Thank you so much for this video. I could spend days telling stories about growing up down the road from the Covered Bridge park. The pond there was at one time, prior to 1967, less than 1/2 its current size. My father was a member of the Covered Bridge Park Counsel and they had the pond enlarged so that it would accommodate skaters. We had a local group of young teens that we formed into an ice hockey group and we'd spend days, morning til night after they lights were installed. Wow, that brings back some great memories.
Leo: "Why get the bass box when you can get the panfish box and still catch bass?"
Me: "Because those lures don't catch panfish."
😂😂😂
Keep up the good work man.
Yeah most of the baits provided are too big
Exactly! For a Multi-Species angler, lures with a broaden chance of catching Species are the best, I Am Ratman18! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Extreme Philly Fishing I meant that the lures in the panfish box are too big for the panfish I have in my waters (bluegill and crappie)
I'll switch to the panfish box when I want finesse bass rigs for my ultralight. But they definitely do catch panfish.
@@scotchtape_8713 that’s why I fish for crappie, they have bigger mouths and they’re basically mini bass
I grew up less than a1/4 mile from the New Britain Covered Bridge. I lived there from 1963 until 1972. In 1972, we moved to Landisville Rd, Doylestown PA and Pine Creek ran right through our property. I don't know if it's still there, but back in the 1960's, there was a large tree that had a natural and large seat on its trunk and the tree leaned over the creek. My brother, friends and I spent many, many summer days fishing there. The tree was about 100 yards down stream from the bridge on the east bank.
I carved my name in the bridge, right where the beam rests on the large stone base ( "John Schips 1969 " ). Back then, the weather was much colder and the creek would freeze over in the winter. We would ice skate on the creek, at times for very long distances, that's how well the creek are was kept.
That crankbait fish was amazing!
Talk about an aggressive fish.
You're amazing! There is no way I can catch fish like you. I have problems catching one species nevermind 7-8 species. Just amazing.
Thank you very much, Rad EK! Keep trying, bro! You will be catching different Species in no time. Just keep fishing. :) Tight lines and thanks for watching!
that bass is bigger then the ones flair catch lol. nice leo
Lol............. Nebraska is tough to catch Bass, though, Steve Andrews. As tough as Philly, I guess. Hah. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Steve Andrews dap
Great video. Thanks for trying our baits out.
SON! THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR 😂👍👍
SON, Ca Pa! You got that right. Haha. Glad that you enjoyed it. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
First bass proves how over kill most bass anglers are 😂
4lb test and 500 size reel and lands it no issue at all
Cam Caffin we like to catch our fish 4 lb test will snap in bass fisherman cover
Cam Caffin
I bass fish with 4 and 6 pound test line on a 5' ultra light :P although the water I fish in didn't have a lot of cover to get wrapped up on.
Cam Caffin when a 4 pounder smokes one I've broken off on the hook set with 12
Brantley Childree Broke on just the Hook Set?? No getting wrapped in Cover? Must been a compromised Knot or section of line,I found out the hard way...re tie after a couple fish or a Snag.
When you catch larger bass 4 lb test definitely doesn't cut it especially if you frog fish and get caught in the weeds
Congrats on the slam! Gotta say I've never topwater fished for bluegill before... it's always interesting to see what fish are biting. Since I started watching your channel a few months ago, I've been trying out some multi-species fishing and it's a lot more fun than I thought it would be (I was originally of the mindset that the fish needed to be big ones for me to enjoy the catch--I have since learned that isn't always the case!).
Tight lines!
That is awesome, Will. I am super happy to hear that the Channel has positively influenced your fishing style. Heh. I hope you catch a lot in the future -- different Species AND big fish! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Good old MTB slam videos! I'm glad their back, they were one of my favorite series on your channel. I'm glad you completed the slam too!
Glad to hear, GetGronked87! They are back on the Channel and they will be coming with a vengeance. Hahaha. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
I love to watch your vids, it's fun! Especially when I can't fish now during the winter here in Slovakia. I am just holding my new gx2 ultra light here through entire the room, casting and reeling fictional perch and pikes! :D Thank you, man!
I love your videos bro I've been subscribed to you since the beginning Your Enthusiasm and excitement never grows old LOL
Leo is the man! Motivates me to get out and fish every time I can. Love the multi species, and the amount you have caught is impressive!
Super happy to hear that, pr3land. #multispeciesforthewin! :) Tight lines and thanks for watching!
by far one of the best fish tubers, such a genuinely great person. please keep this up and never get discouraged!!!
Your knowledge of freshwater fish is amazing, are you an ichthyologist?
Thank you very much, Brian Miller. I am far away from being an Ichthyologist; however, I do study Ichthyology books on a weekly basis. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Leo that's really cool
Your knowledge of scientist names is amazing, are you an smartoligist
Try the smallest floating rapala jerk bait. Best multi species bait their is.
