Thanks, I have a new 20kw gen I installed has had surging issues since new but only when not under load. going to check out the linkage when the weather improves.
You should have replace the plastic arm at the same time, those wear pretty quick and especially from the steel linkage flopping around like that. Everything in that train of parts needs to be tight for proper running.
The plastic arm was still good but you’re right it wouldn’t have hurt replacing the plastic arm as well. Thanks for your comment and for watching my video!
@@tacticalpowerproWhat do you mean "good"? How did the first bushing disappear if the arm was still good? This usually happens from looseness in my experience. Did it have zero (tight) clearance bushing to arm once you finished? That's how it is supposed to be.
The first bushing broke it was deteriorated. Once the new bushing was placed there was no play between arm, bushing and linkage. Generator started and ran smooth.
