I got the non hemi clear valve cover and also the clear blower housing and they were both very sensitive to any pressure around the bolt holes. I remember the day i was putting them on for the first time as i was tightening down the bolts i saw the clear plastic turning into spider web looking cracks with each twist of the wrench. But mine never melted luckily. I think they just need to make those things more heavy duty.
I had the same problem but i was trying to be stealthy and run a stock exhaust.im thinking porting and polishing could help it. I have the go powersports spacer on my stage 3 and it works nice
You just saved me money
