As an Englishman, I respect all cultures... I am well-travelled, I have befriended many people, and I have heard many stories about their homeland. My fav' cultures are: 🇮🇪 most similar to England: pubs, sports, comedy, music, folklore, fantasy, castles, flat cap, food. 🇮🇹 🇦🇹 Alps. 🇷🇺 Siberian railway. 🇹🇷 language. 🇹🇭 🇯🇵 beaches, mountains, pagodas, temples, airborne-candles. 🇺🇸 English pilgrims, Wildlife, mountains, Cinema, Coca-Cola. 🇨🇴 Coffee. 🇧🇷 Steakhouse. 🇨🇱 Wine. Bonus: 🇦🇿 my Brother works in the oil industry. I am told the Anglo-Azərbaycan relationship is strong.
Brazilian here, I agree regarding our steakhouses. We all miss them when we live outside of Brazil. I'm surprised you didn't put Germany as a similar country to England.
The kilt is definitely primarily a Scottish thing, although it's not as if it's everyday dress. It's reasonably popular in Ireland for men to wear a kilt when they're getting married, and also in Scotland, only probably even more so.
@@radule987 I do also love both Ukraine and Russia. But imho it's not the right moment to be neutral. It's a battle between civilization and barbarians. Even Switzerland which is neutral since 1600 took a clear position against Putin and the russian regime. I don't have anything against Russia and russian people and I didn't like NATO before this war started. But now we have to take a clear position with civilization. Believe me, mate, I love Serbia and Balkan countries in general, and maybe you are angry with NATO cause they bombed Beograd and other cities in 1999, and I was and I am angry too for that. But now the situation is different. We can't be neutral when we have to face the new Stalin.
@@oldstyle75 Well, politically, we can't afford to lose a partner like Russia. Since Serbia isn't in the EU, that would be a great loss for country's economy. As an Englishman, I respect all cultures... I am well-travelled, I have befriended many people, and I have heard many stories about their homeland. My fav' cultures are:
🇮🇪 most similar to England: pubs, sports, comedy, music, folklore, fantasy, castles, flat cap, food.

In Scotland men wear kilts 🏴 , not Ireland 🤣🙈 although Scotland and Ireland are Celtic brothers and sisters 🏴❤️🇮🇪
Looks like the girl has some fantasy to watch the men wearing kilts.
🤣😂🤣😂
A true Scotsman doesn't wear panties under kilt, maybe that's why
The kilt is definitely primarily a Scottish thing, although it's not as if it's everyday dress. It's reasonably popular in Ireland for men to wear a kilt when they're getting married, and also in Scotland, only probably even more so.
I lolled immediately when I heard the reasoning. How disappointed would she be turning up in Dublin and seeing all the guys in pantaloons 😂

@@oldstyle75 Just to be clear, Serbia remains neutral. We love both 🇷🇺 and 🇺🇦.
Of course I'm not indifferent about any war and senseless killing but when you mentioned 1999 bombing, no country stood with Serbia when NATO dropped depleted uranium bombs killing thousand civilans... except Russia and China.
@@radule987 I know and that's sad. But I personally did support Serbia. I know it worths nothing, unfortunately. But the point is: is it a good idea to support or stay neutral now, apart of what NATO did more than 20 years ago?

Yeah, just completely different. What is the parallel between Russia and Nazi Germany, except the fact that both countries were in war?
@@draganmarkovic491 authoritarian state controlling all the media, starting an unprovoked war without declaring it, bombing civilians deliberately, but for no reason, very restricted free speech, prison waiting for no crime whatsoever, searching enemies and faults everywhere, but not within own ranks, no democracy whatsoever (closing up on the cult of the leader), mass population not acting on it, myths of the “past grandeur”, denying others their right to sovereignty, paranoic fixation on "endangered security" when nobody wants to invade your mainly bankrupt (in many aspects) state, state-approved war crimes bordering on genocide and full denial of them. Plus: future collapse. You might be right: that's actually even closer to Stalin's way of thinking. Thus, even worse.
@@tomekdarda Most of that applies to the US also. US media are divided internally but when it comes to the foreign policy it's pretty unison. The president of the US has pretty authoritarian powers but I would agree that Russia is much more authoritarian then the US. Very restricted free speech, cancel culture, Snowden, Assange... No democracy, The US has two parties who act almost the same, 90% of Americans want background checks for buying a weapon but that cant be voted in for years. Paranoid fixation on endangered security, the US managed to convince it's population that some Arab tribes are a danger for the US which led to the US denying their right to sovereignty, invading some, supporting some coups, killing some politicians or military leaders, non of which passed any judicial or democratic procedure. State approved war crimes, the US is the the first and I think still the only country, not sure if Russia pulled out, which denies international institutions and courts to judge them or their citizens, countless collateral damages in every military campaign, thousands of dead civilians everywhere. Not to mention that the US has the largest number of people in jails per capita, largest number of homeless people, what kind of freedom and democracy is at work there?
