normally I really enjoy your videos, but this one seemed more speculative and guessing/reaching, kinda took me out of it, but still you make great content,
I’m surprised you didn’t bring up the events from “Sheep Dog,” when Wendy comforts Bluey after she expresses her fear that their mom might be getting sick of them. Besides already knowing Chili for years and the struggles she’s faced, the sincerity in Wendy’s tone makes me think she’s dealt with this kind of situation before; likely when Judo first learned her parents were splitting. It’s fairly common for kids of divorce to quickly assume one or both parents just don’t care about them anymore, or that they themselves caused the rift in the marriage.
If the theory about Wendy being divorced is true and we do see her ex at one point, it would be nice if they actually have an amicable relationship. While some divorces can get pretty messy, there are also others where the parents are still courteous and respectful towards each other despite not being compatible in an actual relationship, even if only for the sake of their children.
I feel like at first Wendy hated his new gf (judo’s dad) and still wasn’t over him,and the dad trying to be kinda of nice and supportive but Wendy is so mad at him she snaps at him,but now she more chill about it
Yeah it's in Sticky Gecko where Bluey said she was nervous seeing Judo cause she hasn't seen her for awhile. Meaning she probably was visiting her dad for a couple of weeks.
We also cant forget Chippy and Cherry. Chippy also amuses me because he's a payoff for multiple jokes. Every time Bluey and Bingo play married or dating people Bingo is ALWAYS a blokey-bloke who says "Yeah, babe" "You got it, babe." And Chippy literally talks like that, same deep voice, always saying babe. Bingo is spot on.
@@shiningskies47 In the episode Tradies, Chippy is the apprentice tradie under Sparky, an older dog. Cherry is his girlfriend. You hear him talk to her on the phone and he sounds like Bingo when she plays Bluey's blokey-bloke date.
My headcanon is that Judo's parents are divorced but she mainly lives with her father and only really sees her mother during the weekends or holidays. Wendy never got remarried or into another relationship because she's just way to independent for that. Her father on the other hand is either in a relationship or he got remarried.
Also judo didn't have a very close relationship with her mother until the episode dirty. She's a lot closer to her dad but her parents literally can't stand each other so they will never be in the same room for more than a couple minutes. She didn't go to the same school as blue or the other kids us because the school she goes to is much closer to her dad's place which is why she's there more often.
As someone who was an only child who's parents got divorced when I was young and father remarried to someone with younger kids, AND my mother was pretty high strung.......... all I can say is I think you hit the nail on the head with Judo and what she's going through.
I think Wendy is pretty much canonically divorced by now. But the thing with the hair is a stretch. I think she cut her hair as reference that they don’t need what people associate them with to be pretty
I also kind of agree. Because we do see that Wendy was the one that was really wanting them to keep their appearance pretty and a certain way. A lot of times parents can force their own way of living, standards and just expectations on to their kid, who doesn’t always want to live like that or do those things. And when Wendy saw that what she was saying and doing, how she wanted Judo to look, was hindering Judo of being herself having fun and doing what she wanted, she thought that a change was needed, mentally mostly because as a parent you shouldn’t push your expectations on to your kids, you should let them be themselves and explore and have fun, without being held back by how the parents want them to live or look. So i don’t agree necessarily that it was about how other people viewed them, but rather just something Wendy particularly took pride in and didn’t realize was a burden on Judo.
A lot of Bluey episodes show deep meaning for kids in such an amazing way. I think the topic of divorce between Wendy and maybe her ex husband would really be an interesting topic to add!
A male friend I know told me a long time ago "women change their hair so much because it's the one thing in their lives they have absolute control over." Made so much sense to me...
Another way we could prove the divorce theory is looking back at a moment in my childhood. When I was a child, one of my friends had her parents go through a divorce, and her attitude went on a negative dive. She became really mean through the duration of her parents separating, and I can understand that. Back to Judo now. In Butterflies, we can see that she has more of an attitude than in later episodes. I personally believe that in that period of time around Butterflies, Judo’s parents were in the process of divorce, which caused her to become pretty mean to Bluey and Judo. In the end, my friend and Judo both changed and became nicer as time went on!
