To be fair to Coco vs Winton, Winton has a lot of goblin energy to him. He is a mood, good for him but not everyone can handle that and I can't blame them.
My guess is she perhaps has a tricky time relinquishing control, due to her being one of the youngest (if not the youngest) member of her family, her siblings are always the ones in control and don't want to be bossed around by Coco. Maybe she feels a bit lonely and knows no other way of playing.

Which I like cuz now she has someone to relate too just like I do with Bingo. She's not a bully at all, just has preferences and ideas that sometimes don't match the other's. I think Coco has helped her to really develop too......As a person, seeing the possible flaws in her personality and turning them good. Coco was one of her main influences to that tbh......

Yeah it has never come across my mind she was a bully, just had a picture in her mind how things are suppose to go and wanted to play it out is all. I'm kinda like that myself, but as an adult I know when to yield to others or take myself out of the picture if things stray to far from my own goals.
Coco never struck me as a bully so much as a tad bossy and domineering. She's never purposefully hurtful and she *will* defer to the other kids at times. She doesn't really try and *build* power dynamics over people or anything though.
I don't think she's a bully, but some of her exhibited behaviors (such as being controlling of others) may turn into bullying later in life if they're not curbed and corrected as she gets older. It's like how Muffin could become a lot worse than she already is if Stripe and Trixie don't parent her well. Bluey is a show about parents and their kids, so the kids having flaws is a reflection of their parents in a way and can lead to teaching moments for IRL families on finding these negative behaviors and showing ways they can be corrected in constructive and positive ways.
I used to think that Coco wasn't really a bully per se, but could sometimes be a bit brat-ish. It's not her fault, I just think it was just her character tbh

I never thought she was a bully, I never knew others did either; Coco reminds me of my little siblings, and is a really accurate representation of young children’s minds. She really is just misunderstood.
I think it's okay that Coco has her own way of doing things and is opinionated, not everyone will or should blend seamlessly into their social group. It'd bother me more if nobody had conflicting opinions. Muffin is a 3 year old who is learning how to express her own agency, so I don't think she's bad and needs to learn how to manage her temper. Anger comes from a place of feeling slighted, and feelings are never wrong but learning how to communicate them is better than throwing a tantrum. Judo purposely leaves people out of the group and has issues with jealousy, she could become a "mean girl" in the future. Judo should try being mostly inclusive towards other kids and hopefully her self esteem won't become battered with age.
I just realized that that horse in the episode where Winston hugged indi is the only horse animal we saw that talked, and none of the horses from when bluey lost her tooth and wanted to ride the horses with her dollar
That was fake though, right? The horse didn't actually talk. Only dogs that walk like humans are like the humans in this world who can talk in the Bluey world I'm pretty sure.
I may be biased but I love coco judo and muffin, they remind me of myself when I was little. Stubborn, controlling, loud, emotional and a little bossy sometimes. All traits I grew out of but at the time I didn’t know I was bean ‘mean’ to others I was just having fun and having fun with others When I was little I used to boss my friends and family around wanting them to play exactly how I told them to. Not with anything malicious, I just had a vision that I wanted to execute. My parents talked to me about how it’s not nice and I grew out of it like most kids do. These are just some of the growing pains of childhood
Shes not a bully, shes just child. Some children, especially inly children or younger children from very large families (like Coco) can development minor control issues. Only children because they're often more used to getting their way and aren't used to interaction with others. For the younger children in large families its the opposite, they're so used to everything being out of their control that when in an environment where they can make things go their way, they over correct. She just needs to be taught that she can't have everything be her way, she was to consider her friends feelings too. People really need to stop being so black and white, all or nothing about everything. Especially in a show about talking dogs trying to teach kids social nuance and healthy expression on how to deal with the struggles of childhood...
I should add that the opposite end of the only children spectrum is actually feeling the controlling factor from parents. I’m outnumbered and my opinions don’t matter as much as theirs growing up (maybe it’s also a cultural thing). So in my case, growing up as an only child, I resonated with how Coco wants to control the situation with her friends because she has no control of her situation at home - just like i have no control over my situation at home because my parents always make the final ultimate decisions
Maybe while being controlling in games is the only place where she can have control. I bet her older siblings are constantly getting to pick first and chose where to do things.
