Mexico is one of the few countries where there is a really and great affection here. Most of us Colombians grew up watching Chavo del 8, we have eaten tacos and burritos ever, enjoyed their pleasant music (Vicente Fernandez, Maná, Molotov, Juan Gabriel or Luis Miguel), very nice historical relations since Independence and other reasons. I lived for 4 years in Mexico and personally I think it's a beautiful country, not a bit of what many bad people want to convey (including the media). A true North American country, with cosmopolitan cities, penetrating culture and very loving people!

México es sin duda un gran país. Desde mi punto de vista, la gente muchas veces no valora todas las aportaciones que México le ha dado al mundo: desde nutritivas frutas como el aguacate y los inventos mayas y su desarrollo en temas tan vitales posteriormente en facultades como la astronomía, arquitectura, matemáticas o medicina. Aparte de eso, tienen ciudades muy encantadoras, en las que yo personalmente destaco Guanajuato, Puebla de Zaragoza, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Mérida, Santiago de Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Victoria de Durango, León, Pachuca y Toluca. Sin olvidar sus magníficos balnearios como Puerto Vallarta, Tulum, Cabo San Lucas, Playa del Carmen, Cancún y Acapulco, con aguas transparentes y un clima muy agradable. Ni hablar tampoco de la gastronomía tan apetitosa que tienen, especialmente mi plato favorito, los chilaquiles y el atole. Agradezco que exista un país así en el planeta: completo en todos los sentidos. Y más sí es un hermano nuestro que cada día va avanzado mucho más y quién sabe si en un futuro puedan comerse al mundo entero. Amor desde Bucaramanga, Colombia 🇨🇴❤🇲🇽

I walked that major street you were walking on that has that rotunda with the large monument! Stayed at a hotel a couple of blocks from the US Embassy. I love Mexico City so much! The weather was excellent even during the summer and there are so many restaurants and shops and less than an hour drive away is Teotihuacan with the Mexican pyramids.

I'm from Brazil and I was surprised to see some mention Brazil. Since Mexico is a much more visited country than Brazil. My advice to the kind Mexican taxi driver is to avoid Rio de Janeiro. Rio de Janeiro, North and Northeast have very beautiful things but they also have very ugly and dangerous things for tourists. You can visit the rest of the country calmly and safely.
