6061. com I can arc and MIG steel so the whole time I was thinking to myself “how am I gonna stack dimes like that with aluminum” a few hours later, I’m an honorary, self certified aluminum welder. Thanks! 🍻
Honestly, the only thing I could see to improve this, is lighter bands or heavier ammo. If you balance the power of the bands and the weight of the ammo well, you'll have better bands life, accuracy, and performance and less fatigue and knuckle slap.
Omg I've seen the 6061's hands whitout gloves.🙌🏻 Good job bro and thank you for letting me discover the tig welding world🙏 Greetings from Italy🇮🇹 (this comment doesn't contain coronavirus)😷
We used to have slingshot fights in my neighborhood when I was a kid in the 70’s. I lost a tooth and my neighbor lost an eye, on the same day, within minutes of each other, good fun, great memories.
Lots of people think I was using an air rifle, which is understandable. All shots were shot with the slingshot. I'm standing on a concrete pad under a deck, only a few feet away from the camera. That's why it's so loud and percussive. And the footage is sped up to minimize boredom of the viewer. Speeding up the footage increases the pitch, and shortens the duration of the slingshot bands slapping. And cans don't jump and move around so much if shot with an air rifle. Large ammo shot at a slower speed (using a slingshot) makes the can jump around like this. Also, you can look closely at the size of the holes at the end of the video. They are from 3/8" ammo, not an air rifle. If you are still skeptical, that's fine, but please don't bother commenting about it. Thanks
Wooow i didn't think my request would be granted so quickly!!! I though i'd wait too long!!! Thank you thank you thank you 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
interesting, i had always thought that the tig torch heated up the filler rod and dropped and pooled, instead the tig torch heats up the material, creating a pool and the filler rod, well, fills it in. fascinating

Your tig welding is gorgeous 👍🏼 and your marksmanship.
Use alcohol as a lubricant. The hose will slide on easily and then when the alcohol evaporates the hose will be stuck solid.
