I've had this particular model for two years. It's function is still flawless. A fantastic way to train at super low cost. And there's enough power in it to dispense Copperhead snakes with full auto use. It does have that capability. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with it. Great training device. Accurate enough up close. And I have to admit, really fun to flip that selector to full and go nuts on cans!
I give it a 100% full thumbs up!👍
I have two of these, one for me and one for my wife, and we've also had them for two years now. Never had any problems with either one, they still shoot great and we do use them often. It's great to able to shoot and practice in the backyard legally and fairly quietly. Accuracy is very good for a BB gun too. Our range is set up at 15 yards. And yes like you said, it's great for snakes, and also for rats in the shed. I put a red dot sight on each gun, it makes a big difference in quickly acquiring the targets. Really like these guns! About every fourth shooting session I take them down and clean them and re-lube them. They've been perfectly reliable so far.
This is one of the best done reviews I have seen on UA-cam for (anything). Bravo!
Thank you... Glad you liked it!
On a warm day, I've chrono'd mine with full CO2's at 520fps, which is pretty good and well above what the manufacturer says it will do.
DAMN
Say less 😒🤫
I've been around the Sun a few dozen times already and have watched my fair share of TV and UA-cam reviews on products.
Overall and without hesitation, I would give this review video a solid 9/10. Very well done overall y'all and thank you very much for recording, producing, and sharing it.
With that aside, I came here because of a posting in a local classified ads for one of these and I was intrigued enough to do some research.
This one video alone has given enough info to make a decision and if circumstances were different I would go pick it up. So thank you for that.
Overall, this earned an definitely Like and Sub from me and I look forward to watching your other video.
Take care y'all.
Thank you and glad to hear. Welcome aboard!
I wish you could pick up one of these because they are really cool! I've had mine for two years and it's still working great, and it's a lot of fun. Hopefully you can get one sometime, and be aware, it's a pretty heavy gun just like the weight of a real AR-15.
Looks like a heck of a lot of fun.
great vid covering salient points..just a note couple of guys have opened up the seal that the bb enter after exit from the mag...they noticed the bb were to tight and prone to jamming so put a drill bit carefully through the breech seal just enough to let the bb run through unhindered... also the bb are a fraction high in the mag so occasional the hit the inside of the mag exit hole denting the bb ,making it to tight to exit! jam ups are potentially very damaging to the blow back as it multiplies the speed the hammer returns ..so the moment it jams dont fire another round till its cleared.
Thanks for the treadmill lube tip.
Just pick this up at the pawn shop for 95 and watching all these videos for knowledge.
Lol same here
Thanks for the heads up on the silicone. Just ordered some.
Subscribed as well.
Welcome aboard!

I want to get it for training, great review 🙌🏼
hi mine broke could you do strip down rebuild vid of fire control part much apreciated
Should I get this or the Crossman R1?
The stock is modeled after the Magpul UBR stock.
I just got one. It came with a magazine spring that was broke and so I ordered a new magazine. I’m gonna send the old magazine back and see how they’ll treat me but they did send me another one which I paid for. I’m gonna send the bus one back, but I haven’t even shot it yet and I’m looking forward to it. I’ll be home tomorrow.
@JonathanThornton-re1xv Just call Crosman. They would probably just send you one. They've helped me a couple of times, no charge.
I just received the SBS BB Gun. Unfortunately , I cannot get the gun to shoot one shot at time ??? Am I doing something wrong. ?
Either button selector I choose , the gun just keeps firing. Ugh
Do you know how to make this full auto? In the UK it comes as just semi and the full auto is blocked from working. What have they done to stop it going full auto? Asking for a friend 👀
Look inside the fake muzzle end thing carefully and you'll see it does have functionality as an air stripper. I had this gun for a year before I finally noticed it. And that may well be why it shoots so straight for a BB gun. Some pellet rifles also have air strippers built in or installed.
Yeah it is also removable which is pretty cool. And do you happen to know the rail size on the gun?
@@Slaughter_to_Prevail_is_cool I’m not sure of the measurements and if I was at home I would get it.. but it’s the standard size picatinny rail just like on any firearm or ar-15, so any ar-15 accessories will fit
Copperhead bbs Leave lots of copper dust. I highly recommend the silver zinc coated Daisy bbs No dust whatsoever, no jamming.
I've had one for several years. Works well. Only thing is the mag doesn't have a spring catch. You need the special loader that comes with it to load your bbs. It's a tedious process and my loader broke. I've tried the high capacity mag they sell for it and it jammed all the time. Does anyone know if the mags they make for the R1 have a spring catch ?
my one does indeed
is it full metal?
Can you manually hold the bolt open with the bolt release and is there a barrel extender mock supressor to make it look not so stubby?
Any Airsoft 14mm ccw accessory will fit the SBR
And look really cool.
Yes, operating the lower part of the bolt release while charging holds the bolt open as with an AR.
How rounds in mag or does it have a dump?
