@@Chilling_pal_n01anad91ct how about you learn with a partner?? That’s healthy and normal to learn what you like and what your partner likes by experimenting together, not being a voyeur into other people sex lives. Everybody’s likes and dislikes are different, people, watch, pornography, and think all this is what every woman wants, and the woman they’re with has absolutely no interest in it whatsoever. That’s why you should be learning about it with an intimate partner that you trust.
@@Ecl1ps3_YT porn is fine as long as you can keep in mind that it's unrealistic fantasy. plus banning things bc its bad for people is violating their right to choose for themselves. you don't get to choose for other people. and lastly this is a generalization of the worst effects of porn. there is such a thing as healthy consumption and there is porn made with the thought of showing healthy relationships in mind. so maybe don't react with a ban hammer so easily.
I like that you acknowledge that body image issues are not exclusively a problem women face. I have grown up being fine with women not being perfectly fit or having excessively large breasts etc and despite not demanding that they look like super models being treated as if collectively me and all men require women to look a certain way while there is zero pressure on us (men) to look any kind of way. And I’m 5’9” which is AVERAGE height world wide (also in America where I live). Have been called short and shamed and told that I am unattractive because I am short and no woman would want a shorty like me. I’m literally average height globally and there isn’t anything I can do to change my height outside of wearing platform shoes that will also get me made fun of for my height or a VEEEEERY invasive and expensive surgery that’s also an extreme health risk. I can’t, idk, go to the gym and work out until I’m no longer short (I have zero sympathy for women who have shamed men for being bald and/or their height that feel self conscious about their weight when they’re able to go to the gym or, idk, stop eating everything on site). Speaking of hair, I personally have a full head of very thick luscious curly hair (and I’m in my 40’s so, always gonna have thick curly hair). Women will openly mock a man for every single possible attempt to appear as if they have their hair when they’re losing it. Wig? Making fun of him. Toupee? Making fun of him. Comb over? He’s getting made fun of. Etc etc etc. but then they will whine and cry and play victim and act as if you’re a scumbag if you make fun of their weave, wigs, or alowhatever they wanna call BALDING. I have zero sympathy for women who are dealing with hair loss and I will make fun of their wigs and weave until they stop making fun of men with hair loss issues. Women body shame men all the time but then whine and cry when it’s done to them and the worst part is that the majority of the body shaming directed towards men are things they cannot change and/or things we get made fun or even more for if we make an attempt to change it. While women cry about things like being shamed for being 100 pounds over weight and wearing super tacky obvious weave and it’s like “dude, just stop eating Taco Bell for breakfast lunch and dinner and get some exercise regularly and you’ll be fine.” Like seriously, you don’t even have to look average level of attractiveness for men to be interested.
Tbh watching corn really made me feel bad that i haven't had a intercourse with someone but i realized it takes time and preparation to get to those things
So that means u shouldn't worry i also sometimes have my doubts but the most important thing is u should just be good enough for yourself and love yourself got who you are
I don't like the false positive narrative that says don't worry it will happen. But like some have said... Focus on becoming the best version of yourself. Make friends and build community. Live your life well. Then if a relationship opportunity comes your way you'll be ready for it because you've done the work on yourself that is needed for a healthy dynamic.
I think the biggest issue has to be the dehumanization of sex workers. I can't imagine how that is for their own mental health, relationships or sex life. It's one thing to be the viewer, an entirely different issue for the creator.
There is very little protection for sex workers of any sort so I agree. I also really hope that as people become healthier they are able to see all their fellow humans as individuals with life stories and emotions.... Not objects.
However, porn does need an overhaul. There is too much abuse and actual sexual slavery, not to mention lack of body inclusion, queerness, and it's often male gaze only focused and slew of other problems. But there has been a more ethical approach to porn ... It's always paid which is helpful because teens should be getting sex education from class and learning about their bodies and others on their own or on awkward dates... not by watching porn to learn about sex. Also Pornhub should just be dismantled at this point
Okay, real talk. What do you classify as porn? Is it videos? Erotic literature? Or is everything under the Sun that portrays sex just bad and should be entirely avoided?