If the whole “Caspar being Judo’s step-brother” theory is true, then I feel like she’d be one of those kids who would say “you’re not my brother/sister, quit saying you are”. Considering the fact that it might be really new to her
9:31 also if we were to believe that Casper is actually older than Judo it does fit the description of her saying little kids are annoying and where that came from because that actually is something a lot of older kids do say
As the oldest of all my cousins and siblings (many…MANY cousins), I can attest. Little kids are soooo annoying. They’re fun but…they’re also a lot and their interests were constantly something that I’d already outgrown. My current youngest cousin lags more than 25 years behind me (my other was the second oldest of her 4 siblings and had me at a young age on top of that). And now of course pair that with the young nieces and nephews I have in my adult life now aaaaand-! 🥲
I always thought Frisky was also a Heeler. 🤔 But, from just looks alone, my theory has been that Pat and Janelle are different breeds. Pat is a Labrador Retriever and Janelle is a Golden Retriever.
I believe that the divorce theory is the one because it just makes more sense. If she didn’t have a dad or another mom then we won’t have much of an answer on where she is
As someone who's parents split when I was in late primary school, I kind of like the divorce theory. It makes quite a bit of sense too. Of note with Sticky Gecko- Judo could've been spending summer holidays with her dad, and we all know that Summer Holidays are a long time for a kid! My parents actually split our Summer holidays in 2 because it's just that long, and allowed them to make holiday time with us more fair- One would get Summer/Winter/Christmas and the other would have Autumn/Spring and then they'd swap the next year. A full 2 year cycle with us would be Summer(Jan)->Winter->Summer(Dec)->Autumn->Spring->Repeat There was no big custody battle, no trying to turn us kids against the other parent, they sorted everything out quite peacefully! They were always polite to each other when they interacted after they separated. It was done so peacefully in fact, that the transition from a single 2 parent household to co-parenting in 2 single parent households was actually really smooth for my brothers and I!
When I first saw the episode Butterflies, I didn’t really think much of the name Casper, because I just thought that Judo was pretending to be a teenager or perhaps a grownup, and that she was pretending to either have a boyfriend or a husband.
I definitely get divorced vibes and possibly a large split of time due to distance. The parents aren't close so they have to do large time splits with possibly Wendy not being the primary custodial parent.
With the evidence that you have provided here I can get on board with Casper being Judy's stepbrother or her father's new girlfriends son. But to be fair, I really just figured that Casper was just a pretend person that she made up since she and Bluey were playing pretend.
I’m firmly in the divorced parents category when it comes to Wendy, Judo and their family just cause it makes the most sense for Judo’s early character and later development especially since we don’t see many split families on Bluey. I’d be so down for some more queer rep, I don’t think Wendy is though that would be cool. Australia has such a unique and cool queer culture including an amazing Drag scene, like seeing queens like Courtney Act or references to Pricilla Queen of the Desert on the show would be a fun way to show more of the Bluey world while expressing love for the lgbtq folks who watch and potentially work on the show
Aussie girl margie, nice video In my head I kind of think of wendy as the only parent in judos life, and the reason why judo isn't seen very often is because she goes to a sleepaway/ boarding school and when we do see her its when she's on holiday
And if Casper is indeed Judo's step-brother I think it would be interesting if he refers to his stepfather as Dad as you could say it's because he doesn't know his biological father for one reason or another and Judo's dad is the closest he has to an actual father figure in his life as that does happen quite a lot
Not to mention Judo doesn't go to the same school as Bluey. They're not classmates but they know each other through their mums since Chilli and Wendy were at the same mother's group as seen in Baby Race. I'm convinced Wendy went through a divorce as Judo was around that young age. Her husband/ex has moved out of town and has enrolled Judo to the school there. Lucky doesn't go to Bluey's school either but he's a student somewhere else but local
I think Wendy being divorced can be true and even Caspar being a step brother but instead of him being younger, he'd be older. And when she is reacting to how annoying bingo is in butterflies, it's her mimicking her older step brother as if she was the small child that was annoying. If you had siblings, you definitely had this or did this too.
That comment about changing your hair after a breakup shook me! My ex dyed her hair red… Also I think you’re right about the LGBTQ lense. Like I love inclusion but it’s gotta be natural.
