I love how you’re making a baby inside your body while remodeling your home. Mind blowing! You are amazing and such an inspiration 🤩 I’m following all your videos to update my Airbnb home! Hello! Have you ever done/ could you please do an update video to show how these have held up over time? You did an amazing job, and I wanna know how it lasted before giving it a go myself. 🙏
Thank u. Thanks for pointing out mistakes, big help on what I need to pay attention to because if there's something to mess up, I will. HGTV needs a new show, not design star, not everyone does entire home design, we need a show for projects. Project star! Hit them up, you have my support ❤️
You doing this for the 1st time and making your countertop look gorgeous has inspired me to change my 20yr old laminate bathroom countertop and laminate kitchen countertops. Thank you for this video! Congrats on your new arrival!
I never comment I had to comment I am not a DIY lady but you’ve actually inspired me to make changes. Thank you for keeping it simple and your helpful recommendations! Blessings to you and the family.

What an awesome job on that kids' vanity! It looks amazing. You made it seem easy and your instructions were clear. I almost feel like I could do this. I've watched other epoxy counter videos and always came away going, "yeah, I'd hire you, but I don't think I could do it myself." You make it look do-able. Thank you!
I’ve been wanting to do this in my kitchen for a long time. My home was built in the 1950’s and everything needs renovating! I have watched countless how-to videos and remained too afraid to try this. I thought the best way for me to attempt it would be to purchase a faux marble kit, so I ordered an expensive countertop “Kit” and since it arrived I have been searching videos for inspiration and courage to start! Today I came across your video. My initial thought was, “These are the most beautifully painted marble countertops I have seen!” (Hands down) Followed by, “I wish my countertops could look like hers, but there’s no way I will ever be able to do that”. 😔 I then followed the link to your bathroom countertop renovation. I watched it a couple times paying close attention, not only to each step and the products but mostly your words of encouragement. There is something about the way you spoke about it that made me think, “I can do this!” I looked at your list and added things into my Amazon cart, ordered and they’re on the way! I can’t wait for them to arrive! You have given me the confidence to do this and I am grateful to you. Thank you! I’m actually really excited about getting started and seeing how it turns out 🤗
Oh this is amazing!!!! We are renovating our 100 yr old home here in the uk and we’ve hit the pause butting because we just lost our mojo. But after seeing this I want to get back to it and now you’ve given me an idea for my nail art filming desk! Thank you!! Xx

I know this video is 3 years old and you may not even read the comments anymore but I got to say that this is the best marbling effect using epoxy I have seen in all the videos I have watched. That sink counter looks beautiful! Great Job! Thank you for the video and info. God Bless.
My sister and I are going to do this exact process to her bathroom! Thanks for sharing, and here we were about to spend $$$$$$ for someone to do it for us. Love your videos!!
This is great. I've looked at epoxy companies to purchase from, the prices are outrageous. Been looking at other options to redo my bathroom counters, including painting and then pouring epoxy. I think you've got the best budget friendly diy full epoxy counter. Thank you so much for sharing.
By far the best video on the subject. I went ahead and ordered from your link, because you deserve to be paid for this. Thank you, I’m going to do my bathroom too.

Omg you definitely inspired me to get off youtube and motivated me to actually get up and do it lol. I've be watching dyi for the last 2 years but been scared to take action. Thanks a bunch. Will be heading to the store soon lol. Congrats on baby!!

Thanks for this video. I want to redo my bathroom on a budget and was deciding on what to use for the counter. I'm sold!! Your video is going into my DIY playlist for reference. Thank you!! 🙂
I work eith epoxy a lot, next time when you tackle another surface get you some coffee filters to wipe the surface down during the cleaning/prepping stage, they're lint free!
I enjoyed your video... not just because it was informative but because you were entertaining! Great job and I will look forward to more DIY's. God bless you and your family and congratulations on the new Baby😁
You improved it on a budget. I've done several projects with epoxy now, but with a very slow-drying brand, and I use tons of colors and glitters, etc. In my experience, it's definitely worth the trouble to remove the backsplashes to do them separately. I unplumbed a couple of sinks and even let the epoxy color the sink bowls in one-piece units. But that's tricky. For your technique with only two colors, I'd recommend layering white, grey, and clear epoxy and using a heat gun or blow torch to blend them in interesting ways. I'd soften some of them up with a paint brush like you did, but leave other veins alone prior to the heat gun - more variety. You can also use a small blast of white or grey spray paint on top and then mist isopropyl alcohol over it to break the surface paint into neat cells that look more like natural stone.
I dont really like the effect of the dots on my counter top , I did some samples before deciding what i like best. This is another reason why I did it myself so I can do it how I want it to look.
@lifewithqueenie Girl, you made this look super easy peasy lemon squeezy & on a budget-9 months preggo & ready to burst! FREAKING BEAUTIFUL! Mad props to you for taking the time to beautify your home for your family. That's what real women do! *Lift*Love*Encourage*Inspire* I love it & I'm considering doing my kitchen countertops so I probably won't be able to save too much as I'll need the high heat epoxy-but I'm thinking I'll start with my bathroom countertop for some practice first since I really want to do them both anyway! Yours look beautiful. What does the alcohol do by creating a cracking cell while epoxy is still wet?? Also, should I really remove both of my sinks first? Don't you only need to remove them if you anticipate having to completely replace them in the future?
@roscoe p. Coltrane why bother commenting advice on something that's already finished if your going to at least leave a compliment too? Don't be a troll dude.
@@taylarogers313 The cracky cells all over the counter would have a dotty or spotty shape if covering the whole countertop. If only in certain spots I think that would be too much contrast between the smooth marbled affect and cracky cell affect to mesh well....IMHO!!!