Someone pointed out she has a lot of siblings, so I also think that’s why she acts the way she does. Maybe she feels like she doesn’t get enough attention from her parents because of all her other siblings. That’s probably why she was so dismissive against Wilton and others in wild girls because she wanted all of Indies attention on her.
Not to mention she's the youngest so she probably doesn't have much say in what happens at her house so she compensates by wanting to be in control while playing
I always thought of Coco in Shadowlands kind of like me when I was little. My older siblings are 10 and 8 years older than me. In order to include me, my parents made them modify what they played so that I could keep up. I always figured, Bella and Coco's dad asked their older kids to try to make it easier to include Coco (and their other littles), which is why she just assumed her friends could change the rules. I have never really thought of Coco as a bully. Just misunderstood. As someone from a big family, she doesn't have a whole lot of things or people that are "just hers" and she doesn't have to share Indy with her siblings so is probably struggling to share Indy with the other kids.
Coco has 8 othe siblings, so she can get lost in the shuffle as it were, so when she has a chance to interact with the other kids, she goes a bit overboard. As for Judo, she's an only child, so she can be a bit overbearing, but she has mellowed over time. Suffice it to say, neither of them are bullies😊
I don’t think she’s a bully, or at least she isnt trying to be. When I was around her age I also acted pretty controlling with games, though with me it was because I hardly had any friends. Coco probably isn’t trying to be controlling (specifically with Mackenzie or Indy) because she doesn’t want to lose the friendship. She probably disliked when Chloe wanted to join because she felt like Chloe would take too much attention from Indy, and they would stop being friends.
Something I found really cool is that when we meet Coco in shadowland, she always change the rules of games, but then in wild girls she is actually the one who want to play properly following the rules, this show us that even the secondary characters are growing and learning 😊 I love that
I would say that there’s not enough episodes and evidence to say that she’s a bully. Sure, Wild Girls makes her look like a jerk, but I feel she’s just misunderstood from the lack of episodes she’s in.
I an the youngest in 12 siblings and I do believe that Coco is sometimes left out and she is too scared to speak up or talk to her parents. I think this is a similar situation with Muffin and Socks because as we know from FaceyTime, Muffin likes hogging and socks emotions clearly portrayed that she was upset and this happens sometimes. We also see that small cutscene in Pass The Parcel where Muffin gets books and she is really mad. And again, in Faceytime, we see that Stripe and Trixie do resort back to timeouts so I think this shows that Muffin's behaviour is reflected on her home situation where she is able to control everything with socks when her parents are away. Coco also feels like a similiar situation because in her home, she does have 8 siblings and even in the car when we see explorers, the car is JAMPACKED so i'm sitting there wondering where does Coco even sit? does she have to sit on someones lap or what?