Interesting point. Like, I LOVE when I browse through the "hub" and instead of video to polish my rod, I find some exquisite animation. Like, you may find it arousing, but it also hilarious sh¡tpost you can also laugh at, or a piece of art, which you simply enjoy watching.
Also, I don't think all things sexual should be avoided. More that we do so ethically. Sex and masturbation are great! They can also be used in a way that's incredibly harmful to yourself and others .. and cause trauma that takes years to get over. So recognize signs of addiction and dehumanization of yourself or others. The safe, sane and enthusiastically consensual even if it's kinky is SO real . Seek out a sex therapist (or just a plain ole therapist) if you're worried you've developed an addiction. And diversify your community so you are friends with people of all genders, body types etc. Nothing helps you humanize yourself and others than good community 😊
Intimacy distorted my view on intimacy. Every girl i dated watched p%$n and almost all of them compared me to what they watched. It distorted THEIR view. Not mine.
Without even watching the video I will have to say this based on previous videos. There is nothing wrong with having kinks and knowing what turns you on. If your partner isn't respecting that, and porn is your only outlet. You need to have a serious conversation with them about it. If you can't come to an agreement, it's healthier for you to leave the relationship and find someone who can, rather than getting a porn addiction. I had to and still am learning this the hard way. You are responsible for your addictions and bad behavior. You cannot blame your partner or lack of for it. Get up, get out, do something positive about it.
Thank you so much for addressing consent and the importance of an enthusiastic Yes. So many people genuinely don't understand that a lack of a No isnt consent, it's extremely concerning
It's why I've mainly stepped away from porn. It's so damaging to both your confidence and your self-esteem, along with harming many others. It can even damage future relationships. I'll still listen to it (prefer audio/voice acting) on the occasion, but I always try to remember what porn is, a fantasy. It does not at ALL portray what real life sex is or should be.

Hello! Would you be willing to make a video regarding how and why pornography englobes illegal issues, such as peder**ty, necroph****, zooph****? I esteem it would be a nice idea since we could prevent people who watch pornography and haven't started yet to be as what I mentioned. Educational institutions may well also make use of the above-mentiomed video to show them to their pupils at the age when pornography is starting to be consumed.
Because people are getting brainwashed by it instead of being in a healthy relationship. I'm not saying that they are encouraging porn. But people are people and we all have hormones, it's just that some people kinda get sucked into the websites
I think this is a larger problem like with social media. People are not taught these days that, much like mirrors in a fun house, everything online is distorted to some degree or another. I think it starts at home, the parents. Teach your kids, what they see on a screen, sure you can get ideas but remember to always take your reality and personal experiences into account. Don't compare what you have or are doing, with what is on screen, because that's all curated to look, act, and even sound a certain way. As they say, 'don't believe the hype'
It’s interesting bc I see both sides to this, I can understand how it can damage someone’s perception of themselves and their partners and people in general but I also understand that it’s fantasy and as long as you know that it’s fantasy and consume a healthy amount of it I don’t think it’s completely evil and awful, as many things it can be both good and bad depending on how you view it, I think therapy is just good overall but I feel talking to a professional or your partner about this would help immensely
Because psychologist are now saying that the highest rate of impotent men are in their early 20s!! Men are being exposed to pornography at alarming rates much younger than any other generation, it needs to be talked about more!
It's just entertainment. If you're easily injured by it then avoid it. You're basically allergic to it. Others like myself don't take it seriously and aren't hurt by it at all. Whether it's porn, rap music, violent films, alcohol, junk food, etc. these are all tools that can either help or hurt you depending on how your mind reacts to them and how you use them. They're not some sort of evil curse. Again, they're just tools.