Once again, Casper could just be a friend or an imaginary friend just because she’s like I want to go order a cream buns for Casper doesn’t mean that Casper is her dad it doesn’t necessarily mean that I’m being honest she could’ve just wanted to play and she picked a random nameso I really don’t think that Casper is her father’s name. I’m still thinking that she doesn’t have a dad that’s just a single mom that’s fine. It’s just because she’s like I would go order cream to Casper. Doesn’t mean that Caspers her father.
I wouldn’t completely write off her being LGBTQ+ cause maybe she’s asexual or aromantic but wanted kids? She may not desire a partner but desired a kid and had judo through IBF. I think that would be interesting and some good story telling cause then we see many kinds of families including ones where the kid literally only has 1 parent
Aussie girl margie, giving judo a father and a step brother, could be good for potential storylines in a (hopefully we will get) season 4, also it would mean judo would be joining the forever growing sibling appearing out of nowhere club (the other members Currently being lila, lucky and rusty, not counting indy because she mentions having a sister in early baby ).
I doubt she’s apart of lgbtq because Judo looks biologically her child. I think either her husband died, she broke up/divorced with him, or he doesn’t come outside a lot like how we never seen Janelle until Pass the Parcel.
I like the divorce theory, but I like to think she could be divorced and part of the LGBT+ community. She could be bi-curious, or bisexual! I don’t know, I just think it’s interesting to think about :)
Out of curiosity, why can't Wendy be a single mother that has never been married? She could have ended a long term relationship with her daughter's father. Maybe her daughter is the product of a one night stand and they both want to be in their child's life. My children are always questioning our family dynamics because everywhere they turn society and someone are telling them only married couples can have children. So I have constantly explain that is not how real life works and that there are many many different family types with children. Some moms and dads are/were married. Some moms and dads have never married. Until the show definitely confirms the divorced theory we see Wendy and Judo family dynamics as being similar to our own - the product of the end of a long-term loving relationship.
Juto shoulden't be called a bad chareter because of one episode in Bluey if Your right about this theory she might just haven't had her father and probably just turned out differently without her father Jutos just has a difecult life and shes still young we have to remember the Bluey chareters aren't fully grown dogs
I honestly wanna see a full episode about judos life and see/learn a whole lot more about her Maybe we might see more of judos family members in the future too
i feel like casper is judos dads new girlfriends son (that was a mouthfull lol) is older than judo, like maybe tween/teen . the reason i think that is because in the episode butterflies, we see judo running away from bingo because shes younger and to her "little kids are so annoying." i feel like she might be projecting what her step brother says to her onto someone else younger than her.
For being next door neighbors we don't get a lot of interaction with Judo and she's hardly ever in neighborhood group scenes. I may be wrong as I've only just finished season 1 but I don't remember seeing her in Bluey's classroom either. I think the divorce idea is solid. However, instead of living with her mom Judo must stay with her dad the majority of time. I wouldn't know why since Wendy seems to be well off financially and has a stable life. I'm sure the Australian court system has different standards than the American system in regards to child placement after a divorce.
Wendy may only have weekend custody of Judo , which would be weird because custody 99.9% (exaggerated) of the time defaults to the mum, but if Wendy doesn't have a job but her husband has a very good job, that would probably result in Wendy having less custody. But then it's kinda weird when Judo *is* home and she isn't spending all her time with Judo?
Nothing to do with the video but the other day I found an online store that ships Australian snacks and goods worldwide. I know there were a few things mentioned in Bluey that I wanted to try, and this was a chance to try it. Of course the shipping is expensive, or at least it was for me. Might be cheaper if you live on the West Coast or something. The store even sells Lamingtons(which I couldn't buy because it bumped the price of shipping way up). Australian things just don't exist where I live so this is a good chance to sort of "vibe" myself into the Blueyverse.
I feel bad for judo parents they haven’t even get along each other but hey it’s a theory am I right? But what can say just like double babysitter “true love is not forever” and it’ll stop being that way.
I am so surprised that Bluey is already so old. I remember when I was 10 and I saw the first episode I was like “damn. This has a lot of potential.” Now 15 yo me is obsessed a little.
I would agree with your Caspar theory if she didn’t say in the w begging if the phone call “Hi, it’s me Judo” I think she would’ve used a different name for herself if she was truly being her mum or step mother, I think it is possible that Caspar is the step brother though
That sounds fairly legit to me. I think you're spot-on with the indications you've noted. I do enjoy the show and enjoy the little bits of adult humor they put in there. My three girls and I enjoy it and can hardly wait for season 3 and 4 to come out on DVD!
