Honestly 125 is fine. It's not so large that you'll see blues everywhere. You can barely have a full set of greens on, let alone bring anything blue or purple in. It actually gives green gear a use, since before it was quite literally entirely useless.
I think 149 or even 199 would be a little better but 125 is still a welcomed change.
126-199 would be a nice final bracket but it could dilute the player base too much having too many brackets

I noticed a lot of lobbies with gear score under 25 were quite small, this is definitely a welcome change. I like playing without equipment because it's more skill based and it's nice to find some gear you can use in the dungeon, free of charge of course.
Yeah, your skill is overpowered when you play against new players....

Finally, I'll get to use all the goddamn green gear I extract with.
Also, after Yami's last Bard video where he learned that even a purple Lute by itself wouldn't put you over 24 GA, I bought a handful of blue and purple Lutes, and I even managed to kill a barbarian with one.
Lastly, I did try to make a Bardbarian during the multiclassing days, but it was not easy.

Man I really hate it when Ironmace does these shadow changes... I often actually like what changes they made but it frustrates me that they're not sharing this information with us and we're forced to rely on dataminers more then the actual dev team. Just leads to more mistrust :/

Great change, finally f2p and noobs can bring some of their looted greens without getting curbstomped by pubmasters looking for easy pvp wins.
Finally I can use some colour gears to assist my f2p friends to breeze through the PVE.

Hmm, a better method to test your theory would be to load in game, die in first 5secs and just spectate. But I think the theory is incorrect anyway. They definitely try to much players' gear in the lobby, but there's no static bracket. So if you're full purple and no one purple queued you will be playing with greens and blues for example.
Na dude I’ve gone in with a green sword and green boots at like 29 gs and seen a lobby of stacking 200+ gs all blues and purple weapons more than once

smaller map so easier map to learn, easier mobs, 2 bosses you can kill for more money
I think is just cause crypts and frost cave have so much mobs and the maps are too big makes it easier for the ranged classes

I dont understand why the gearscore? Just make it level based. All characters under level 20 are in noob lobbies and all above are in normal lobbies
My first character was a fighter who I got to level 34 before I swapped into other classes. There’s a lot of people who make new characters specifically to farm the gold bag worth about 6K gold from goblin quests. These farmers would be smacking noob lobbies nonstop. Plus if you don’t care about fame you can always delete and remake low level characters. If I was going to put a level restriction I’d say 100+ but even then I’d still say it’d be hit level 100 instantly get stomped in every game uninstall and move on.
@@MendaMeister7 Guess there is no good way to avoid noob stomping, anbd thats fine too. This game was better when it had no gearscore and no soloqueue. Way more intense and random

Not really, now the juicers can play with gear at 125+ and others can start with 124 have better time with the mobs and no players with 500gs running around. It is great change imo
