I had a four year love affair with Rocky Rights.
So funny to hear "25 duck dives".
You can get in a rhythm out there when every wave you catch puts you in the perfect spot to get back out and get another. But.... You can also get caught in the opposite when you can't get back out. I have watched my buddies catch 5 back to back to back laughing at me while I'm struggling. 15 minutes later.... Role reversal and I zipping over the back of my 4th in a row and laughing at my buddy who's stuck......
Fun times.
I remember surfing from 1130 am until sunset...... It was December. So about 6 pm. Famous last words....."Just one more."
Nice waves...best part was mellow music & incredible Sunset at end....

People dont appreciate how much work goes into filming and editing a channel like this ...Koa surfed 5 hours and then came back out and guess what? Jack is right there to film it all, there's tons of downtime inbetween sets and waves and to be focused and positioned to get the right shots is alot of work....
Then he has to go home and spend hours editing it all together lol..... A channel like this would never succeed wifhout a quality filmer like jack ...... Salutes to u dude, ur doing an amazing job!

@@wasabiginger6993 if you understood what my life is like, you wouldn't say that lol I knew somebody would say something like that, I'm not saying they don't have their own trials and tribulations and traumas...I'm just saying they are living their dream and that's awesome to see. Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places in the world, it's like heaven on earth so for somebody who lives in rural bumf*** Egypt in the American south, it's an amazing life to live somewhere like that. It's always been my dream to live somewhere like it and I'll never give up on it but it's just probably not in the cards for me and that's okay. I can live vicariously through these videos and just be happy for Koa and his friends doing something they love to do for a living in a place he himself describes as paradise.

Non surfer here. Just curious why you guys don't go in immediatley if you see that its firing. I figured if the weather/waves change often in Hawaii, I would think you want to get out there asap. Thanks for the all amazing content! #nowavesinGulfShoresAl :)

@@PlayingOutsideSomewhere I met a friend of Koa’s last year who had just moved back to Seattle after 20 years in Hawaii. He said “Why is everyone always in a hurry?” I had no answer for him. 😢😂
We are really luck here in Hawaii the waves typically get better throughout the day. Sometimes the mornings can be a little funky we call it “morning sickness”
I have a theory (i'm not a surfer).
Hawaii has so many good waves - there's no rush. Whereas other places - maybe it's rarer for good swell - so they rush for it?
