- We go for a quick formation flight in our Lancair and we show several airplanes doing takeoffs and landings, A C47, P51, SubSonex JSX-2, SX300 and more. Featuring planes of Spruce Creek.
Just bought a Onewheel the other day. Love it! Awesome GA travel accessory. Just hope it stops trying to kill me soon!
Yes I have some learning scars on my knees from a couple of spills that I took on the OneWheel. Turns out it isn't good to see what the top speed is...
Fantastic Flight
That was awesome! Thanks for sharing 👍🏼
Appreciate that - I didn't know if anyone would want to see airplanes taking off and landing.
@@gaFlights Heck Yeah! Also, in the future, if you’re ever interested in letting go of your 360, I know of a good home 😉
Great video of all the planes taking off and landing. Has anyone noticed all the Chem trails of the Gov making clouds and haziness it leaves in the sky or is it just me. The video shows it clearly the Hazy film fog looking cover ??? Ive been flying for over 23 years now and the skies used to be Clear beautiful Blue, and its hard to see them anymore.
Thanks for watching and comments on the sky. I agree over the years the blueness has tarnished a bit
Nicest 360 I’ve ever seen
Thanks I spent 8 years building it. It is really a great flying airplane.
I can only hope to be a big baller like him when I get older! This guy is living the dream .
believe me I'm thankful for every day.... Wait until you see our next clip later this week... "Miami South Beach" ...smoking .... : )
The sexy yet graceful lines on that fuselage is a sight to behold..
Are you talking the plane or the blond bomber 😉
@@charynmann7940 there were planes in this video?
I really liked the video!!!!
Thanks for the feedback. I checked your videos and you have some great airplane takeoffs and landings. Well done.
Sigh!!! ONE day I’ll have my plane built and flying. Thanks for your videos.
I hear you. It took me 8 years to build my Lancair.

Wow! That's a true testament to dedication. My biggest hurdle is/was not knowing Stoddard Hamilton sold when I bought mine... Thank goodness for the Glasair forum... Those guys have kept me going.
That Lancair is moving! When I go fly my movement over the ground is quite a different site.
Yes prior to flying Lancair's I had flown Bonanza V35, Cirrus SR22s and Diamond DA40s. The approach speeds was the think that took me the longest to get used to. Planning ahead is paramount so that you don't just fly right past the airport.
Those flying eggs are scary fast
Yes and there are a lot of them out there.
thanks for sharing, and for doing those take offs with letting us know which plane was next, must have taken a while to edit, great stuff man... Did you go with the upgraded Lancair, or the company that upgrade them to LX7 RDD enterprises? I heard some rumors that Lancairs have had some issues and went out of business but from what little research I have done it seems like a far superior plane than the SR22T
Paul - thanks for the feedback on the video. I have a standard Lancair IV-P. (You know your airplanes) The LX7 from RDD, as you know, starts with a base IV-P and then they put new wings and a new horizontal stabilizer as well as other things into the plane. They are very expensive and at this price point you could have a Evolution which in my opinion is a much more capable airplane and has a more robust retractable landing gear system, pressurized baggage area amongst other things. This is just thought and others have varying opinions. Most of my videos don't get many views so it is nice to hear some positive. : )
That approach for landing looks fast. Can someone tell me the final app speed for Lancair 320?
In the pattern I keeps the speed to at least 120kts indicated airspeed. On final I use 90kts indicated. Over the numbers at 80kts and touchdown 70kts or less. Some people use slower approach speeds but I like the response of the controls at 90kts.
Curious as to the passengers headset? Brand? Thanks
I purchased the headset from www.quiettechnologies.com She says it works pretty good but it isn't nearly as quiet as an over the ear headset.
It would totally suck to live at Spruce Creek….
Any houses for sale there? Ha
Hi there,
I'm a journalist at The Telegraph in London writing an article on high-end fly in communities/air parks. I'd love to chat to you or someone who lives in one of these communities or is an expert on it. Is this something you could help with?
Thanks,
Would love to help! Please send us your email or other contact information and we can connect with you. We have lived in this airpark community for 8 years.
