No hate, but I’m just pointing out that chickens don’t often eat their own eggs and will typically only do so if they have a nutrient deficiency. This means that if a chicken did want to eat it’s own egg it would do so right away, before the farmer would have taken the egg anyway. They don’t really keep them around just to snack on, so it’s not like eating eggs is taking them away from chickens who would have ate them instead.

@@UsurperOfTheThrone No you cannot get eggs without harming chickens. The system that is required to get that egg from those chickens is inherently violent. If you really believe there's a harmless way to take chicken's eggs even given all the evidence & simple logic that shows otherwise, then i have a bridge to sell you.
@@UsurperOfTheThroneYou can, but the vast majority of people don’t. Most people purchase eggs from the store that come from a factory farm where chickens are confined to crowded cages. They will spend their lives without fresh air, sunlight, or room to flap their wings. The male chicks born in the egg industry (about 7 billion globally each year) are considered useless and are separated to be killed immediately. They are then either gassed to death, suffocated in plastic bags, electrocuted, decapitated from workers stretching necks to the breaking point, or tossed into a metal grinder shredded alive. Most people don’t know the suffering it takes to produce eggs and will continue buying them secure in their belief that it’s harmless.

I went vegan on the farm i was raised on, where i raised backyard chickens from incubators. I would never willingly eat another chicken's egg & i used to consume them daily. The entire industry of animal exploitation is violent. Even the eggs we acquired on our small family farm & the chickens we kept with love - it is not possible to separate the consumption of animals or their by-products from violence.
What I don't get is the point in replicating not only the taste but also the appearance of such foods if they aren't what you wish to eat. It's genuinely baffling.
I've wanted this so badly since the first time you posted it but I've had a very poor execution whilst dealing with spherification in the past 😮💨 Guess is time to give it a try 🍳
Not judging or anything, but out of pure curiosity, why can’t vegans have eggs? The chicken just lays it, we don’t have to kill it or anything. I’m just confused what the reason is.
If a vegan became a vegan due to animal welfare, then most eggs are mass farmed in factories when the chicken are treated poorly. However, I do think free range locally sourced eggs should be fine, but at the end of the day it is still an animal product. I myself will just eat eggs and meat from wherever because I think it tastes nice
Egg laying chickens usually only live to 2-3 years when their bodies can no longer produce eggs. Once they are no longer useful, they are sent to slaughter. We have selectively bred them to produce 250+ eggs per year when the original chickens only laid 12-13 per year. Their natural life span is 10 years. Also look into male chick masceration. In large facilities when the eggs hatch, the chicks are separated by sex. The makes are literally ground alive because they are useless to the industry. The vast majority of eggs are factory farmed. There are thousands of birds one on top of the other in disgusting sheds...it's not uncommon to come across birds that have died and are unnoticed by the farmers.
I love how positive the comments are on these recipes from both vegans and non vegans on UA-cam. Take this to Twitter or Instagram tho.... They'll have a hissy fit
I dont know if this will be seen or answered but are vegan alternatives really that salty? I don't know if they've changed but I remember when the impossible meat and other alternatives were really really high in salt. This is not to take a jab at you or any vegan just living life. I'm just curious. Your food looks amazing and have a good day my guy.

@@IslandHomeWhy is it not possible?
What I don't get is the point in replicating not only the taste but also the appearance of such foods if they aren't what you wish to eat. It's genuinely baffling.

Bc it’s not the product of violence compared to actual eggs
I've wanted this so badly since the first time you posted it but I've had a very poor execution whilst dealing with spherification in the past 😮💨
Guess is time to give it a try 🍳
I suggest spooning the alginate over the yolk instead of using two spatulas to fold it over as I have in the past. Much easier!

“Why make your food look like meat if it’s vegan”
Because people want to eat normal food without being guilty
Crop deaths are quadrillions higher than in animal agriculture.

As a non Vegan I want to know is it possible to make a Vegan version of a hard boiled egg or eggs when they come straight out of a carton?
Ugh... The eggy toast... I need this
Just go and buy some free range eggs dude, you won't be inflicting any pain on the chickens, Oh and Jesus loves you, God bless
@@donrosscojoe5014 what happens to the male chicks?
“Everything is made of chemicals” - can confirm. That’s reality.
Even me.
@@RekonzChannel ok thanks that makes sense.
@@bigboyobi-wan no problem broski
What about free range
I love how positive the comments are on these recipes from both vegans and non vegans on UA-cam. Take this to Twitter or Instagram tho.... They'll have a hissy fit
I'm not even vegan, but I commend the creativity.
Looks amazing!!
Looks really good
I dont know if this will be seen or answered but are vegan alternatives really that salty? I don't know if they've changed but I remember when the impossible meat and other alternatives were really really high in salt. This is not to take a jab at you or any vegan just living life. I'm just curious. Your food looks amazing and have a good day my guy.
