I recommend Maurice singing in the UK with his 1st wife Lulu who is famous there on her special in 2002 one yr before he died You really hear his nice voice. It's on you tube.
I also recommend you listen to them on Johnny Carson. Two songs by Robin. I See a New Morning and Wouldn't I be Someone. And Barry wrote the End of the Rainbow for Robin after Mo died to encourage Robin to accept things. In an interview Barry said he sang it to Robin at the hospital before he died.
Also I request "Blue Island" by Bee Gees. Beautiful. Written for children of old Kosovo war. Blue Island they said is a reference to heaven in some Island cultures.
My lonely heart breaks...there's a hole in my soul. Andy, Mo and Robin left us far too soon. Missing them all. Enjoy your vacation, Chad, and we'll see you when you return.
This was another great song created by the fabulous Gibb brothers I love to listen every day 😊❤ especially Barry's 'smooth falsetto and Robin 's great voice ..The song was awesome...😊
This song is so powerful. I love how Robin's voice soars in the chorus. Simply breathtaking. I appreciate your channel, especially the Bee Gees reactions and I always miss them when your not there. Please enjoy some well deserved time off especially any time spent with your daughter in her senior year! Time flies and she will be graduating before you know it!
The New York performance of this wonderful song is my favorite. "For Whom the Bell Tolls" is filled with soaring lines and emotion. There is also intense sadness when looking at the twin towers. There truly is a "hole in my soul." The Sydney concert was so special for many reasons (including Vince playing on three songs) and in this clip you can see the beautiful interaction with their audience.
Such a great song. Robin is simply sublime. Seeing the towers in the background is so sad. Love the live version - the boys really nail it. ❤ Barry holds that note so long!
For Whom The Bell Tolls a masterpiece fantastic vocals from Robin, not to forget all of them,Did you notice the TwinTowers in the background?? Great reaction thanks 🙏
Sir Barry please take care of your health...be concerned on your weight ..be happy with your family 😊❤ continue on your music 🎵❣️ sing for yourself be happy 😊❤ from your die hard fans😊❤
Love this song-one of my favorites. What song of the BeeGees isn’t?? Love ❤️ Robins voice in this song. AMAZING!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. Loved Robin in the hat. Enjoy your vacation Chad. I certainly will MISS you.
It's so ironic that the version outside in NY had glimpses of the twin towers in the background and while the twins were singing and now both are gone. But no matter what Robin owned this song .😢
From the 1993 album, “Size Isn’t Everything.” One of my favorite albums from the Brothers, and I believe one of their best. Other great songs from this album include “Paying the Price of Love,” “Kiss of Life,” “Omega Man” and “Blue Island.” “For Whom the Bell Tolls” should have been a #1 hit. I saw The Bee Gees in concert in New Jersey when they were promoting this album. They were magnificent. Miss them SO damn much.
I love this song so much! It's just so beautiful! All four performances of it were absolutely amazing! I know I've seen the first one where they're outside a few times before. And, I may have seen the other three before as well, but I don't remember for sure if I have or not. What Barry and Robin had to say about writing songs in that interview was so good - definitely a title nugget of wisdom! I hope you enjoy your time off and have a great vacation! I'll see you when you get back!
Thank you for the review!!! The Bee Gees have been the sound track of my life, starting in 1967. It saddens me with the loss of Mo and Robin, yet I am grateful to them for their hard work and never quieting , and Chad thank you for sharing!!!
Really liked that you could hear Mo's harmony very powerfully on the last version and he WAS getting into it. He was also pretty much their band director on stage as you could see at the end. I always thought the contrast between Barry and Robin was at its most effective in this song. Barry's soft voice was sadness at a lost love and Robin's powerful voice was the plaintive cry of someone gone forever. Alan should have been made an official Bee Gee after all the years he spent with them. His method of joining the band was hilarious. Mo..."Can you play bass?" Alan..."No". Mo...."Just say you can play bass". Alan...."OK, I can play bass". Over 2 decades later he still didn't play bass. 😊 As good as their songs were, I wonder if they ever got tired of singing them over and over. I suppose the audiences' appreciation nipped that in the bud. Have a great vacation!!!! ✈🚢🚗🍷
Another great reaction!! Thank you! The Bee Gees write and sing human emotions. That’s why their music is timeless and why so many of us identify and love their music.
Hi Gayla! Yes, that was a very emotional song, and I've covered it as well. Here's my reaction: ua-cam.com/video/tKsNm5-mocU/v-deo.htmlsi=8eCfP6Cm2UsuAA4s
Pure magic! I especially love the first clip with the Twin Towers and Statue of Liberty in the background. It amazes me how great they could sound even in the freezing cold weather outdoors. Amazing talent!
If I'm not mistaken the lady and little girl in the video is Barry's wife Linda and his daughter Allie. Also I think the last video is from the One Night Only in Sydney. My fav from that tour is the one from Las Vegas when Barry's son Steven joined them.
I’m beyond annoyed and exasperated, to see how poorly (for not saying ‘’ NOT AT ALL ‘’) How Maurice is ignored or even haven’t a close up in those vids..! Especially on the 2 nd vid…! Everyone at least is once on camera (Alan Kendall, and even the back ups ) But.! NO MAURICE at all..! The man was the gorgeousest of the 4 Gibbs, and a GIGANTIC musician. He was the G’s sound ! Facts ! It’s was a voluntary choice 🤔🤔 (for sure not coming from Maurice..!💔) it makes me sad, very sad..! Maurice had everything..! Just shameful..! 🙏💔🕊️😭🇬🇧💎
What a wonderful way to cap off a perfect weekend, Chad. Such a powerful and moving song. Every time this song was performed you couldn't help but be swept up by it. Robin's vocals are just mesmerizing and those perfect harmonies were simply to die for as always. Robin did indeed "own" this one and that interview with Barry and Robin included in the third version was simply great to hear. So many pearls of wisdom from those two amazing men. Thank you for giving one of their best songs ever the attention it so richly deserves. Enjoy your time off, Chad. Much deserved.
❤❤❤ I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this song and all 3 of our beautiful wonderful BG BROTHERS ❤❤❤ . I wish they were all still here with us and making more music and memories for all of us 😢❤ 💔
This song is a huge favourite of mine, but I don't think I have ever heard it played on Australian radio. Wikipaedia don't even list it as being on Australian charts. Such a shame because I think it would have been a big hit here.
They wrote this after Hugh died “of a broken heart” almost 3 years to the day after Andy, so it seems only appropriate for you to react to the video of Mike Douglas’ interview with Andy where he had Hugh join them. Enjoy your time off!!
What a masterpiece of a song this is. Absolutely beautiful. It makes me feel sad and happy at the same time. They were gifted songwriters and their musicality (is that a word?!) was sublime. I think they did write for the future as more and more people, young people are discovering them all the time. I love each performance of this song with Robin and Barry doing justice to the beautiful lyrics and Mo with his excellent bass and looking very easy on the eye. I love watching him move and getting really into the music. The band were very lucky to have the talents of Alan K. too. Your reaction demonstrated how moved you were Chad and I'm so glad you feel like that too. Thanks so much xx
Hi Chad !! I think what I have to say is quite important as many are confused about weather The Bee Gees are singing live or not and where. Well it depends of the event. In early days theyre performances were all live; singing and playing. Later they add some prerecorded tracks and effects, stomps... as their songs were different due to using modern technology ect. Sometimes they would sing over the prerecorded track and usualy on shows in studio they would mimed on playback - except when they sings in front of the host ... So let me react to this reaction video with 4 videos of "For whom the bells tolls" you wrote there are live performances. Actually there are only two realy live.. In Orlando (with a little background) - 2nd video, and Australia '99 - 4th video. In studio - 3rd video is playback - miming, and first one from New York is addited video! Video/movie was taken from that performance but not audio! You can see from 3:50 min (better seen from 4:00min) that video repete. Over this edited video, a person who did that, pasted studio (long) version of the song. You can see on part where Robin sings that audio is not in time with video. There are a few versions of the video from NY made by some fans. [You can make one like this on your phone with various applications. (I can send you mine.) 😉] The original live video version was played on UK Singles Chart Show in 1993. They went by satellite from US where Robin and Barry sings live with a little prerecorded vocals, and backingtrack. Patty-I'm very happy to have seen this. I love the NYC version of this song so much. All of the live versions you provided were excellent. It was very clear the three separate parts from all 3 brothers were amazing. It makes you realize that they each had a special gift that together they gave us something that will never go away.
do you know the original guitarrist in this studio song was no Alan Kendall but Slash?..... by the way this video versions are very shortered from the original studio track in cd.
Aaaahhh, there was something about Alan Kendall when they were playing on the beach area. the first entry. Can't think of a word, but handsome. SOMEthin' about him, anyway.....
Hi, Chad: I can't believe you haven't done this one till now. I thought that after around Spirits Having Flown, nothing by them would be of much interest to me and then this one came along, one of my favourites. Great reaction.
Hello, thanks for watching and for the suggestion! Good news... I've covered this song quite a while back, and I'll provide the link to my reaction: ua-cam.com/video/t3XL55pAujM/v-deo.htmlsi=nkqEeNzDlk8wif2H
You should do this with "Paying the Price of Love" Chad, I've seen at least 3 great different versions. They sang together so awesome and Barry could stretch a note out forever, amazing. Next week I get kids running around me for VBS. Kids grow up really fast Chad, all my nieces and nephews are grown, and now I have their munchkins running around. Actually, the eldest of those just graduated. I am getting old, lol.
Hi, Trish... Good idea, I think that's a great song. Can you "share" the links of the versions you like, either here or with an email? Find the videos, then click the "share" button. Thanks.
Chad, this is ONE of my favorite songs from the Bee Gees!!! I loved your presentation of this and you did not interrupt and yak too much. But it was enough to avoid copyright take down. We can see reaction just by your expressions. I understand....some do get excited to state their delight, but take too long. hahaha! June At least they play it back - a tad!!
Love this type of reactions…especially with The Bee Gees! ❤❤❤❤ Toure doing great with your Bee Gees reactions. I just got back from vacation so enjoy your vacation! See your back when you get back!!!!❤❤❤
hi Chad, suggesting this demo "End of my Song" ua-cam.com/video/ZhnAqkL3Rs4/v-deo.htmlsi=nhDfX6OYCKAT5tlA Demo is Oct 67. I have heard that this is the true Otis Redding song, who died December 1967 just 3 months after the demo. "To Love Somebody" was recorded and released June 1967, so it was not recorded after Otis died.

