This is a beautiful song sung to perfection by Robin on lead with support from Maurice and Barry. I don't think we will ever know why such fantastic songs were recorded yet never released. I'm just thankful they exist on youtube for us to enjoy.

So glad you are back. Didn't you get going early this morning!! They wrote this beautiful song in 1998. It was a time when the SNF musical was staged, and they had so much success with the One Night Only tours, so were putting together more songs for themselves and others. It is a gorgeous song. Think of "Sacred Trust." It was written about the same time and gives me a similar feeling. (It doesn't matter now, but a lot of us were counting "You Should be Dancing" too. - Maybe not following instructions?? LOL) I am so happy to continue listening with the community. Looking forward to the next one this weekend. Loved seeing the pics of you and your daughter.

Yes, this song is A potential hit, but only Robin The Man with unmistakable Voice can give justice to the song.
This song was written in 1998 but for some reason did not end up on their album, This Where I Came In.
As I understand it Robin himself ended up recording it for the purpose of the album bur it as said got rejected.
In the same year they wrote the fantastic country song "Love Is Blind". It was written by Barry and Maurice and has been released on some promo compilation in 2004.
That song is truely worth a listen.

Great song by Robin, as I remember it did not get on the album because someone thought it was too risqué. Yes thank heaven for UA-cam, there are many uncovered gems out there. I actually was able to record them and have downloaded versions that I can play of multiple unreleased music. Happy New Year Chad, and I feel too that family is so very important, can be difficult at time but worth the effort.

I don't know why they didn't release it either 'cause I didn't hear anything wrong with it. But, maybe, there was some reason other than something being wrong with it that they didn’t release it. How would I know? Whatever the reason, they're clearly the experts and not me.

Hi Chad hope your new year is going well. Unfortunately I returned from Texas sick with a wicked case of bronchitis. No covid19 or flu thankfully. Buuuuut you just made that an after thought for a few minutes. Wow what can I say? What a beautiful song. I never heard it before soooo beautiful. Robin knocks it out of the park again with his beautiful voice. It's in my library now. There are so many songs like this that weren't released or properly promoted here in the states. In my opinion I think maybe Barry or the kids should dig out these gems and release them on a whole new album. What a wonderful legacy to our Robin and Maurice that would be. Love this!

In 1999, I ordered a version of their album 'Still Waters', with bonus tracks. And 'Sensuality' is on board, together with another bonustrack, called 'Love Is Blind'. I think the record company would have thought the lyrics were too suggestive.
The song was rejected by the record label because of the song title.
It would fit better in This is Where I came In than "Voice in the Wilderness".

Chad, I'm a big fan of what you do. I'm a big fan of the BeeGees. But I have a real problem with playing unreleased material like this, as beautiful as it may be. Someone made a decision that this song should not be released. I don't know if it was the Gibbs, the record company, or whoever. I don't know why it wasn't released, whether someone didn't like the sound of it, whether there wasn't room on an album, or some other reason. But there was a decision made that this song should not be shared with the public. I feel that we are violating the wishes of the Gibbs, or whoever else made the decision. Dumpster diving may be alright for some people, but to me it's a sign of disrespect.

Although I can understand your perspective, in the same way, the record label or the brothers also have the right to remove these unreleased tracks from UA-cam entirely and have not done so. Further, this was a request from one of my viewers, and if it's available on YT, to me, it's fair game.