Thank you very much for your recommendation, Linc craigge. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Great video Leo. Glad to see your back on the MTB slam videos. Great completion and then some. Keep it up
Thank you very much, Joe D. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed it! MTB videos will be here on the Channel for quite a while. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
"I don't care if it is a bluegill, we caught a god damn fish on this bait!" lol Leo man you are the best! Hilarious without even trying. And quite a day of fishing huh? Keep on keeping on
Love the video Leo. I know it’s an older one but still informative and enjoyable. You were fishing in my back yard.
Would you recommend these panfish boxes?
Much love!
If you went goose hunting you would probably be hunted by the geese.
Yes leo you got a sponsor! Been here since about 10k and seeing your growth is awesome
Awesome! Thanks for this. I always wondered about the panfish box. Now I know it's a good investment
30 minutes is a long time for a youtube video, but for epf it is worth it because its amazing
you got so many species there, just love that top water atackes on the crank
i love your vids. always happy to see them in my sub box. your always so enthusiastic, and it makes my day. great vid keep it up :)
The last bait you unboxed looked like a power shad from bass pro... I live pa to and fish the susqahanna river and I use power shad to troll for small mouth and they work like a charm.. by favorite color is electric chicken
I love how excited you get it's very entertaing
like always it was a great video. I was waiting for it, thank you leo
You are welcome, Rey Alejandro Ruiz Viart. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the video! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Great video as always! I use a very similar rod and the same Sedona reel when fishing for European chubs with little spinners or minnows...they work really good !
you are so smart! you know the Latin names of each fish. that's awesome. I love your channel, keep up the great work.
Awesome video leo, im impressed by your completing the slam in such a small water systen. i am writing a letter to send to your po box but i want to send a picture of my best bass so you can show it to my fellow subscibers and keep it for your memories . Tight lines!
Wow that was a great box for you to use.. looks like everything worked. Great video.
I was very happy with the contents of the box this month, Intrepid Fisherman. And the fish on that little crankbait was definitely a pleasant surprise. Hah. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
That spot is right by my house there's striped bass in there.
"This product is not intended for human consumption." Well, don't give them to Jon B. then! HAHAHA.
BargainBassHunter no ap is the lure eater
i had a about a half pound green sunfish inhale my frog while fishing for bass
I'm amazed by your knowledge about fresh water fish dude. keep on fishing. your subs from Borneo.
Love the panfish slams bro!
"let me see how much does it deep and how it goes" lol nothing but love for this channel great video man
Haha. Right on, jakenafziger! Always glad to entertain. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
leo when i use a crankbait, i always cast and pull it just below the surface twice, then wait and usually get a hit close to the surface
Where did you get the mystery box from...I want one for Northern California near San Francisco
Really like your vids, keep up the great work!
always love watching your videos leo
Thank you very much, Lieutenant Spitfire. Very glad to hear that you enjoy the contents here on the Channel! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Ya, i got a top water hit in a crankbait too, i just casted out a square bill crank a few Months ago and I gess the bass thought it was a frog and choked it!
That sounds awesome, Ciaran McCloskey! I was super psyched to catch some fish on top water too. Haha. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
when you hear leafy in a leo sheng video 😁😁😁😁 tight lines and good fun my man
I always use a rebel crick popper for sunfish. Just recently caught a 9" green sunfish on it, I would highly recommend it.
Thank you very much for your recommendation and congratulations on your catch, Lhp9 The Coolest Cat. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Extreme Philly Fishing no problem
Really nice video, congrats on the Mtb sponsorship.
What technique were you using to catch all of those crappie.
When I went fishing, I was using a Senko to catch some bass and when I was reeling it to shore, a war mouth or a green sunfish bit the end of my senko.
Hey Leo!!! Love your videos! Keep up the awesomeness
Thank you very much, F4taLilluSIOnS Tj! Glad to hear that you enjoy them! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
congrats on the slam Leo
Did you try the crankbait in the reservoir? The high water mark looks like it used to be at least two feet higher than that.
First fish he catches: wow omg this has got to be the biggest fish I've caught in this little creek today
i was using a size 4 hook on a 2in worm and caught a nice long bass bent over my little 4ft rod lol
I'm looking for a ultra-light power and fast action rod. All the ultra-lights I've got are bit too soft. When fishing crappie, sometimes it can be too slow to react to soft nibble.
Not sure which Ultra-Light you use, Yusi Liu; however, the one that I would recommend is the Daiwa Spinmatic rod that I normally use. :) Tight lines and thanks for watching!
this video just proof that you don't need to crank the crankbait to catch fish lol love your video
Would the setup in this vid work well for trout?
I love hear MTB Videos Man !!!