Request Barry Gibb' "It's A Fine Line" video. Choose the part color one. Barry in a short movie as a rocker. Great video.
Also I request "Blue Island" by Bee Gees. Beautiful. Written for children of old Kosovo war. Blue Island they said is a reference to heaven in some Island cultures.
Request Blue Island from the BeeGees
One of my absolute favorites. Love Robin's voice. Bee Gees forever.
Love it ❤❤❤
Robin didn't belt things out too often but he sure could when he wanted to.
This song is wonderful, beatiful love is nostalgic miss You Robin
Love You You was the Best.
RIP: Robin ❤🇬🇧🙏
My lonely heart breaks...there's a hole in my soul. Andy, Mo and Robin left us far too soon. Missing them all. Enjoy your vacation, Chad, and we'll see you when you return.
Robin forever ❤ Love is beautiful voice 💞💞💞💞💞💞
Robin eternally ❤❤❤
Haunting, esp the skyline with the Twin Towers. Robin should have sung more leads.
Another one of my favorites ❤. Robin has the most amazing and beautiful voice ever!
This was another great song created by the fabulous Gibb brothers I love to listen every day 😊❤ especially Barry's 'smooth falsetto and Robin 's great voice ..The song was awesome...😊
I love the performance in the harbor. It's my favorite. Great song.
I love the audience reaction to Robin in the second version!
This song is so powerful. I love how Robin's voice soars in the chorus. Simply breathtaking. I appreciate your channel, especially the Bee Gees reactions and I always miss them when your not there. They still sounded Awesome in the 90’s. What a group They are Definitely part of my Past 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thanks a lot Chad. Awsome song. My fav live version of it, is that in Mexico where we can see Robin doing a huge impressive and powerful rendition.
It's so ironic that the version outside in NY had glimpses of the twin towers in the background and while the twins were singing and now both are gone. But no matter what Robin owned this song .😢
He definitely does x