I think it's important to realize that when Calypso didn't react to her being mean she was probably like "she is like 7, she doesn't know any better" I also like the way you brought up coco being the youngest with 9 older sibs and how she wants to be in control a lot bc I am the 3rd youngest of 15 (5 in heaven and 10 on earth ) I went through a phase of controlling my only younger sibling (on this earth) so I do think that She was misunderstood. love your channel you just got another subscriber
Personally in my own opinion I related her to like how I was being an undiagnosed autistic child as I did the same thing with controlling games and my friends which to everyone else made me a huge bully- but to me I was just trying to do what made me comfortable! It wasn’t right but I didn’t understand that at the time and games changing and playing with people who I didn’t want to play with made me blunt, rude, and controlling as I didn’t understand the other kids didn’t feel the same as me but also because it made me uncomfortable and unreasonable upset
I felt this but lets also add that i was an Undiagnosed Autistic Only child as well. Si when playing with others i didn’t REALIZE i was nit socializing correctly
Shes a pageant kid with 8 siblings, of COURSE shes got some type a control personailty. Shes what, second, third youngest? I think she just has issues with being Bossy, not bullying. She isnt doing this to be mean its just her personality. Shes resource guarding indy lol
She isn't she could just have trouble socializing Or in wild she is acting like a stereotype mother And coco is kind she must be scared of getting bullied and her getting someone controlling her and coco might feel upset because you said her siblings might be in control of her she gets left out
That was a tiny puppy. Younger than Bingo XD Hercules on the other hand is a bully the way he bossed around Wonton and forced the other kids to be jumps in his motorbike game he even bullied Coco by acting intimidating
I think the younger sibling thing is definitely part of why Coco acts that way. Not saying bossing friends around is ok, but I definitely understand why she does, because being the youngest out of 7 kids myself I could sometimes be bossy. Especially when it came to like games. It made me feel like I was able to control something like the games we played, especially ones that included like a leader. Controlling made it so I wasn’t left out, but when I got older and my siblings started to move out, I kinda loft that controlling sense because I didn’t need to worry about being left out
Coco, as the littlest one in her family, can often have a very hard time, and as the smallest, often must turn to trickery, and sometimes manipulation, in order to be resourceful to get things done, such as getting what she wants. So this would carry over into her social life, like in school, and with her playfellows. Coco so often, at home, is deprived of power and control, so she sometimes seeks to steal the same, through trickery. If I were in her shoes, I would be tempted to do the same, and as a young child, sometimes did, using a bit of aggression and self-assertion on the side. Coco, if she misbehaves, should be gently guided to the right path, so as to prevent troubles for the other kids. Judgmentalism should be avoided, where possible. When children misbehave, their home lives should be considered in the equation, before judgment is made.
I'm the younger sibling, i only have one older brother. But i kinda feel what Coco is going through. Sometimes my brother would get bossy when it came to videogames, like the rules for an example. But in my mind i was still quite young an didn't really understand so i would be whiney when i didn't win, complain when stuff got difficult or when things don't go my way an say stuff like 'No fair, thats unfair' which i can see why he got bossy in the first place because of my own actions an he was just trying to place his foot down when i was acting like a brat. But now thanks to my brother, i learned throughout the years that the rules an challenges makes it fun.
This was a really well thought out and compassionate look at Coco and Judo's personalities. Being a younger sibling AND child of divorce who was never really able to be in control of anything, I definitely recognized some behaviors of my own childhood in both Coco and Judo. I think they're both definitely misunderstood but could fall into bully territory if not addressed properly. It looks like it is being addressed which is nice to see, so often in my experience nothing is done or the victim of the mistreatment is the one blamed instead.
I think Coco tip toes on the line of a bully, as being controlling and manipulative of other people is a form of bullying and social abuse. Especially in Wild Girls where she wants to cut Indy off from her other class mates. However its not uncommon for kids to do this, there is very little in a child's life they get to control except the game they play and in the episodes it shows she's learning
I feel like CoCo doesnt like following the rules or being bossed around, I think she likes to be the one in charge due to the other siblings who are older being in charge of her and she plays phone probably because she looks up to her older siblings and wishes to have the freedom her elder siblings have.
Could you talk about Honey soon? I find it so interesting that she enjoys playing as an animal generally more than anyone else and can be a little unsure when playing as not an animal, like in Doctor(I think that’s what it’s called?)
Really liked the break down perspectives here, I would say misunderstood because I actually see some of myself in coco, especially when I was younger 🐶
I think coco wanting to control things is because at home she probably is always controlled by her older siblings or some hence her being the youngest I think or like the 5th or 4th but besides that the point is she just want her Chance to have control ya know😅😅😅
I love bluey so much because this show just captures so much realness in how kids and adults act. I’m very happy out of all the shows, bluey has captured a massive audience with not just kids and families, but also older people who maybe don’t interact with many kids. But the issues with that is that these people seem to forget these are kids. I have worked in child care for 2-3 years now and I’ve seen so many kids emulate the personalities of all these characters. Kids are still learning and growing and the way they talk and act is very much like this. None of these kids, are just bullies just because they show some characteristics people don’t like to see.
