Cata Southern Barrens is one of my fav stories in WoW because it shows both sides just getting more and more vengeful off of an attack inspired by manipulation from an insane cult and the Alliance and Horde are so focused on getting revenge against the other that they never are able to pull back and stop. The General even WANTS to stop the fighting but on the Horde side he's just seen as a crazed butcher so that's why they kill him and leave him hanging for the Vultures but if you're Alliance you actually see his recovered body and his wife mourning him. It's some real good stuff.
And as if all that isn't enough, on the Horde side you literally get to make an abomination lego project! Back in Cata/MoP I did that on every leveling alt just for the ridiculous, bloodthirsty giggles. (I don't think that's a spoiler. I can't see a second, Horde playthrough in this specific zone happening at this point.)

Almost every quest is murder for hire.
Except for that one quest where you become the quest giver hiring murderers.
1:40:47 that's so familiar. I used to set an hour or two cleaning my house every couple of days but everything kept immediately becoming disorderly. So now I've sent myself several months of sorting out my house and in return I figured out that I structured everything poorly and that I had to toss out out a lot of junk and even get some new furniture and a storage system that worked. So a few months later I'm still wading through all this work but everything is slowly becoming more streamlined and stable and things don't need as much regular sorting and cleaning anymore.

Interesting. Maybe that's where my Grandpa got the idea to call certain ones, "pissants". Though they also smell like urine when threatened. Imagine if human's self defense mechanism was to piss themselves. It might actually work.
Hey Day 9, loving the these WoW vids it's great to see someone exploring the game anew! Just a big tip, you should try and get the flight points in each area you visit so you can easily travel between areas at a later date. :)

Such a dream of a nostalgia trip. All the various Barrens-y music threads just brushing over my consciousness like a comfortable kiss from someone dear and familiar. Makes me want to head out there, disable run, and just wander around for an hour killing arbitrary numbers of various things. 🤣 North Barrens sounds even better, but this was still lovely.

By the way, I was wondering about your what reason was for completely disabling chat? I am assuming streamer reasons - if you’d like, a good alternative to turning it off is to just hide it with a stream overlay. You can make different chat tabs for different channels (party, whispers etc., there is also a setting that creates a new chat tab per person whispering you) and then if you want to show it to the stream you can click and drag the chat tab like a browser tab. That’s more or less how a bunch of WoW streamers do it. Right click your chat tab to set this up. That way you don’t significantly alter your WoW experience (by disabling one of the most core features of the game!), without risking anything showing onscreen you wouldn’t want.
Day9 wants to play completely solo if possible and as little player interaction as possible.

Dude, open your 'collections' (that incessantly flashing horseshoe icon at the bottom right) and open your mounts that look like gift packages. They aren't gifts from other players, they are part of your account collection.....that icon will stop flashing and you'll have some cool mount options.
Can you add in the description what version of WOW is this? theres like 20...

He literally says that his friends made a guided tour for him to experience certain parts of the game. The ONLY thing that matters is that he is enjoying his experience. If new players wanna learn, they have endless other channels to go to. No one is watching this to learn anything. And money hasn't got anything more to do with it than with his other content. @@MrJacobravn97 no I don't have a clue who day 9 is. Until last week I had never heard of him. I'm also not new to WoW I play Rath though Pandora but haven't since. So seeing that classic was coming back out though Cata I have been nostalgic to see New players try the game. Which is how his video popped up. But your right I'll never be watching any of his content again because he is truly NOT interested in anything but talking about himself and being a complete dick about not wanting any help about anything to to with the game. I don't care for his toilet jokes on a quest line making fun of Rambo and him not having any clue about that. So yeah something a simple as picking up a flight path learning that that is a better and faster way of moving between zone is quite annoying for anyone how truly played the game even alittle.

The infinite drawing distance really ruined the horizons of this game. I just cringe whenever I see either that sword or Hyjal appear just behind the hills. This game used to feel so much bigger precisely because that stuff was hidden from sight.
ok, that thing that lights up above your character like a blue clowd, that's Ice Flurry procs. Ice Flurry is your bread and butter.
Ditch the cone of cold for Ice Flurry and press that shit on cooldown and icelance into it. Also spam orb.

This could be World of Cookie Clicker... it's basically the same, you just click some random icons to see numbers go up. you never are in any danger whatsoever, the quest guide themselves with all kinds of arrows and blinking icons and it all feels pointless .

Absolutely baffling to me than Day9 is completely avoiding doing dungeons. Questing has got to be the weakest part of retail, and dungeons/raids are where the best experience is.