Random idea I like. It’s probably not gonna be canon. But the idea of Wendy and Brandy getting together I think is really cute. So Brandy can get a child, Wendy can have a partner. And Judo could have a redemption and become closer with Bluey and Bingo since they’d then be cousin-in-laws
Even though Wendy probably isn't lgbtq, I'll still hold out hope for ludo adding a character who is in the future. It'll probably be censored to heck but still😭😭 side note, I think Judo gets a lot of hate for being a brat but that's why I like her, kids are like that sometimes and given that her parents are definitely divorced, there's a possibility that that's the reason as to why she acts the way she does
I don't know if it is because I'm up to date with the show now, but it feels like Wendy and Judo haven't showed up in a while and I wonder if when they show up again how's their hair gonna look like.
I always thought she was a kid from divorce since the second we met her in the show , I just always thought of it and u never see her dad , if she did we would if seen him by now with her mom And It confirmed my theory when chili said, " I know u havnt seen her in a long time" bluey has different kinds of family's, and try to be inclusive like how rusty dad in the army or how they have a character who deaf, a dog from Argentina etc. So I wouldn't be surprised if they have a kid with divorce parents to normalize it even more.
I wouldn’t rule out Wendy being LGBTQ+, maybe she and her husband divorced because Wendy realised she wasn’t attracted to men. It could be an interesting narrative. Maybe the whole cutting her hair and change concept is her slowly embracing her new carefree lifestyle, like she’s open to start being more comfortable with her sexuality.
Aussie girl margie, one of the reasons why I think after season 3, will get one more season at least is because I heard or read somewhere that Joe mentioned they were currently working on 20 shorts (the bonus bits that can found on UA-cam, also this was a good couple of months ago so whether these shorts are still in production at this time or not I'm not sure), I feel like if season 3 was going to be the final season, production would stop completely, no more shorts as well as no more episodes, hence why I think theirs still at least one more season to come, would you agree?
At first I thought that maybe Judo's dad had passed away and the reason she is away a lot is she visits her late dad's family. Maybe they lived far away. But if that was the case I would think that they would have mentioned it by now. The show seems open to exploring sensitive topics so having a character with a parent who had died would be something I think they would explore. So after watching your video divorce seems like the more logical answer. I did figure that Wendy was a single parent. Just didn't know whether it was through divorce or death of a spouse.
Wow, I never knew that cutting off hair is actually a REAL thing. None of my female friends and neither me myself never cut our hair as a resemble of a great change. I guess, this is a part of the culture, I find it interesting
Honestly, I’d like to believe that Judo has daddy issues, which would be reasoned why she was so rude in the earlier episodes. Besides, if this show already mentioned miscarriages, infertility and even death, then why it shouldn’t mention domestic abuse either?
After watching this video, I really like the idea that Wendy is a single or divorced mother and, if she is divorced, her ex husband has a new wife or girlfriend and they have a child!
Hey Margie I love your videos and your theory’s are great but I was just wondering if you could do and Easter egg video on every single drawing that Bluey and bingo have done and what you think they mean and once again love your videos have a great day 😀
HI there! I just had a really quick question for you. In season 2, episode 42, called bin night. Bingo said that someone at her school called her a bo bo head. And I am not quite sure what she meant. If you could look into that it would really be appreciated! Thank you!😁❤
I think judos parents being divorced is a good opportunity for an episode where bluey and bingo notice her dad picking her up, and go to their mum being like “Mum! Mum! Judos getting kidnapped!” And then chilli having to explain the situation to them.