Actually he did become a full member, unfortunately with Mo's death really that became the end of the Bee Gee's, sadly.
Another great reaction!! Thank you! The Bee Gees write and sing human emotions. That’s why their music is timeless and why so many of us identify and love their music.
Also check out Barry's song The End of the Rainbow he wrote for Robin close to his death.

So, so good! Love these guys so much. Thanks, Chad. ❤
Well the 3rd video is better. I just believe they all should have had exposure. He is not an after thought. I love Mo
❤❤❤❤ Mo is my favorite, but, I love this too.

They certainly did what Stigwood asked, write for the future. Their music will live for a century at least!
This one reached number 4 here in the England, unfortunately no where in the US, WHY?
I mean, c’mon!!! They continued to make hit records right up to the end!!!!! ❤❤❤
❤❤❤ I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this song and all 3 of our beautiful wonderful BG BROTHERS ❤❤❤ . I wish they were all still here with us and making more music and memories for all of us 😢❤ 💔

Beautiful in every way - love the BeeGees❤
I love the Bee Gees. finest group of all time. I miss you all.
Hauntingly fabulous!
I hate that Mo is hardly in the video. Its sad. He contributed so much and is merely in the background.
I once saw a reaction video where Maurice and Robin were called " the background singers for Barry." Absolutely embarassing
Love this Robin

What a great song! I always loved ir - frim the first time I heard ir.

Hi Chad !!
I think what I have to say is quite important as many are confused about weather The Bee Gees are singing live or not and where. Well it depends of the event.

Sono semplicemente eccezionali. Tutte le loro canzoni fanno emozionare con quella magia vocale, che solo i fratelli possiedono. W i BEE GEES.
I love this song but, I cry when I hear it. So I kinda skip over this one when I'm in the mood to hear me some BEE GEES.

Hi, Chad: I can't believe you haven't done this one till now. I thought that after around Spirits Having Flown, nothing by them would be of much interest to me and then this one came along, one of my favourites. Great reaction.

I am getting old, lol.

hi Chad, suggesting this demo "End of my Song"
ua-cam.com/video/ZhnAqkL3Rs4/v-deo.htmlsi=nhDfX6OYCKAT5tlA
Demo is Oct 67. I have heard that this is the true Otis Redding song, who died December 1967 just 3 months after the demo.
"To Love Somebody" was recorded and released June 1967, so it was not recorded after Otis died.
Enjoy your vacation ! See you soon !
