KRIT's been criminally underrated since 2010, and he low-key had the best hip hop album of 2017. I hope in time people recognise him in the pantheon of great emcees from Rakim to Black Thought to Kendrick Lamar

We only pray when times get hard instead of the good times because we feel like his job is done but even in the great times we should be thankful because what's given can easily taken away. The hard times makes you appreciate the good ones without the bad it makes you take things for granted and that's not what HE wants.

One of the things that I love about NPR is that it really gives artists a space to flex their skills, but also showcase the depth of their process. It also really helps break the stigma that hip-hop and rap isn't full of thought and emotion or driven by more than the mainstream may have you believe, because it often is.
