- This is a video tutorial on how to add cut lines to different types of images in CorelDraw 2021 to prepare them for Roland VersaWorks printers, like the Roland BN-20, BN-20A, BN2-20, BN2-20A, SG-300, etc.

Do we need to create a bleed across the art?
Depending on the project, yes. If you're cutting blank space it doesn't matter, but if you're cutting directly onto a printed area, that definitely helps you avoid white space when the cutting is inevitably off by a fraction of a mm or so. I try to do most graphics with a contour that is a bit larger than the design for 2 reasons. 1) To avoid the appearance of blank space 2) To avoid the potential for curling of the vinyl that sometimes happens when cutting printed graphics.
