favorite tables I've seen. Great room. Great table, loving the gridded white board. So sick of seeing only TV's put in the middle.
Thanks! Yeah, I really think a TV is an exciting idea but not as good in practice, nor is it likely to be 4x8' feet of space.
Overall, the whole place just works. Great job.
Thanks for the kind words. It was a lot of work, but took a lot of deliberation to even know what to build. I wanted it to be as efficient as I could.
Watching this makes me so happy, thank you for sharing and for aspiring me to have one some day ❤
Thanks for the kind words! Make it happen. :)
What a dream room. ❤ I love your crazy book case shelf you made. I'm inspired to make one of my own. 👍

Gridded white board! Genius!
Thanks! It's been the absolute best, we'll probably do it this way forever. It's held up well for 10 years, but we might be due for a shiny new one.
That is an amazing and inspiring space - thank you for sharing it with us!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Truly Epic. May your games be long and prosper!
Thank you! Yours as well.
Love the passion and commitment!
Thanks, a lot of years have gone into it! We love our D&D. :)
the combat music gives me chills
Holy crap this is all what I want xD great table by the way I'll get your idea!
Thanks! It was a lot of work but it's been great for our group over the years. Take whatever ideas you like, I'm honoured. :)
Damn, Josh takes a lot of space!
The perks of being a DM.
Whoa.
Great room! My only concern is about dices: I know people that could share wife and dog but not the dices😜
Oh the special dice are all hidden around the room.
the cars sleeping outside in the intro is priceless :D
Time to wake up, cars! D&D time!
Thank you, currently working on mine too - even though my regular decade long group disbanded at covid :(
Must be time to seek out some fresh new D&D enthusiasts! If you build it, they will come. ;) Good luck!

Thats a neat clock too.
Did you make or buy the Styrofoam rocks on the "chimney"?

Very cool and impressive!
Thanks!
Holy -----
Thanks. :)
What do you use to put the numbers on your mini's for tracking them? Thank you.
Hey there! I would just carefully paint the numbers on the base. :)
What did you use for hanging your maps?
Those are acrylic page holders but I've been thinking lately I should have just laminated the maps. The acrylic holders are heavy and a bit overkill.
That's pretty cool and epic man!
Thanks mate, put a lot of work in over the years.
no nerf hoops? pft.
Damnit! I knew I was missing something!

I'll remember that for next time. ;)
