- For this waterproofing job, our very own Anthony Parolin of RCC Waterproofing will go step by step through the exterior waterproofing process and let you know what waterproofing materials we use, how our waterproofing crew members will perform the task, and give you a complete visual of the basement leak repair up close and personal. Most waterproofing companies will not go through the effort of showing you how the external waterproofing process is done but RCC Waterproofing believes in passing its waterproofing knowledge on to our customers and making sure they know everything our waterproofing team is going to do to your home
For more info on the exterior waterproofing process, please visit our dedicated page that will have more pictures and projects:

After all that great work you put them nail holes in the foundation
That black plastic dimple pipe collapses very easy. Should use Schedule 40.
Thanks for sharing each step from restoration to waterproofing. Do all waterproofing companies restore walls and waterproof like you? Thx!
Good work 👍👍
How long did this process take
How much does this cost?
Thats all I kept thinking, because this guy does it right, and I need mine done asap!
That looks like exactly what needs to be done to our foundation. What's a reasonable ballpark cost range for the size and type of job shown in the video? We're in Indiana, obviously with different contractors and a different economy but I'm looking for a general idea. Thanks in advance for your input. It looks like your crew did a great job!
yeah so more like.. "what does this cost where you live sir, and how much is the minimum wage, and property taxes?" to be able to get an idea so we can convert it to our area's cost of living.
Only on the one side of the foundation?
Whatever side is leaking. Pray you dont have to do all sides! Usually its only one side because "water always finds a way" and once it finds a way.. it only needs that one way which itll expand from one tiny crack/stream into one canyon/river and doesnt need to find a second way. It'll just reroute to the first way since it offers the least resistance of flow.
They probably did this as an example or the didn't film it all
Is waterproofing the outside and then adding a sump pump in the inside overkill?
It depends on how high the water tables in your area are. For some places like towns built near big bodies of water, a sump pump is necessary to prevent water levels from rising too high and flooding your basement from the inside. So in certain places, yeah it could be overkill or more of a precaution but other places, it might be a necessary part of the system.
You should checkout high octane weeping tile by French Drain Man. Blows that black pipe away with better stench then and more opening per linear foot for starters.
Why not use stone from footer to top of wall to finish grade?
Are you saying to just fill the whole trench with stone up to the surface? Homeowner probably wants to grow grass there.
@@ChristopherJones16 just cover the top 4 inches with topsoil
Achilles heel in this … corrugated pipe. Probably crushed under the weight of backfill!
