I boil 1 hr with salt. Top off water add seasoning, boil 1 hour longer. Soak for 1 hour. Perfect every time. I've never spent 6,7,8 or more hours on a pot of peanuts. Everybody's different. I enjoy your content. Stay safe and well 🙏
Hey there from southern Brazil, city of Florianópolis. Look it up, you'll love it. We get green peanuts down here all year long but I've never tried boiling them and oh boy their hot bath takes ages hehehe It must taste heavenly. You got a new subscriber, bro.
Great video...as all of your is!! I started with some dry peanuts the other day and thought I was going to have a daggum birthday before they got right!!! I had brought them up to a hard boil then down to a simmer for what I thought would be 2/3 hours.....should I have left them at a hard boil? Thanks for all you do and I appreciate you!!
Could you put a link to your buddys page so I can buy a pot please sir? Great video by the way, I appreciate how you actually describe what your doing and not just tossing things in randomly and expecting us to know what it is and the cooking times. Over rated Ramsey doesnt tell you anything and it is annoying.
Hey John! Yes I just recently started this channel primarily to house shorts and left over content from my main channel. Eventually once I get enough subscribers I will also be doing live feeds as well. Glad you found the channel!
@@smokyshorts ok…cool….I wasn’t sure what exactly I was seeing, so I didn’t sub, but will go back and do that now. Ha…..I didn’t even know I was shiggin’ off ya….lol.
Yes, raw are actually dried but not cooked. You can either roast them, or boil them, but they take forever. Green peanuts are fresh out of the grown and boil way much faster
My wife is from Mississippi and never heard of boiled peanuts until mine in GA, keep telling folks how to make them wrong though keeps me in business.😂🥜🔌
@@9shotsonly The key takeaway from my comment was not where my wife is from, but rather that the peanuts are not being made correctly. But please tell me more about the trend I've popularized... Also ask stalekracker or any other real Cajun person if they make boiled peanuts, they'll laugh. 😂
Where can i get one of those things to hold down the peanut?

Never had boiled peanuts. They sell em in the can at my Walmart, but canned stuff usually sucks. I don't wanna ruin the experience.
Canned boiled peanuts suck…..too many chemicals…..yuk. Homemade are the best!
I would say try them but if you don't like it definitely try real one day
I loved boiled peanuts they look really good I've always like watching you videos
Thank you, glad to hear that!
When will this be available to the public ??? Their website doesn’t seem to be working
I have a bag of roasted peanuts that are too hard to bite thru. How can I soften them up without boiling? Thanks! Jim

Cajun Rocket Pot is no longer in business but you can get a high performance pot from “high performance cookers”.
Where do you buy the pot at and what size
Have you ever tried doing this with Cashews?

Damn you got me hungry for peanuts
I like that pot because I like to steam my vegetables
Should boiled peanuts be actually mushy?
Your choice, prefer mine a little hard
Would it help to crack the shell a little bit before you boil them?
No, it will make the nut too mushy and soft. I like mine Firm and soft( not too soft or mushy )
So raw and green are different
