@@HelloCustomcan’t wait! I just completed the Printify integration with my seller central account. Now just waiting for HC’s part. For those new to FBA/FBM, you’ll need to get a waiver for needing a GTIN (i.e. UPC barcode). For anyone who already sells on Amazon AND sells unique products with barcodes that you have purchased, it’s more difficult, but not impossible to get the GTIN requirement waived…just need to find a rep who understands what you’re talking about. Finally, the ONLY reason to dive into FBM POD on Amazon is personalization. If you’re not using HC, there’s no reason to move forward with this idea. The lead time is too long. But as Stephen points out, customers will be ok with several days for delivery vs same day-2 days with prime, when the item is being personalized.
This was incredibly helpful!! That you both! I have been thinking about doing customization and will absolutely be taking advantage of this offer from Hello Custom! Thanks again! 🤗
If I select the Amazon Pro Plan, does this mean I have to “formally” register as a business entity, even though I don’t have a physical business office address? This seems to imply I would need to register as either an LLC or DBA. However, formally registering a business with the government can be quite costly for a new Amazon seller. I was under the impression that providing “legal business information” to Amazon doesn’t necessarily mean formal registration with the government. Additionally, I had to pay for a virtual address to protect my residential address from being publicly displayed on my Amazon seller page, which costs $15 per month. Combined with the Pro Plan’s $40 per month fee-and potential costs for services like Printify to stay competitive-it adds up quickly.
Super video Taylor & Stephen! I hope to find or see a video that walks one through applying to Amazon Central Seller and connecting to Printify. Thank you so much!

And around how much would you price those at retail (the price after your daily sale)? The prices on Etsy are a little all over the place. Thank you for any help.
Great question! I personally made my ornaments in-house, but I would go with a print provider that has the best rating on Printify. Regarding pricing, I would shoot for a $5 profit margin after costs and fees. I hope that helps!

Hello, I am a pro printify user. I signed on to be an Amazon seller. But now I hear about Amazon merch. Do I have to go through the same process of applying for an Amazon seller store with Amazonmerch?
What those fees does, is that mature sellers that can afford it, have an advantage, compared to sellers that are new, in that they usually don't have the capital, when Amazon don't pay you more than twice per month, which means that it's you that have to pay for the products while waiting for the payouts from Amazon. So it's quite unfair, as a system.
How you structure your listings on Etsy are very much the same how you will structure them on Amazon. The main differences are the main image on Amazon must have a white background and they have bullet point sections too. The bullet point sections is a great place to salt/pepper search terms to be indexed for.

Thank you so much! I am not aware of any limit at all. Only limits exist with an Amazon Merch account - which is completely different from Amazon Seller Central 😀
I have a question with shipping. Since Printify is fulfilling the shipment part - even as prime members, customers on Amazon get charged that same shipping as customers on Etsy for the same product right? I’ll be honest, as a buyer I’ve always preferred Amazon due to the free delivery and returns. I could not even understand why anyone wants to deal with Etsy. Now I am trying to sell on Etsy and the high shipping prices crush my soul. Seems customers still buy if the item is unique enough and for customizations etc. I have payed the price once in a blue moon.

Do you have to have Hello Customs to do personalized on Amazon? Or do you handle personalized things just like you do on Etsy with Printify on the new Amazon integration?
Do you have to pay the lifetime membership fee for each shop you have? I have an Etsy shop and I am seriously thinking about setting up a seller central shop.
Absolutely! That’s what I personally will be beginning with. I feel it’s a great strategy to take what’s already working for you, any listings that are seeing the most traction on Etsy!

Great question! I’m making a note of any questions to create a follow up video to this. Hopefully will be providing more insight in the upcoming weeks 😁
You can only have one Amazon seller account. If you've already got one, you just add products. You can have FBA and FBM products listed on the one account.
You don’t have to worry about this with Amazon POD because you’re creating an Amazon seller central account which anyone can do! Acceptance is ONLY for Amazon Merch (completely different platform and not what this vid is about! 😊)
With how large Amazons platform is - this is minuscule in the grand scheme of things. Being introduced to the organic reach Amazons platform brings, there has to be a trade. Amazon breeds million dollar businesses and for $40 a month and a 15% fee it’s a no brainer! Plus if sellers weren’t benefiting from this arrangement, nobody would be selling on Amazon.
@@TaylorPOD On amazon you are up against people spending $5000 a month on ads. It's a great platform but unless you have a healthy monthly operating budget, that minuscule $40 a month and going to start to hurt. As an example I can show you someone who says look "I make $8000 a month on amazon and I spend $9000 on ads". The second they stop those ads they are back to ZERO sales. Amazon = Feed the Beast
Amazon Seller Central - which is what we are discussing in the video - doesn’t have an application and anyone can sign up! I believe what you’re referring to is Amazon Merch, which yes is hard to get accepted into.
I applied and was denied. If you are not already a big seller on another platform, you will be denied. Amazon wants proof you will be a good seller. I even told them I’m an Amazon employee of 2 years (at the time) which was true and that I do this to earn money for IVF. Still denied. I just read where it says that if you are denied you can not apply again and they don’t have to give you a reason. So truly shady characters stealing designs can get in but not the rest of us. 🤷🏼♀️
There isn’t an application for Amazon Seller Central (which is the opportunity we are referring to here!). Amazon Merch* does require applications and is a completely different platform then what we are referring to in this video. The only thing you have to do for Amazon seller central is sign up and provide a few documents validating your identity (for me I provided my drivers license!).
Thanks for this. I have backed away from Amazon as a consumer in the past year. Prime is not worth it and besides household items, sick of the junk dropshipping on Amazon. I suggest people look at the slumping Amazon stock prices. The business model is played out. Certainly not going away, but past its peak. My 2 cents.

Yes! The integration launches Sept. 1st 🚀😀
Is hallo customer possible with Etsy?
Yes! HelloCustom integrates with Etsy as well :)
@TaylorPOD Is it possible from India
If you have an Amazon FBA account already, can you easily go into the POD section, or do you have to go through the application process as a whole new Seller?
Great question! I’m making a note of any questions to create a follow up video to this. Hopefully will be providing more insight in the upcoming weeks 😁
You can only have one Amazon seller account. If you've already got one, you just add products. You can have FBA and FBM products listed on the one account.
Can Amazon do printable wall art digital download? Only design file as in. Thanks!
Great video, and awesome Interview questions. Thanks for sharing such hot-off-the-press info.🏆
Glad you enjoyed it!
Can anyone give me strategy to get accept by Amazon pod
You don’t have to worry about this with Amazon POD because you’re creating an Amazon seller central account which anyone can do!
Acceptance is ONLY for Amazon Merch (completely different platform and not what this vid is about! 😊)
Yikes! $40 per month and additional 15% off all sales?? This is an awful arrangement Amazon set up for sellers
Done that nothing happening
oh man, is this worth $40 a month with amazon?
In my opinion, absolutely!
Getting accepted on Amazon is virtually impossible so unfortunately this a shame
My 2 cents.
useless waste of time