I think judo was a triplet The reason why I feel like she would be a triplet is how the divorce went because during a certain particular episode where it's just judo winning the baby race episode you don't get to see the father at all My best guess is what happened was the third baby didn't make it and they didn't know what gender it was but they had judo and Casper and to make the divorce fair they did the parent trap thing where they had the kids choose where they wanted to be during certain times judo with her mother most of the time and Casper with his father most of the time and that's why I think judo and Casper or triplets just the one baby didn't make it and since that one baby was lost maybe they kept fighting with each other over the kids like I know some parents when they grieve for one baby they tend to blame each other over the loss of one and that is what could have triggered the divorce is a loss of one baby out of three
The reason why I think judo is like really clingy to her friend as well is because she's missing that extra sibling I know in my life when I learned that my sibling didn't make it cuz I was a pair of twins I felt more alone in the world and my friends kind of made it a lot easier to feel that void at certain instances not only that I don't think her dad's giving her a lot more of attention because normally certain particular types of dads only care about their sons and maybe since she's not around her father as often as her mother is the reason why she's so attached to her mother and attached to her friends she doesn't want to lose anyone more like you know how parents pick favorites yeah I get that kind of vibes
Not only that during the baby race episode I could see at certain points judo's mom was really happy that her little girl was doing really well but I think her face even though that she was smiling and being happy hid some sadness behind it see I'm ask my sadness with happiness all the time and I feel that's what judo's mom was probably doing
When I first saw it I thought Casper is Judo’s son “as pretend” and the reason for it is because judo is acting like her mum/adult and it would sence if yeah but it also makes sence abt Casper is a step brother
I think if it is revealed that Judo had an Older Brother I think they could mention that he died in a car accident and Judo acts out the way she does because she actually misses her older brother and I think that would be a perfect episode to relate to children or adults who had an older sibling who died when they were still young
Here's my theory about Judo's dad: I believe Wendy actually had Judo when she was in college. Judo is around 6-8 years old in the show, so Wendy (Judo's Mum) is probably in her late 20's during the show. And she had Judo when she was 20 years old. It's possible that maybe this was the result of Wendy dating her boyfriend. And her Boyfriend broke up with her due to the child. And in addition to that, there are some times where teens might give birth. That's my theory.
In certain episodes of the show I have seen Winton's dad hanging around another female dog possibly his new girlfriend as remember Winton mentioned his parents are divorced
what do you think of this theory???

@@katthebat2414 oh thank you! I drew it myself!
why not both, she can be both be divorced and part of the LGBTQ that's a possibility
Aussie girl margie, nice video
In my head I kind of think of wendy as the only parent in judos life, and the reason why judo isn't seen very often is because she goes to a sleepaway/ boarding school and when we do see her its when she's on holiday
And if Casper is indeed Judo's step-brother I think it would be interesting if he refers to his stepfather as Dad as you could say it's because he doesn't know his biological father for one reason or another and Judo's dad is the closest he has to an actual father figure in his life as that does happen quite a lot
If Wendy is divorced it would be nice to see an episode where Judo visits her father
Maybe judo is homeschooled with her mum (if Wendy is divorced) and at school with her dad
My ex dyed her hair red…
Also I think you’re right about the LGBTQ lense.
Imagine if Muffin was in the same episode as Judo. Who knows what will happen if Muffin kept annoying Judo?
Caspar could also be the name of Judo's "husband" when she plays pretend, like Hecuba and Gerald for the Heeler girls.
Why are your theories so good?😭💙
doesn't Winton imply that his parents are divorced in the episode Helicopter?
He sure does!
He does?
I completely agree with you!! I think your whole theory makes sense. Love this theory!!! I do think that Judo is insecure and it's do to the divorce.
I think Casper is more likely an older brother who is running away from Judo, and now she's doing it to Bingo.
Juto shoulden't be called a bad chareter because of one episode in Bluey if Your right about this theory she might just haven't had her father and probably just turned out differently without her father Jutos just has a difecult life and shes still young we have to remember the Bluey chareters aren't fully grown dogs
I honestly wanna see a full episode about judos life and see/learn a whole lot more about her
Maybe we might see more of judos family members in the future too
Tbh, I always figured that Casper was Judo's imagery husband, like Bluey and Bingo sometimes have during play
Maybe Wendy is single because you know some moms are single
Or maybe her husband got really sick and passed and she was single
i feel like casper is judos dads new girlfriends son (that was a mouthfull lol) is older than judo, like maybe tween/teen . the reason i think that is because in the episode butterflies, we see judo running away from bingo because shes younger and to her "little kids are so annoying." i feel like she might be projecting what her step brother says to her onto someone else younger than her.
5:04 Britney Spears? YOU DID NOT-💀💀💀
8:01 I had to re-listen to this part again to get what you meant.
