With Count your blessings 2006 BMTH won the Best newcomers band Kerrang award.... From then, it’s all become what they are today the best British Band period.
Eyyyy. Same here my dudes. I remember when this song popped off everywhere and then like next day it was gone. But I was still bumping it and havent stopped.
Bring Me the Horizon - The Comedown, Chelsea Smile, Black and Blue, Diamonds Aren't Forever, Traitors Never Play Hang-man, For Stevie Wonders Eyes Only (Braille), Sleep With One Eye Open, Alligator Blood, Blacklist
BMTH always calling out their album’s name in one of its respective track: Count Your Blessing - Pray for plague Suicide Season - suicide season There is a Hell.. - Crucify me Sempiternal - Shadow Moses Thats the Spirit - Happy song Amo - mother tongue Post Human: Survival Horror - Dear Diary
Actually Crucify Me was written before they had decided which name the album would get, so... the song called out the album? Anyway, that's fair enough, I love when they call out the titles in their songs :)
This song was my introduction to BMTH. I think Chelsea Smile has to be my most played song during my teen years, and I have loved every album they have put out. As my taste in music has broadened and expanded, their style has done the same, and I love it. When my wife and I got married 2 years ago, we danced to Follow You, a moment I will never forget. BMTH is, and always will be, my favourite band.
Haha same shiet man Pray for plagues is an intro song that made me start listening to them Chelsea smile most listened during teen times And suicide season is the 1 id listen now when I’m 30 :))
This song was my introduction to BMTH back in the MySpace days. It was huge! They changed a fair bit on each album, the album that follows this kept some of this deathcore vibe, but you'll start to notice the shift especially with vocals
I heard this when I was JUST getting into Deathcore. Chelsea Grin Evolve EP was also big at the time. Shortly after I got into Deathcore, BMTH dropped Sempiternal. They're good at whatever music they decide to make, regardless of my preference. Def world class musicians with a passion for music as an art form.
been a BMTH fan since Suicide Season, their second album after this one, fantastic album. It's after Suicide Season where you'll really begin to see their transition to what they play now. Honestly thinking about it, BMTH has to be one of the most interesting bands to go through their entire discography, their gradual transition from Count Your Blessings all the way to Amo/the new EP is a truly wild ride. And Oli/BMTH have always been so ahead of every other band, really leading the trends every step of the way
Old BMTH has been in my rotation since 08. Around when Suicide Season came out. Alot of people don't react to the song Suicide Season itself. You should give it a try
I personally started listening when That’s The Spirit came out and then got more and more into their older stuff and Count Your Blessings is actually either my 2nd or 3rd favorite album by them. A lot of people think it doesn’t hold up to well but I think it’s an amazing album. Braille (For Stevie Wonder’s Eyes Only) and (I Used to Make Out With) Medusa are two of my favorites off the album.
Been a fan since 2013 , but still love all their old and new stuffs. they also cover a songs from Slipknot call Eyeless and I think you should check this out 🔥 This is the list of BMTH albums for those who are interested to them 1. 2004 EP This Is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For 2. 2006 Count Your Blessings 3. 2008 Suicide Season 4. 2010 There Is a Hell Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven Let's Keep It a Secret. 5. 2013 Sempiternal 6. 2015 That’s the spirit 7. 2019 Amo 8. 2020 Post Human : Survival Horror Sorry for bad English...and I’m from Malaysia 🇲🇾
Count your fuckin' blessings my dude! :P It's amazing to see how much Oli has changed and grown over the years with his vocals. He seems healthy and happy now, and he sounds great - but it's so fun to go back to these old tunes still.
"Very first music video. Pray For Plagues". AAAAAACTUALLLY, their first mv was "Traitors Never Play Hangman" from their debut EP "This Is What The Edge Of Your Seat Was Made For".
Count Your Blessings was the first album, but This is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For - EP was their first official release before Count Your Blessings.
I got the first EP, “This is What The Edge of Your Seat is Made of” and the demo from before “Count Your Blessings” thanks to music Trades back in 05. Songs to Check out from Pre “There is a Hell” Traitors Never Play Hang-Man Braille Medusa (Demo Version) Chelsea Smile Sadness Will Never End Diamonds Aren’t Forever
I grew up finding the Count Your Blessings era of the band, but personally I think “Suicide Season” and “There is a Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen it...” are the two most memorable albums for me personally
This was who BMTH was to me. That breakdown though. I put it up there with As Blood Runs Black- In dying days which has one of my favorite breakdowns ever.
I’ve been a fan since I was a kid. I’m 24 now and still a huge fan. It’s crazy to see my all-time favorite band evolve year after year and still bring in fans.
This is the first song that I discovered that made me like this band 😈 I dont listen to them anymore or their new stuff but this album will always be heavy af
April 13th 2009 I saw this song amd these guys live for my 17th birthday and they just put everything they had into their set, became a fan that day and forever will be a fan if this band. Oli also has meaning behind his lyrics, 2 of their albums are stories from front to back basically
From ashes to New - My Fight The Annioskay - The Tragedy Kayzo - Alone ( Sullivan Remix ) Dragged Under- This Holiday Amatory,RAM Sienna Skies - Worth it
4 song ep right before this album this is what the edge of your seat was made for. Bmth fan since the beginning love it all some newer songs I can live without but I’m down with their musical growth since they have been a huge part of my music life since like 2005. stoked to see ya get into more of the older stuff tho for you since it’s going to be more up your alley with the style of music it is
If you want some old core stuff listen to I Killed the Prom Queen - Your shirt would look better with a Columbian necktie. That entire album is fantastic.
One hell of a way to start the year, hell yeah I'm ready for a year of heavy, hopefully Bring me the Horizon, Avenged Sevenfold is supposed to be dropping an album this year, and who knows who else. Let's hope we get all the best music this year.
I think I started listening to them between like 2010. When they first went softer, I kinda quit listening to them, but I recently started listening to their more pop sounding stuff and I like it a lot. I honestly think Survival Horror is their best album in a long time because its just a mix of eveything, plus stuff they haven't really done before, like Ludens, which I freaking love.
Since 2006!!! My friend showed me pray for plagues while I was jamming bat country by avenged sevenfold and now I don’t even listen to A7X but still listen to BMTH🤗🤗💚💙❤️
That is the BMTH I loved back in the days! I wish they did not change their style... Nice reaction, keep it up. I will sprinkle Abbie Falls - Mayday in here, you wont regret it. ;)

The first couple albums were early 2000s gold. Count Your Blessings and Suicide Season are great albums.
You dont understand, no one was doing anything like this at the time, no one in the scene was this heavy. They were legends for a moment
truly shows how they were always innovating their sound since the beginning
I mean, there definitely was already several bands this heavy at the time CYB came out. But. Whatever lmao
There’s an even older bring me the horizon video- “Traitors never play hangman” , this was released on the EP before the album pray for plagues was on
YAY SOMEONE MENTIONED IT
@@aliceangel03 people need to know !
@@O_iStack Technically their first mv was for "Dragon Slaying" but that wasn't recorded and shot by the band themselves so... :/
EP was called this is what the edge of your seat is for. My favorite off that EP is Re: they have no reflections
Next Bring Me The Horizon reaction you should do is “Diamonds Aren’t Forever” you won’t be disappointed!!
that or the sadness will never end
