Aventus can be offputting when you smell it straight from the bottle. The best part of that fragrance is the drydown on the skin.

The dry down is where it’s at. I get a lot of compliments after the dry down. SMW gets compliments too tho.

Awesome video. I have Aventus and Irish Tweed. I was shocked she did not like the Aventus. I do want to try the SMW now. Creed is a unique cologne and that is why I like it. GREAT SCENTS!!!!
Agree with the woman. Silver Mountain water is best of the 3. Aventus is nice, but a bit overrated in my opinion. SMW is more unique and original.
Dorf I am fairly new to the fragrance game, and was dying to go smell all the Creed stuff (especially Aventus) based on the hype online. I made a point to smell these three specific Creed's (SMW, GIT and Aventus), and LOVED SMW. I was really hoping to be blown away by Aventus, but wasn't at all. I plan to give it another shot, as I've read about the "batch differences". An additional note, I thought the Creed stuff was nice, but the Tom Ford Private blend line is so good, and in the same price ball park. Cheers!

Dorf you’re right I tried to get into Aventus even the other batches too, but it just ok to me. I personally think GIT is way better and SMW is pretty awesome too

It really does though, there are soft/light scents and there are the heavier/strong scents.
It doesn't always imply to the actual performance but more of the nature of the scent at times.

This format was dope. trucks, bulldozers, ups drivers and a shitty backdrop. Al hit the dann streets again with other house samples and make battle of the fragrances great again!!!
At first i didnt think much of Aventus, but it really grew on me, Silver MW feels like im inside a huge teabag but fresh and pleasant smelling. I really like those two, i still havnt smelt Green Ir Tweed. but im sure its good.

All about the silver mountain water. The most sublime scent i have ever tried but the crazy thing is i nearly missed out. I tried it for the first time a week ago. To say i was disaapointed would be an understatement. The scent was gone in ten seconds, no lie it was gone. For some reason i tried it in another store and this time it was strong, it was there and i loved it. Bought some and sillage and longevity amazing. 12 hours :) and the compliments were off the chart
That's really interesting. I never got compliments on GIT because I think most people thought it was Cool Water or something like that. Haven't owned a fb of SMW yet enough to wear around everyone, but figure there's not as much of an association with something else going on there. Too bad because GIT is beautiful. Not sure SMW is nearly as good. Interesting too that she felt Aventus smelled too juvenile. I recall when it was first released a lot of guys (before reversing their opinion) agreed.
The double honk of the horn is the best.
Silver Mountain Water is my signature cologne!! By the way, Cool Water and GIT smell very different to me. Have you tried Aspen by Coty? It's a very inexpensive cologne (about $12.00) that smells 100% like Green Irish Tweed!! I wore Aspen throughout Junior High school in the early 90's so I have the aroma etched in my mind. The first time I smelled green Irish Tweed a few years ago I was blown away on how similar it was to Aspen. Please try Aspen and tell me it doesn't smell like GIT!!
Agree with her, i like SMW better than GIT and Aventus..i think Aventus is good but a bit overrated, GIT is classic summer green pioneer and SMW is just masterpiece fresh scent you can get...fruity, metalic, green and aquatic well blended, you guys Aventus fans should respect that, respect that..
Personally I prefer Aventus. It's my all time favorite. Funny she mentions Byredo and Sweden...I'm Swedish, and the Swedish girls all looove Aventus!
My Green Irish Tweed sample isn't in yet and I'm going crazy.......I want to know what it smells like already. Everybody keeps saying different things about it. Gotta get a sample of that Silver Mountain Water also, I heard its smells great.

I had a very similar reaction to her when I tested these 3. GIT is cool water so much that if you disagree you're delusional at your own expense. SMW, however, is pure heaven.

A woman with taste! Aventus to more 'seasoned' noses smells like a designer fragrance which means geared towards the masses and marketed. Silver Mountain Water is thrash winner here. Green Irish Tweed is nice but a bit dated and not so unique anymore.
It's an English brand not French, they make it in France though.
You gotta cut the smell with coffee between each one. skin and paper are different.