Doesn't Winston say in the helicopter but that his dad doesn't live with his mum. Then get drops in dad's pool.
the changing of the hair is also for "control" with everyting else changing in our lives its the one thing we CAN control. :)
Anyone know when season 3b drops on Disney+? Or 3c?
Even though Wendy probably isn't lgbtq, I'll still hold out hope for ludo adding a character who is in the future. It'll probably be censored to heck but still😭😭 side note, I think Judo gets a lot of hate for being a brat but that's why I like her, kids are like that sometimes and given that her parents are definitely divorced, there's a possibility that that's the reason as to why she acts the way she does
I don't know if it is because I'm up to date with the show now, but it feels like Wendy and Judo haven't showed up in a while and I wonder if when they show up again how's their hair gonna look like.
I always thought she was a kid from divorce since the second we met her in the show , I just always thought of it and u never see her dad , if she did we would if seen him by now with her mom
And It confirmed my theory when chili said, " I know u havnt seen her in a long time" bluey has different kinds of family's, and try to be inclusive like how rusty dad in the army or how they have a character who deaf, a dog from Argentina etc.
Love the bluey earings
Aussie girl margie, one of the reasons why I think after season 3, will get one more season at least is because I heard or read somewhere that Joe mentioned they were currently working on 20 shorts (the bonus bits that can found on UA-cam, also this was a good couple of months ago so whether these shorts are still in production at this time or not I'm not sure), I feel like if season 3 was going to be the final season, production would stop completely, no more shorts as well as no more episodes, hence why I think theirs still at least one more season to come, would you agree?
Yes I always thought Wendy was a divorcee.
in sticky gecko that could've been referencing that she was on a trip
Hi Margie can you explain the long dog thing I have been watching you for two or three months but I still dont understand it if you can't it is ok
I'm gonna go with divorced
5:31 My sister wants to dye her hair blue...... im worried now...
Where did you get your earrings from? I love them
A market in australia but you can get them on Etsy too!
Wow, I never knew that cutting off hair is actually a REAL thing. None of my female friends and neither me myself never cut our hair as a resemble of a great change. I guess, this is a part of the culture, I find it interesting
The moment when I first watched the video I was like I love your background❤
I think Casper could also maybe be an Imaginary friend
I haven't seen the 10 new episodes yet 😢
When you said let it go it reminded me of frozen let it go let it go something something let it go
We already saw Caspar
Honestly, I’d like to believe that Judo has daddy issues, which would be reasoned why she was so rude in the earlier episodes. Besides, if this show already mentioned miscarriages, infertility and even death, then why it shouldn’t mention domestic abuse either?
After watching this video, I really like the idea that Wendy is a single or divorced mother and, if she is divorced, her ex husband has a new wife or girlfriend and they have a child!
What do you guys watch bluey on?! I watched it on Disney+ but there's missing episodes and I know it like I can't even watch them :(
i also think why wendy said it's for a change means to break her family generational trauma
Hey Margie I love your videos and your theory’s are great but I was just wondering if you could do and Easter egg video on every single drawing that Bluey and bingo have done and what you think they mean and once again love your videos have a great day 😀
We have met Caspar in the episode pass the Parcel we his mum said “Caspar has asked that we play by luckys dads rules”.
i love your bluey themed earrings!! EEEEEE
The “step brother “is the little girl with her hair cut it off
HI there! I just had a really quick question for you. In season 2, episode 42, called bin night. Bingo said that someone at her school called her a bo bo head. And I am not quite sure what she meant. If you could look into that it would really be appreciated! Thank you!😁❤
I do find it funny that Judo and Wendy have red tongues because Chow chows have blue tongues
LOOVE the earrings
I think judos parents being divorced is a good opportunity for an episode where bluey and bingo notice her dad picking her up, and go to their mum being like “Mum! Mum! Judos getting kidnapped!” And then chilli having to explain the situation to them.
The intro is adorable :3
9:35 THAT WOULD BE SO COOL TO SEE!! And i so want to see this 🤩
5:20 is this what happened to Melanie Martinez😳😳
Here's my theory about Judo's dad:
I believe Wendy actually had Judo when she was in college.
I play the movement break and I think that one of the dogs in the movement break that I played as Bluey was Casper
In certain episodes of the show I have seen Winton's dad hanging around another female dog possibly his new girlfriend as remember Winton mentioned his parents are divorced
