The incredible thing is that thanks to the fact that Alcaraz and Sinner were absent it gave others players spaceto advance and man did they use it well,so many young players exploided on the scene on both tournament in Vienna and Basel that will challenge well both Sinner and Alcaraz in years to come.
Draper Will be a big name in the years to come ! Big talent ! Just need to work on his body to avoid injury repetition like in the past and have a longer stamina to come through tough and long matches in slams
Jack is becoming a beast. Not only does he open up the court with that hook forehand, he does the same thing with his backhand. He changes direction effortlessly too. Karen looked flustered, and he's been playing well 😮
All I’ve read all week is praise for Khachanov, and how amazing he’s playing. Draper though is an absolute beast and deserves the title. Still only 22 so hopefully more to follow
Yes he’s still only 22, hopefully he will stay injury free and work on his endurance. He has all the shots. The most talented British player I’ve seen, and yes that includes the great Andy Murray
This match had me at the edge of my seat! So very well deserved for Draper! Respect to Karen, who fought until the end and came back from being 4-0 down. Congrats to both men. 🎉
Jack Draper has the drive, the energy, the power, and the potential to really achieve some amazing things in this sport. Seems to have bundles more nous and fighting ability, too, than Kyle Edmund, who we haven't heard from for some time now. Jack will only go from strength to strength from here, and should be courageously targeting at least another semi-final birth at the Australian Open 2025. ✊🏻🎾
Draper almost found a way to lose the match. Khachanov for almost 90% of the match was playing guessing game whether draper would go down the line or cross court with his ground strokes. I think draper could have won this match 6-4, 6-2. Glad he came over his nerves and won he really played some inspiring tennis throughout the week.
Карен красавчик! два финала back2back ! Реально мог зацепить 3 сет, а там... В любом случае молодец! Дрэйпер тоже классно играл, бешеная у него подача, конечно. финал был супер , хороший уровень
Strong serving by Draper and Kachanov was a bit lost with a game plan in the first set. Usually attacking the backhand is the natural thing to do, but draper's weakness are flat shots to the forehand to create an opening. Kachanov realized way to late and also made some poor mental errors.
Really pleased for Jack. The first set and a half was tennis from the gods. Also really good to see him stay calm during that wobbly part, that's very valuable XP points earnt there. Would love to see him have a good run in Paris now but he's got a stinker of a first round draw. I hope he hasn't used up too much emotional energy and he is ready to go again tomorrow.
I don't know why I always enjoy watching lefties more - I think we'll see lots of Draper in the future - I didn't realise that he's already won over 3 million dollars.
Draper plays a stunning tennis, it's a pleasure watch him. I'm pretty sure that next years he will be in the numbers 10 of ranking and maybe he will win a master 1000
Jack is progessing nicely. He won a lot of challengers, got in to the Top 50 but then the injuries hit. But now he's healthy hes won a 250 and now a 500 as well as making a slam semi. I can see the improvements, especially physically so hopefully he could get a 1000 and a slam final in the next 1-2 years. I'm not sure he has the stamina yet for a 5 setter in hot conditions and theres plenty of other improvements to be made but all looking good.
Draper is like a leftie version of Roddick, except his backhand is stronger than Roddick’s, and the rotations on his forehand are insane. I think indoor hard is the surface he will do the most damage, and I can see him being a major threat next year. Top 10 beckons. Well done Jack!!
Draper was leading 4-0 in the second set but Khachanov levelled at 4-4, thought the momentum shifted but Draper was able to break back finally and win the match, kinda exciting
Lots of people glad for Jack - including me. But that forehand looks like a career-threatening injury waiting to happen. He needs to find a coach who can slightly remodel it to be less wildly articulated
Congrats! However, Draper has to improve his endurance or game plans. If he has a problem with his endurance and he is 2 breaks up, he must not chase a ball too much in the opponent's service game without clear chances....
To soon for that. Draper(22) is doing well right now but so is Aurther Fils(20). Perricard(21) also won his first ATP 500 now. They're all very young and quite unproven to be considered in the same bracket as Alcaraz(21) and Sinner(23) who have multiple 1000s and Grand-Slams already. I wouldn't count Lehecka(22) out as well. He was looking solid before his back injury during the clay court season. With all that, there's still Rune(former 1000s champion and still 21) and Shelton(22 and former 500s champion) who've potential but they lack the right mentality when on court. There are a lot of contenders for that number-3 spot, all young and exciting with huge potential. But Draper seems the best of the lot right now.
I saw this live. Jack kind of dominated the match, though he got nervous to close it out. I think everyone wanted Karen to come back and have a decider, but it wasn't to be for us spectators. A bit disappointed in Karen because the first part of the second set he was dominated and he didn't try much else. He should try and come to the net more, be more proactive. He let Jack dictate with the drop shots too, instead of Karen trying to break the baseline flow himself. For sure Karen could have done a lot better, but definitely the better player won today
The incredible thing is that thanks to the fact that Alcaraz and Sinner were absent it gave others players spaceto advance and man did they use it well,so many young players exploided on the scene on both tournament in Vienna and Basel that will challenge well both Sinner and Alcaraz in years to come.

Congratulations Jack 👏👏👏🏆
Onwards and upwards 🇬🇧
Great show of grit at the end 👏
Love Draper's game. He's also a total stud. Lefties man, u gotta watch out for them.
yeah being a studf ain't gonna win you fuck all
Sinner's my favorite player, but besides him, Draper is catching my heart, such a nice guy, with such an awezome, different game
Why would you favor a doper who plays the most boring tennis?
Alcaraz is still the best
@@Sanctified57 Absolutely, Alcaraz is the future of tennis and he single handedly saved tennis from doping and boredness.
@@jimmyfox writing a nonsense idiocy on youtube thinking to be smart, well done bro

Absolutely incredible level throughout the whole tournament. Top 15 is clearly his place, and top 10 beckons if he can sort out his fitness issues.
Draper definitely has a grand slam in him if he keeps this up. Well done 👏
Not at all.
He always struggle physically after 1 and Half set. Including this final.
There is no way he can handle multiple 5 setters...
Yes he’s still only 22, hopefully he will stay injury free and work on his endurance. He has all the shots. The most talented British player I’ve seen, and yes that includes the great Andy Murray
@@Sanctified57 More talented than Murray? That's a stretch, plus I can't imagine Draper ever matching Sir Andy's mental game.
@@synhet84He is good as anybody right now. Physically may be not. But one one can better physically but can't improve one's ability.
@@HeavyTopspinDefinitely more talented than Murray but Physically Murray was better.
So glad he won this title out of many!

From Peaky Blinders to winning 500 Tennis Tournament. Good job Mr Jack Draper 😂😂😂
I look forward to see what Draper could do in the future! Could be challenge to Alcaraz and Sinner ?
If he continues to play like this, yes he will be a threat, imo. He recently beat Carlitos at Queens.