I'm really grateful for this video. Growing up very conservative religious meant abstinence till marriage was the ONLY option given. This resulted in ALL kinds of sexual dysfunction. At a minimum people had terrible sex when they married but it often got dangerous too (see Tia Levings book A Well Trained Wife). Most men and some women had porn addictions. Not to mention the misogyny really made sex a zero sum game for women. Side bar: Ive always wanted someone to do a survey on orgasms in fundamentalisf circles. Im sure the orgasm gap is even MORE profound. And of course the assumption was everyone was heterosexual... However, leaving this behind didn't mean i or others found healthier, more humane and intimate ways of relating. I've been rebuilding what my sexual ethics are ever since. This video sums up many points ive had so thank you!!! Im not really for a ban on porn because i dont think it would work. But i would like all porn to require payment.. and for there to be some oversight and way for abuse and unvalidated uploads that frequently turn out to be sexual slavery ... But when we can barely punish rapists in country, the hope is thin.
I don’t personally have an addiction to porn. I don’t really care about how my body looks. The other side of the picture is some people don’t want conventional sexual relationships. Kink is not bad as long as it’s done safely and both people are okay with something. I think this video is geared towards people who have an unhealthy obsession with kink and pornography so I personally don’t relate to this one.
No, it doesn't. What damages our sexual health is lack of sexual education. It's sex ed's job to tell young people how to have healthy sex physically and psychologically. You're basically blaming fiction for the world's problems. You might as well say video games are causing school shootings. Why even have fiction when it's not allowed to divert from reality? EDIT: The title used to be "Porn DAMAGES Your View Of Healthy Sex." I still see it in my notifications.
yeah like that's the point of fantasy? obviously there will be problems if people take it too seriously but how is that the fault of the media? that's a problem with how someone is engaging with it.
Also, is it just me, or authors of such studies never watched porn themselves? Like, they viewd it, but not as a consumer. Without understanding the appeal.
I mostly agree with you! But I do take issue with most of the porn industry. They've historically been bad all around for the sex workers/actors , male centric, lack of body inclusion, everyone is spray painted and plastic, teens get access to this for free before they've even been on a cute awkward date. So while I agree that good sex education is a big way to solve these problems, I think one of those topics should be ethical consumption of explicit content... Especially as it relates to real images (or made to look real) images of human bodies.
And just because I saw comments... I've 💯 watched porn as a consumer... I don't anymore. And I'm even a bit choosy about my erotic fiction. Again because I realize how it affects my brain, my intimate relationship to my self and others ...
I think both can be true? And it's hard to prove at this point which one has done MORE. But even I queer circles people are getting more surgery to look like porn actors.
My thing with this whole mess is simple. Though this can happen that shouldn't mean that it should be in the back of your mind when meeting someone , unless of course their behaviour obviously proves that it has an effect on them. A person who knows how to distinguish fantasy from reality wouldn't be considered about it.
These thumbnails are getting a bit too CRAZY lately but it still gives you MASSIVE views. Maybe you should LOWer the intensity with the thumbnails a little bit or else people would stop watching and your channel starts to TAPER and FADE away.
To be honest, I’m part of this too but the good thing about it is that I keep it at a bare minimum I don't view myself like my body is undesirable but in truth, I think the opposite which I truly think that no matter what body type you have you can have a healthy relationship at least with a girlfriend, I help people by giving them advice for healthy relationships but I do believe that there are alternate ways to deal with situations like these like distract yourself to by doing physical activities when facing p”rn like I for myself I distract myself to exercise to get away from it which is healthy too
@@fatninjaslob581 as mentioned in some of their previous videos, porn is unhealthy. You can watch it but not too much. As porn will be the only way for your body to produce dopamine. Thus creating an endless loop of boredom and masturbation. Which is not healthy for you.
@@StireyMainthis isn't true, humans putting a camera on themselves smashing and others watching it isn't magically some inherent evil. porn *can* be bad for you, it depends on how you engage with it, like many things- but healthy consumption of porn is certainly possible, just looking at sex doesn't destroy your brain in any and all cases let's be serious 😂
0:35 Cause that is what the entertainment industry including porn does. Aren't we aware of that? 1:25 Depending on what cathegory you prefer to watch. 2:44 It often does, if you don't search for the opposite, what should have similar effects by the way. 6:14 That might be, because porn isn't reality, but a scripted and choreographed show, where those consents were done beforehand. But you should be aware of that for sure. 7:03 Porn can destroy your expectations of intimacy if not consumpted with the awareness of exaggerated illusions that are often presented.