Literally people hate on these characters for being representations of children that aren't perfect. I hate it. They're! CHILDREN!!! They're gonna disagree, misunderstand, be upset, feel abandoned, etc.
I really disagree that she's mean specifically to winton too. She just seems to be genuinely curious about his behavior, uncomfortable by it, or just unsure about his role in her game. And while she is controlling in her wild girls games, I really just think she's used to her game being what it was, band being confronted by lots of change. That can be very tough. And her not understanding why the rules matter was just because she kept being told, just so it, rules are rules, without an actual reason. Those aren't mean things. We forget, she has 7 siblings...
In my opinion, she's misunderstood. Or sometimes a jerk to me is compared to the classic series gordon and henry and james. Those do you act like Mollie's, but sometimes they have to disagreement sometimes like going on strike Or be mad at duck for Telling the trucks Galloping sausage Red iron Is old square wheels but actually It's diesel who Framed duck After that The three engines apologize to duck But to me she's kind of both in the same time As a bully and misunderstood
I think she is misunderstood because she has like 10 siblings and she might not get along well with them so she tries to make Indy like her so she can have friends (and she probably has a crush on McKenzie ) Spoiler:Bluey and McKenzie get married
Maybe she's misunderstood She just doesn't know what's going on in the world But don't forget she has a lot of sisters a lot of family members that we saw in the picture and baby race we also saw her mom and not the other family members this could be from some of her sisters how they act maybe other episodes from the future 😜❤️
To me she is misunderstood bc she has lots of slblings and that means her parents wouldnt be able to play with her much and it could make her annoyed or pissed so yeah.
Judo, Hercules, Coco, muffin and that little black dog (from promise) are kids. To let you know kids have a problem of developing the front part of the brain that is the option thinking. They sometimes make mistake and kids don't understand how anything feel around them sometimes
I think it's because she has a lot of siblings and they may have been mean to her and some kids reflect that on other kids. So that's my thought so I hope you like it........YAY YOU PUT MY IDEA IN THE VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!😃
I havent been watching bluey really much yet but from the context from these clips it looks like Coco is kinda trying to gatekeep Indy in a way bc maybe Coco likes like Indy when young children like like each other in irl I've seen kids trying to isolate their crush. Like from others usalluy girls from others girls from their guy crush and vise versa with guys but in this context it'll be both of course, bc we are in a time where anyone can like any one more freely without most criticism for the most part. Seems like crushes tend to want to control scenarios too and of course this happens with more adult relationships too. So def shes in the misunderstood category
I definitely think she’s misunderstood. As a kid with 9 sibling I really think she likes to control things because she never gets to. Sometimes I feel the same way. That’s what I think in my opinion because I can relate to that reason. So I feel like she just wants to control things sometimes what do you think? 😊
Shes def not a bully imo. As a youngst child, i can kinda relate to her, in wanting to control what she can afger almost never getting to be in control of things
I really relate to Coco in shadowlands. A lot of the time when I was little I didn't understand that the challenge was part of the game, and I thought that I would be helping by finding ways that it could be easier.
I grew up with 4 brothers so I can confirm that being the youngest usually means you get pushed around a lot (intentionally or unintentionally) so there would often be times as a kid I would act similarly to Coco because I wanted to be the one in control and have things go my way for a change. So I definitely think Coco is just misunderstood, same with Muffin and Judo, and I hope they grow more in the future just like I did.
I'm being honest here, I love Coco a lot since she reminds me of myself when I was younger, I was always called bossy by my parents or other friends, since I was used to having things go a certain way, and seeing how Coco was made me remember (And also bc she's a poodle and I just love them)
It kind of depends. I'm the youngest of 6 and got left out and neglected normally and kids at school avoided me(they thought i was scary because of how tall i was compared to everyone in my class, i literally had 1 friend only-) and i only had one friend, but, I've never been controlling or anything close to what Coco or Judo does. Of course, all children are different, i think my lack of forcing people to hang out with me was just me also just enjoying being a anti-social person normally(and other things-). She could possibly be misunderstood, but, she also could just be a bully, or both. Her home life could lead to any option really and bullies often just have a terrible home life and take it out on others.
