I'm SO happy someone else is saying this. When this ep first came out, I remember the 100s of comments saying shit like "he's not even that bad, wtf is her deal" when he was SO OFF. Sorry for the rant, love your comment 🙌🏻❣️
@@peony8473 Unfortunately, a lot of people still don't understand how damaging emotional abuse can be. Or even how to recognize it sometimes. Fortunately, that's why we have these kinds of characters in media, to teach us those lessons.
With Ashley being present for all of C3, and in C2 towards the end, we truely have been robbed of so many more excellent moments. In C1 and for most of C2, you could tell it was hard for her to get into character as she just didn't really have the dynamic the others did, especially when he's was Skyping in, and we only got to see her begin to shine when she was home for a couple of months and she was getting back into the swing of it, Pike and Grog after hours in C1 is still one of the best interactions between them.
I really wonder what they're gonna do for the M9 animated series. Would Yasha always stay with the group? I mean, they can definitely do that until she gets controlled by Obahn. What about after Obahn? Would Ash voice another character or would they keep showing Yasha's perspective during that time?
@@alexanderstar1998Matt was saying something like animation allowing to see different perspectives instead of players focused narrative. I think we will be seeing "the orphanmaker" in action.
Honestly, I think that's part of the reason why late C2 (90-140) is some of my favorite Critical Role stuff. Ashley being here all the time, Lucien & Trent as main villains, Essek as part of the crew, Artagan being more fun with the curtain pulled back, it's all just wonderful stuff.

That was impressive how it ended up being an accidental moment of foreshadowing in retrospect, the sheer amount of coincidence that happened in Ep. 140 to make it so significant like that is nothing short of incredible.

I love Artagan. Sucks we haven't seen him in Campaign 3. I am hoping we get more of him if we look deeper into the Fey Realm.