25 ish per mag. There is a hi capacity version that can be purchased for more funsies.
You really need to show us if both CO2 cartridges actually emptied. I have 3 magazines and none of them actually work correctly. Meaning it only uses the cartridge on the left. And when I go to replace the left cartridge, the one on the right side gasses out. At that point its useless to change the right side one and just replace the left one, and leave an empty one in the right side. I have a solution though. I plan on marketing it to users of the DPMS SBR. It not only corrects for and eliminates the C02, But is also upgrades the unit to 1100 psi PCP air(vs 900 psi CO2). Its a great adaptor. Easy to install, and upgrades to 13 cubic inches of air. Now it really cranks.........I plan on launching sales sometime in 2024 or early 2025. I still need to work out a few logistics first, and launch the LLC. I figure there are around 1 - 2 million of these guns out there that need this mod.
I'd like to place an order!
@@mbsly1 still in product development, hang in there...
Me and my son love it but I wish the mags wouldn't leak so much
Use needle nose pliers on the back peg of (where the primer would be) the magazine at the top. Just try a 1/2 or 1/3 turn but it should seal up a bit. I've been worried about mine for a bit but 2 years of use on one mag it's going alright. I also use hoppe's gun oil on the buffer tube & bolt mechanism occasionally.
Sorry for the info dump but these are decent air rifles if you take care of them 👌🏽
[Edit: look into GBBR & HPA maintenance, I don't play but I learned allot that helped with Co2 guns]
3:00 Smoke coming out the barrel because the BB is smoking hot.
I shot steel daisy bbs out of one just fine no malfunctions whatsoever 😂
is it powerful enough for hunting though?
god no , its a plinker
@@Plastic_Paddywhat about birds and squirrels/ smaller game?
No m8, not if you want a clean kill. For a more powerful uk legal alternative, look for the umarex m4 break barrel.
Or get an old school style of which there are loads at near this price point.
@@Plastic_Paddy Do you anything about America? I’m not from uk
3:32 poor little BB didnt manage to join he's friends flying, it just fell down to the ground.. maybe someday it will be picked up, recycled into something else, and then recycled again and again and again and again and again, until it becomes a new BB and gets a second chance at being sendt into oblivion, atleast from the bb's perspective.
nice gun tho, think im getting one.
Crossman could do better on the BB capacity. 25 bb rounds is not enough that's a joke. They should have an extended magazine option or find a way to hold and shoot at least 40 to 50 bb rounds. 25 bbs does not cut you'll go thru them in few seconds in full auto so what's the point?
It’s a restriction put in place for the CO2 canister. If it had 30+ capacity the CO2 would run out and freeze the entire gun.
Edit: not freeze the entire gun. That was a goofy way for me to say it. The CO2 canister would freeze and the gun wouldn’t perform as well.
Umarex Thompson M1A1 full auto is cooler. Plus the Thompson pretty enough to mount on your wall or on a table stand in your den or office.
The Gun is cool but the mag is the worst than i could see!
I've taken apart the Valuve and Managed to bump up the to 756 fps.
and it's a Blast.
Any instructions on what exactly you did? I’d be interested in trying that upgrade
@@garethmccaig8674 Get yourself a cheap Dremel
and a Conical diamond bit
next get the Mag. you'll see 2 pit holes behind the Valuve I forgot the name of the tool but you'll know
next I think it's counter clockwise
be careful it's spring loaded.
next you'll see a alloy metal tube
the end thats pointed towards the BB
is the part you want to bore out with the Dremel.
now comes the tricky part
🧐you'll noticed it's Restricted on that end
now you're going to open it up to 4 mm. 600 fps or 4.6mm 750/800 fps. NOTE!! to all European Ver.of the DPMS.
they use a Diff. alloy tube
now at 3 sec. intervals bore out the tube but dont let it get too hot or you.ll crack the tube. and you'll cry like a Bitch😪
once done put back together no metal dust in valuve
and Congrats. you now Have a very powerful PDW.
and small game Rifle.
and watch your Backstop.
Cheers.👍
@@garethmccaig8674 OH! one more thing you're Sac. Mag. count for Power so instead of 6 mags. you'll get 3 to 4 mags.
@@joseglenn20 Thanks for that mate, much appreciated 👍🏻
@@garethmccaig8674 Anytime Pal .
now the MPX now with Crosman Fast Flights 660 fps. or the Canebrake
845 fps. or the AP4 560 fps. with the mod. Mag.
I'm the Mad Tuner😈👹👹
Never use Copper BB's the Ambeint Moisture will rust the inner Barrel.
not true you just don’t clean your rifle and oil it
@@nobodyhatred That's Bull i've had my R1 foy 6 yrs. it's very Clean and over 300.00 worth of toys on it Plus i've bump up the power on to 780 fps. but can only go through 2 Mags
before need Co2. do you need the Mod ??

@@joseglenn20 I don't understand English well, could you make a video with your mods?