Heh. Thanks, Simpsorama50! They are back and they will remain on the Channel for quite a bit! Enjoy! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
will you ever use a baitcaster and try to go after bass
What type of fish do you have in your fish tank
hey i live in jersey and there is this big lake with a lot of vegetation down the shore where i go. there is a large population of turtles. how do i fish around them
hey leo, try some small wakebaits! they run right below the surface! i love them, they are one of my favorite baits, some brand offer lures that only dive a maximum of 6-10 inches!
Almost spit out my water when you roasted leafy lmao
what your favorite fish a as a pet and what your favorite fish to catch
looking sharp with the new haircut keep up the great vlogs
keep up the good work leo!
Thank you very much, Logan Richards. Glad to have your positive comments around! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Hi I am a huge fan I watch your videos every day
love ir video always having epic commentating things to say but o
great video
Glad to see glen is doing good
Hah. Right on, Tackletour Reviews. A lot more people are going to die there, bro. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Did you go to the Barber?
Dang Leo you had a pretty nice day and spot of fishing
Oh yeah, Anthony Yang. I was surprised myself. I knew there were some fish there, but I didn't expect them to bite so well! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Hey Leo, invest in a bait caster! Fishing becomes a thousand times easier! Maybe a Abu black max 2
Santa Of fishing? 🤔 I think yes. Great video keep up the good work!
50,000, 50,000 hope you get there soon!!!
whats's uuuup Leo! yesterday I caught an awesome LGM Bass with you gulp minnow technique! Micro fishing can catch big fish too! Abraço! Gabriel
Glad to hear that the Gulp! Minnow works for you, Cecap Fishing! :) Keep catching them! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
it isn't exactly the gulp, it's very similar to the micro green shad you used on this vídeo :) i have Green and Orange of this bait. It's a japanese one and dunno the name right now, but it's identical
What up bro keep it up bringing them videos love watching them
Glad to hear that, Fishing with gilbert509! They will keep coming on the Channel on a weekly basis. :) Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Leo its JT Lynn! Great video! I'm sending u a few brim crank baits! 1top and 1 3ft diver! It's a hybrid!
Good slam vid Leo.
Thank you very much, Luis Guzman. Glad that you enjoyed it. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Good Times!
How long did it take you to memorize all those names. Very impressive man!
A while, Jon Peterson. And even nowadays, I am still memorizing more and more scientific names, as I catch more and more different Species of fish. Hah. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
i love panfishing funny because my brother is excited he he catches a 5lbs bass and im happy when i catch a green sunfish thats 6 inches long
i was wondering if you could recommend an affordable trout rod? something for creeks and throwing spinners, light jigs, trout magnets lighter stuff
Look into some ugly sticks :)
yea i have one but its a 4'6 i want something in the 6'-7' range
Sam Heaton super sensitive made by bnm rods 7ft and I can feel a 1/8 jig in 30ft of water while crappie fishing
If you subscribe to the tackle box for 12 months can you change the species?
Yes you can, COOLMOUSE Productions. All you need to do is to access your profile page on the website and you can change your boxes freely every month. Make sure to change them before the 1st of each month, though! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Panfish! Woot!
Oh yeah! Your favorite, hum? Heh. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Extreme Philly Fishing I like all fish! I will admit I like large catfish like I caught with Joe from Chatt Cats fishing and myself (next video publish, 25 lb blue). Man they can put up a fight when the water cools!!!
Hey man, is it possible that you could make a video where you show us how to make good knots on different lures like jigheads and stuff. I am new to fishing and already lost some lures because I don't know how to make good knots. I would really appreciate it man :)
great video!
Very interesting video good job 👏
I really like that spiner bait
dope slam brother keep it up 👍
Thank you very much, yourworst fear! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
what kind of camra would u suggest to take pics for fishing
There are so many cameras out there that are great for photos, kayla Thompson. Personally, I would recommend any camera with more than 18.2 megapixels. I use a Sony Exmor and never regretted it. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
ok thanks leo u should be getting my letter i wrote u
Epf you should have gone to the pond at the park where you were fishing the creek I go there all of the time and there is giant bass
I think that leaf was the biggest fish of the day.
Big fan completed the mtb first time sunfish
The first crappie was a black crappie. That's more what they look like in New England. Have a much more dark pattern.
I've caught pan fish leaving a small crank bait on the top of the water
How much do I have to pay a month for MTV? Can you please answer
Jose Corona 15$ I think
I take that as a white crappie, Leo, he seems to have the vertical bars, but it is hard to tell. he also seems to have a more elongated nose than black crappies do.
Awesome. Thank you for your feedback, Kevin Dunse! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
Extreme Philly Fishing after rewatching the video, I would confirm that the crappie in question is at least partially a white crappie. the dot near the rear of the operculum bluegill style is a dead giveaway.
Does anybody notice bass bomb the smallest lures
awesome!!
Thanks, Dhall Hall! Tight lines and thanks for watching!
just watched your scary river adventure you uploaded an hour ago and I was thinking how much I enjoy your fishing adventures keep up your great work! (;
Why not slack lines