Im my opinion. I think she misunderstood because her siblings are older and like in their teens and always in their phone and coco is all by her self and alone and she wants to be included and feel like if she controlls the games she can't be told you can't play or get kick out winton understand her feelings but she might take her anger out on him but he understand that she upset and Indy is like her best friend and she feels like if she plays with others they Won't be best friends anymore and so she will be loney and maybe she has a hard time making friends so this is why I think it's a misunderstanding
In the episde baby race you can see that bella ( cocos mother ) has 9 children , so maybe coco dosn't really have many people around her age to play with / want to play with her, so when she is with her friends she wants to be in control.

I see your point!
Coco also feels like a similiar situation because in her home, she does have 8 siblings and even in the car when we see explorers, the car is JAMPACKED so i'm sitting there wondering where does Coco even sit? does she have to sit on someones lap or what?
i know bin night already covered bullying but i would like to see a episode that goes in depth with that topic.
same, i feel like circus did a good job of it too and butterflys as well!
She can be a little pushy, but I think she has everyone’s best interest at hand.
I think it's important to realize that when Calypso didn't react to her being mean
she was probably like "she is like 7, she doesn't know any better"
I also like the way you brought up coco being the youngest with 9 older sibs
and how she wants to be in control a lot bc I am the 3rd youngest of 15 (5 in heaven and 10 on earth )
I went through a phase of controlling my only younger sibling (on this earth) so I do think that
She was misunderstood. love your channel you just got another subscriber
Coco I don’t think is a bully she is a
✨Actor✨
I agree
Yes. Slay ✨✨✨
Shes a pageant kid with 8 siblings, of COURSE shes got some type a control personailty. Shes what, second, third youngest? I think she just has issues with being Bossy, not bullying. She isnt doing this to be mean its just her personality. Shes resource guarding indy lol
She is the youngest not the second youngest
She isn't she could just have trouble socializing
Or in wild she is acting like a stereotype mother
And coco is kind she must be scared of getting bullied and her getting someone controlling her and coco might feel upset because you said her siblings might be in control of her she gets left out
I think the pup who didn’t let bluey go on the zipline is a bully
agreed
I also agree,I didn't like that little un named pup
damn
Fr
That was a tiny puppy. Younger than Bingo XD Hercules on the other hand is a bully the way he bossed around Wonton and forced the other kids to be jumps in his motorbike game he even bullied Coco by acting intimidating
I think the younger sibling thing is definitely part of why Coco acts that way. Not saying bossing friends around is ok, but I definitely understand why she does, because being the youngest out of 7 kids myself I could sometimes be bossy. Especially when it came to like games. It made me feel like I was able to control something like the games we played, especially ones that included like a leader. Controlling made it so I wasn’t left out, but when I got older and my siblings started to move out, I kinda loft that controlling sense because I didn’t need to worry about being left out
I think all bullies are misunderstood.
Either way, Coco's misunderstood.
I think it's quite possible to be bossy without being a bully.
It's possible!
All of my friends and me love bluey I hope you thrive and grow your channel bless you❤
thats so sweet of you to say thank you!!!!
9:45 - 9:56
To distracted from Honey trying to kill Makenzie
When children misbehave, their home lives should be considered in the equation, before judgment is made.
ur vids are the medicine to all my days ^^
No! Coco’s far too sweet to be a bully! she would never hurt anyone!
I agree. Hercules on the other hand is defo a bully
Ngl, this the one show that I see the most real conversations and theories about the characters
I wouldn’t say coco is a bully now Judo that’s a bully
That's the softest looking Bluey outfit I've ever seen! Looks so cozy!
I never thought I'd relate so much to a pink cartoon dog 😭
I never seen Coco as a bully.
