Hello my friend! Yes, you can map the same sound in 2 or more pads if you want, actually sometimes that is what I do because the velocity and the response of this pads are not so.... good and fast as I want so... I have to put the same sound in 2 different pads if I want to make fast fills with an specific sound. Thank you so much for your comment, I hope my answer helps you out.

Good morning my friend! First at all, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR KIND COMMENT you dont know how I appreciate it and motivates me! About your question, Yes, I have did all the map settings and its super easy, you just take the sound that you like and you move it to the "key or note" that you want to use with that sound. Actually Addictive gives you an automatically and generic mapping but its a little uncomfortable and disorganized. I hope my answer helps you in some part hahaha, because my english is so deficient XD. Anyway, Thanks again for your comment, I hope you really enjoy your NanoPad2 and keep doing music! Hi ! I have the exact same setup but I feel like I have to hit the keys very hard for the sound to come up. Did you change anything in the default config ? Or may be I have a problem with my nanopad...
Hi Abdellah! Sorry for my delayed answer. I did not modify anything in the DAW or in the VST, I just practice so much until I get the sound that I want. BUT, I have seen one comment that says that you can change the velocity or the sentivity in the Editor that you can download from KORG's website and some people put some tape behind the pads. I hope this answers helps you a little bit with your problem. Thank you so much for comment!
@@NA-jo6bv Hello Nico, I hope you are fine! By the way, I have the same problem with this controller and I seen a video of a guy who puts tape behind the pads. Did you do that too? Can you share with us your experience after puting the tape behind the pads? Thank you so much, have a great day!
VulgaBeat Sure! I had to disassemble & reassemble the device a few times. The distribution was not even. Each button had not to have the same number of layers of tape. So I tested it, determined which pads are not sensitive enough, opened up the device, put the tape, assembled again... I wouldn’t say it’s perfect though. It would’ve been much better if this was taken care of at the factory. Cheers.
How's the sensitivity on the nanopad2? I have the Akai LPD8 and it's horrible I have to literally bang my fingers on the pads for them to work, it slows me down and only allows me to play at one volume/dynamic. I got it like 2 days ago and hate it so far. I was originally going to get the nano pad.
Hi Jeremy! Sorry or the late answer! Well... the sensitivity is not totally good, I have not tryied the LPD8 but I was so close to get one of that ones. Some people put tape behind the pads to increase the sensitivity of the pads but I have seen that you can modify the velocity with the editor which is in the website of KORG. Thank you so much for your comment bro!
Can you use Electra X and Omnisphere sound banks with Korg Nanopad? I got a bunch of sound banks I wanna use with it. You make it look so fun, bro! Good job!
Hello Bavin! Yes they are sensitive but.... not extremely sensitive like from 0-127 so... I have to practice and practice to get the sound that I want; BUT I saw in one comment that you can modify the velocity with the Editor from KORG's Website. Thank you so much for your comment!
