- One of my best friends Matt Hill @matt_h1ll has what I consider the World's Best Boiled Peanut recipe. He invited me to his home to check it out and learn how to put it all together myself. My buddy James jimmyfrank85 comes in town from VA and he helps us finish at Matt's. We end the day with some shenanigans.
Recipe: 35 lbs jumbo peanuts, lemons, Florida Seafood Seasoning, garlic, Melinda's hot sauce, hobenero peppers, and Busch Light mixed, boiled, settled, enjoyed! (Follow Matt's directions in the video for best results, minus the gravy mix and jerk seasoning). THESE ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST BOILED PEANUTS I HAVE EVER HAD! Boiled peanuts would be more popular in the USA if they weren't called "boiled peanuts", which conveys soggy unroasted peanutty mushiness. They need a name like "skitterlins" or "wildbean".
Where I come from they just called 'balled peanuts'. 'Sides that, you don't want to eat no hairy peanuts. The best balled peanuts are them Big South Carolina White peanuts.

Im making some right now! Have never had them before but I used, fresh garlic, bay leaves, salt, dried peppers, and cayane pepper! Lets see how they turn out!

That is the best brand of Low Country Boil seasonings we have ever tried. Made around Tampa, Fla.......FLORIDA Crab and Shrimp Boil!!!

Hi How much salt he put on this recipe? Do this peanuts are very spicy?? Since I see lot of different hot ingredients. What about the temperature do you keep it on high all the time? Thank you so much
currently making cajun peanuts in PA. I finaly found raw peanuts in pennsylvania after living in florida for 10 years. I grew up in PA the south made me addicted to boiled peanuts. BTW. This state is RED.

I know this is an old comment, but, where you get your raw peanuts? I'm a transplant, myself to Central PA, can't find them locally, really. You get them at a Farmer's Market or something?

Im in east TN. Never seen FL seasoning but their boiled peanuts are the best. May have to look online for it

In Louisiana, we untie that bag, we never cut it. Use plain salt not iodized salt and use Lousiana seasonings not Florida seasonings