I don’t think she’s a bully, maybe a little “bossy” or “controlling” but maybe at home she has to be a bit more
Assertive
I just realized how early I am! But Coco kinda reminds me of myself and my childhood
Could you talk about Honey soon? I find it so interesting that she enjoys playing as an animal generally more than anyone else and can be a little unsure when playing as not an animal, like in Doctor(I think that’s what it’s called?)
Thank you for this video. I absolutely love all your content. This one hit differently. ❤
Really liked the break down perspectives here, I would say misunderstood because I actually see some of myself in coco, especially when I was younger 🐶
Ive never hear of Coco being depicted as a bully until this video. Thats interesting way of looking at her character.
"Winton why Can't You Just Be Good"got me laughing "
The photo of Coco's extented family reminds me of The Loud House. She is the Lily in the family.
I find it very interesting how Coco went from wanting to change the rules to never changing the rules. In my opinion, she's just still learning.
4:30 is so funny Cocos laugh 😂
Bluey is the best kids show ever!!! Also I love your videos Aussie Girl Margie!!! ❤😊
Fr
thank you so much!
Your Welcome!! ❤😊
It just might be tough for her , because she has eight siblings.
I think she is misunderstood because she has like 10 siblings and she might not get along well with them so she tries to make Indy like her so she can have friends (and she probably has a crush on McKenzie ) Spoiler:Bluey and McKenzie get married
Maybe she's misunderstood
She just doesn't know what's going on in the world
But don't forget she has a lot of sisters a lot of family members that we saw in the picture and baby race we also saw her mom and not the other family members this could be from some of her sisters how they act maybe other episodes from the future 😜❤️
Good analysis the Characters in bluey ✨🌟
To me she is misunderstood bc she has lots of slblings and that means her parents wouldnt be able to play with her much and it could make her annoyed or pissed so yeah.
1:39 is so funny the way Winston laughs
Judo, Hercules, Coco, muffin and that little black dog (from promise) are kids. To let you know kids have a problem of developing the front part of the brain that is the option thinking. They sometimes make mistake and kids don't understand how anything feel around them sometimes
I like when McKenzie went like “Wait What”
I think it's because she has a lot of siblings and they may have been mean to her and some kids reflect that on other kids. So that's my thought so I hope you like it........YAY YOU PUT MY IDEA IN THE VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!😃
I’m obsessed with these
I’ve heard that theory. Coco was nice tho😅😅
Edit: Maybe misunderstood
Nevermind from the first part
I havent been watching bluey really much yet but from the context from these clips it looks like Coco is kinda trying to gatekeep Indy in a way bc maybe Coco likes like Indy when young children like like each other in irl I've seen kids trying to isolate their crush. Like from others usalluy girls from others girls from their guy crush and vise versa with guys but in this context it'll be both of course, bc we are in a time where anyone can like any one more freely without most criticism for the most part. Seems like crushes tend to want to control scenarios too and of course this happens with more adult relationships too. So def shes in the misunderstood category
No she isn’t a bully she is a nice person
I definitely think she’s misunderstood. As a kid with 9 sibling I really think she likes to control things because she never gets to. Sometimes I feel the same way. That’s what I think in my opinion because I can relate to that reason. So I feel like she just wants to control things sometimes what do you think? 😊
The horse scared coco and the screaming 😂 4:31
Kind of.
Coco is not a bully. Judo is the true bully. Which is why Judo doesn't go to Calypso's school.
Winston is one of my fav characters just cause he makes me laugh 😂
I'm being honest here, I love Coco a lot since she reminds me of myself when I was younger, I was always called bossy by my parents or other friends, since I was used to having things go a certain way, and seeing how Coco was made me remember
(And also bc she's a poodle and I just love them)
It kind of depends.
When judo said ’’well blueys my friend’’ bingo should of said ’’well shes my sister’’
In the episde baby race you can see that bella ( cocos mother ) has 9 children , so maybe coco dosn't really have many people around her age to play with / want to play with her, so when she is with her friends she wants to be in control.
She’s just misunderstood I think I love your videos.
13:47 She is probably misunderstood because of her family
This video actually makes so much sense, also major Tom? 4:27
Omg i love how you love these things
