Finding this little gem was a lifesaver for me today! Not having the cut contour spot color fill the image made all the difference in my project! Thank you!
Once a cutline has been created, you can select it, then click on Object and then click on Break Curve Apart. This will allow you to select certain portions of the cutline and delete them.
I don't see color palette manager. I am looking under widows-color palette-it's blank. I just got CorelDRAW standard 2020. my goal is to learn how to do cut lines on my new Roland. How please?
I'm using mimaki cjv 150-75, after printing my media auto cut off from the roll, I don't want that, How to stop auto cut off from my media after printing?
hey the video is great, but unfortunately it does not work for me for some reason. Does this only work for versaworks or also for mimaki´s rasterlink? I followed the entire procedere, but all it saves in my hotfolder is a print, not a cut. I already asked in a big mimaki-facebook group, the few answers I got on that issue where pretty much the same shown in the video. My problem is this: I already have designed pieces to cut on a regular plotting machine. Each one is absolutely precise to be part of a many-pieces skin for drones. So I´m talking exact on less than a mm. Now I bought a Mimaki CJV30-100 to start custom-skin designing, but unfortunately the new machine cuts the pieces less accurate, talking 2mm and more different. To get this problem solved, people in the fb-group suggested to save the files directly to my hotfolder as eps instead of going through finecut. All done, all I get in rasterlink is a printjob, no cutting option. So I found your video tutorial, followed all the steps, same result. What am I doing wrong? All this is only the try to find out if maybe finecut changes the original sizes however. I still don´t know if this, when working, solved my generell issue with the size. But I wanted to give it a try... I need to fix this, otherwise i have to design more than 750 pieces again, like 3 years of work...
Are you using a raster image instead of a vector? The video doesn’t show it, but he was using a vector image and when selecting the image boundary function, it works as it should. If you create a boundary on a raster image, it will just put a box around the picture. Be sure to use vector graphics or use the trace feature in CorelDRAW to make it vector before using the Create Boundary function.
Thank you! Finally I could get my cutlines added the correct way!

You saved me many a day with this one video. Thanks so much!!

When I creat a boundary it always gives me a box boundary around the whole image instead of along the image. How do I fix that?