6:20 I had dilemma between asking about everything and going with the flow. In one side I don't want my partner to be bored with questions in other hand I don't want to make her uncomfortable and I tried to find perfect middle. Now I realize I was trying to max the pleasure in my partner but it doesn't work that way...
I don’t believe anything thats in porn is anything like the really thing, like sure it’s probably most real for people born with endowed features but majority of people don’t experience that, so it’s honestly stupid to expect porn like sex when engaging in the real act.. theres a beauty in regular real life sex, knowing how to perform with out porn like expectations and knowing when the other person deserves or is worth your authenticity💯😑
Ive been addicted for a while. But for me, I haven't felt any of these negative traits in a long time (At least 2 - 3 years). I'm still a bit of an addict but im curious as to why I', not feeling these things. (I'm not complaining. im happy to know that my mentality isn't fully crooked)
I wish this video wasn't a projected ideal...unfortunately people watch porn for the same reason they masturbate, to relieve stress and pain....run away from the hardships of having to deal with sex problems. In other words choose fantasy over reality...which is painfully understandable to most of us mortals. Making everything cutesy doesn't make those problems go away so in that regard this video is also porn...because it doesn't focus on what it doesn't show. Like the fact that some bodies, just like some personalities are universally unattractive, some people smell bad no matter how many times they shower, most STDs can't be stopped by a condom...Oh yeah, the elephant in the room...we don't get cuter as we age, no siree.
@Psych2go: I think you should add a content warning and/or disclaimer that video and audio content may/or include references of sex or of sexual behaviour that it is suitable for ♂️♀️ adults over 18+ only... and/or with adult discretion/supervision for minors.
Hey I was wondering if you could maybe make a video talking about artists who draw pornography. I have noticed that many people online think lowly of them which just doesn’t sit right with me. It's not that we should ban it. I firmly believe in moderation for everything. But people can live however they want to live
@ mmmm, pornography has a lot more downsides. plus it has led to a lot of people participating in criminal activity. all for some dopamine.
Yeah start telling people to smoke crack in moderation and see how that works out 😅 pornography is a drug wake up @@fatninjaslob581

Moderatetion is everything
While women cry about things like being shamed for being 100 pounds over weight and wearing super tacky obvious weave and it’s like “dude, just stop eating Taco Bell for breakfast lunch and dinner and get some exercise regularly and you’ll be fine.”
Like seriously, you don’t even have to look average level of attractiveness for men to be interested.

I just came here just to see if people are sad so i could help em
So that means u shouldn't worry i also sometimes have my doubts but the most important thing is u should just be good enough for yourself and love yourself got who you are
@ lol
Nudity is in alot of art, so I'm guessing when they start rubbin and tuggin it.
videos, books, pictures
Not mine.

Thank you, I’ve had a problem with this for a long time. I needed this.
Why is Psych2go posting so many videos about sex?
For the algorithm.
Pretty important topic, especially these days where an ocean of pornography is at your finger tips
Because psychologist are now saying that the highest rate of impotent men are in their early 20s!! Men are being exposed to pornography at alarming rates much younger than any other generation, it needs to be talked about more!
@ I literally tried to do a guy my age (I’m 20) once and found out he has ED. fml! And yes, he’s a gooner.
Yes, thank you. That's an amazing point. I'm even surprised I haven't got to that comparison.
2:23 You do know, that the Rise of the Red Pill has shaped the expectancy of perfect physiques more than Porn did, right?
I think both can be true? And it's hard to prove at this point which one has done MORE. But even I queer circles people are getting more surgery to look like porn actors.
My thing with this whole mess is simple. Though this can happen that shouldn't mean that it should be in the back of your mind when meeting someone , unless of course their behaviour obviously proves that it has an effect on them. A person who knows how to distinguish fantasy from reality wouldn't be considered about it.
So we STILL ignore the written kind? I wonder why that could be...
Wowee 2 whole minutes ago? I love being early for new knowledge 🤘✨️✨️

Men are becoming impotent by the age of 18 because of pornography, it’s such a dangerous slippery slope.
