Hi! Not sure if you’ll see this comment, but did you have to present the items you bought at the tax refund counter? I bought quite a bit of skincare eligible for tax refund but it’ll have to go in my check in so not sure how to go about that :/
@@Chichitodelavida hi lydia thanks for this clarification was about to ask myself. So i can check in my big luggage with shopping stuff and just show receipt at the tax refund counter?
@@adrianstaana8343 correct! As of the last time I did it! You can check in your stuff and just make sure you bring all of the receipts with the stuff you purchased! Also it doesn’t just apply to items purchased! I actually had so cosmetic stuff here too and they also have me a tax free form!❤️ Happy Shopping!🥰
Does this also work with music albums that you bought online (pre-ordered, bought in Won) and received at a Korean address (foreign name with wearhouse store adress)? And then pick it up and take it home with you in your luggage? or is that just for shops?
Hi. I just asked every cashier I made a transaction with for a receipt for "tax purposes" and they printed out a receipt for me. Is that sufficient? I'm a little stressed that just handing my stack of receipts that is 30,000 WON or more won't suffice =/
Hi Fanny thanks for this video. Hope if its ok to ask few questions? Is it only shopping you can get refund? Can you get refund from restaurant bill? And with regards to purchase receipt. If I buy from store and they only give me normal receipt without the QR Code for global tax free would they still process refund? Sorry last question did you check in your bag first before getting the refund process or they check the goods bought in customs?
You cannot get tax refunds for just any items unfortunately! Most stores will have a sign at the counter that says “We have Tax Free” or you can ask “do you have tax free?” Or in Korean “Tax Free 있어요? (Tax Free Isseo yo?)” and they will either tell you yes or no🥰 I had some cosmetic stuff done and I was able to get some a tax refund back from that. However , typically it’s not much compared to the amount spent and it doesn’t apply to like food or restaurants and stuff. Also make sure to bring your passport if you are going shopping as they will require that, however if you don’t have your passport they will just give you a receipt that you can still use at the tax free counter❤️

@@Chichitodelavida Hi, Lydia! May you've been doing well. Big thanks for all the support and questions asked here, super helpful. Best wishes, always. Cheers.
have you tried affiliated cash hack program yet a friend of mine referred me to the cash hack program ..and got $10,000 cash back in just a matter of hours
This was freaking annoying. Supposed to be an Information Video? Make it shorter! If its not a vlog, nobody cares about searching for 5 minutes for the counter. Sorry
Hi, is that $7 total from your 50,000krw only? Or you spend more? Did you show your items the same time by giving the receipt? Coz that's what my concern right now. I need to packed my stuff and seal it properly at the hotel and if they need to see the items, then I need to open the bags again. Please help 🥲
