@@bobbyshewan4229 I got Tooie and I should've loved it because its just more banjo, bigger and better, but halfway through i just gave up. I beat the first one several times over (the haunted mansion was my favorite level). Not sure if I was outgrowing the genre or collact-a-thons were getting old but it felt very boring to me.
@@Zastralord yeah, the only flaw with the bosses is that most of them mainly revolve around shooting them and but they were still fun and interesting, not to mention they had pretty unique designs (I mean, weldar is a giant blowtorch what's not to love)
I'd personally count Mr. Vile and Boggy as bosses. Even though you don't have direct fisticuffs they still present tough one on one challenges. I'd for sure call them bosses over the enemy hoards.
Dude I love your style. I used to have the same thing (much smaller, 10mm I think), I was trying to make them bigger but caved in when my family and friends hated them, I regret it every day. Glad to see you'll never cave, even with a bigger audience.
The final fight against Grunty could’ve benefited from a checkpoint. Either as soon as the flying segment starts, or immediately afterwards when you started summoning the jinjos
When I first fought Nipper, I thought the only way to defeat him was to use the golden feathers, a move you learn in Clankers Cavern. So I tried to get as little notes as possible before leaving for Clankers Cavern (This was on the N64 where the notes you collected respawn if you leave the world). So for the longest of times, I thought you had to redo Treasure Trove Cove to beat the game everytime. Once I figured out you could just peck Nipper's eyes, I was like "Woaaaaah!"
Do you know what I hate about your ears Gilly? Nothing, nothing at all! Now be gone with you. *Spins and walks away with a stream of tears sparkling behind me like I'm in an Anime.*

Ok this is weird. Usually when people talk about this game I always hear about the bad ending, the final boss, some poop monster but that's from Conker and like you said the music. When I played this on my xbox one I only played the first two stages until I gave it the only Nintendo fans gets this and I should give up. The rusty bucket and the ice stages actually looks like my type of feild and I have played games with similar boss fights such as Alundra 2, Crash 3 and spyro 2. The videos I have seen didn't really make me want to play Banjo Kazooie and when I did play it I pretty much figured it was nothing special and I should stop playing.
OMG! Clankers stage was so BS back in the day. The controls are jank and the air bubbles are always just out of reach! Still have never finished a Banjo game, mainly because of the controls.
@@otaking3582 yeah, I get what you're saying, it's a weird statement, I just think using Mario Sunshine as a counter-example is cheating a bit since that game is _mostly_ beach levels.
Firstly; Doesn't the Black Snippet count as a boss? And secondly; Can you talk about the bosses in Banjo-Tooie? Those bosses are leagues better, with the worst one is debatably Lord Woo Fak Fak,
The fact that most of the bosses in this game were just over-glorified enemy rushes, makes the game come off as overrated in my opinion. It's part of why I considered the sequel an improvement.
I did always like how when you killed the hordes of enemies for Jiggies, they would go “Fine, take it, I didn’t even want it”.
It’s interesting how Tooie changed how bosses work. They all get a full introduction and a health bar.
Tooie feels seriously underrated in my opinion. Definitely doesn’t have the hype the first game does
@@bobbyshewan4229 I remember it use to, but it seems like most UA-camrs mainly focus on the first game
The battles themselves also have way more substance to them, the bosses are easily the biggest improvement from Tooie

As someone who also has their ears stretched on the large size as yours... I laughed way to hard with your "guess what I'm not re doing?"

Alright, now where’s the Gillythekid-Smooth McGroove crossover.
As bare bones as some of the bosses can be, some of them are interesting evolutions of boss concepts seen in games like Super Mario 64

Back at it again with Banjo-centric content! Love it dude!

Weird opinion:bubblegoop swamp is my favorite level in banjo kazooie
i really couldve sworn there was at least one more boss..
i need to play the game soon to remember
My favorite game of all time.
I started playing this in 2020 and beat it. Im currently playing tooie and i also like that game
nice! I really enjoyed sending that old hag to the ground but I agree. The seasons and involvement make it kinda a tough level to be excited for

I love this guy. He gives no shits while giving a shit.
Can you do a "Easiest and Hardest jiggys for each world" video?
Still waiting for best and worst jiggies and bosses ranked for Banjo-Tooie
Id really like to see you cover the bosses for DK 64 and Banjo Tooie
Dude i didnt even get a notification for this video.
Yeah I’m guessing a lot of people didn’t, judging by the views... lmao
Thank you for calling them plugs. Lol I hate hearing "my guage is falling out."
None the less, great vid par usual my friend

"one of the most memorable beach-themed stages in a video game that I can think of"

Mario Sunshine is more of a beach themed *game*

Do Tooie!
You sound like a less raspy John from rdr
How would you feel if they made a complete current gen remake like they did with Medievil?
Personally, I think the hardest boss is Master Hand.
Jak and Daxter 1 was better for sure. Best collect-a-thon ever made.

Have you seen that Banjo Kazooie mod The Jiggies of Time. I think you should check it out, it really does a good job recreating most of Hyrule.
I think he talked about it once. Either him or AntDude.
Please pin this but I'm so happy you know them as plugs and tunnels. NOT GAUGES
