I’ve been watching you since I was in middle school I now have my own child and I think all of my credit as an artist goes to you and all the compliments I ever got in school because if I was confused on how to do something I would run through your videos and find it and now I run through your videos to find doodles to do ❤ love you thanks so much for all the years

I think this is the only time I caught Mark during the hour or so when he uploaded. I used to watch the how to draw eyes videos 13 years ago!
His intro is still kinda the same. Amazing. feels like Mark never got older.

Hi there. I just wanted to say I’ve always loved your channel. You’re the reason I started drawing as a kid (about 10 years old). After being in a hard spot for a few years I found your channel again (I’m now 21) and you’ve gotten me out of that tough spot and have helped me find my love for drawing again.

Hello Mark. I’ve been watching your videos for many years now. They have helped me get better at drawing. I’m working on a Star Wars comic for myself and your advice videos were a great help. Thank you! I wish you all the best.

My daughter is currently reading "The drawing Lesson" and both she and I love the way you crafted the story with the lesson. Well done!

I was just drawing glasses last night! I've never actually tried drawing the temples first, and that seems like a great idea! I always struggle to try add them later and make it seem like it works. So I'll try keep that in mind next time for sure.
Seeing the lens placement for the eye further away was also very helpful! I feel like I always draw it too close. And I really appreciate the demonstration and example of little details for these! I like to switch between the "manga style" of glasses kind of disappearing around the eyes so you can see them, and just letting the glasses cover the eyes and seeing more detail of them. And white highlights always really helps it look like the lenses are there for me!

This is such a nice drawing and a helpful video! Do you have any advice for portraying how the face refracts under the eyeglass, especially depending on if they're for near-sighted vs far-sighted people (obviously not applicable to fashion-glasses/purely cosmetic glasses)?

IDK if selling enough books is an issue for your Mark, but offering per se a 10% discount on your books through a link in the description, to those watching the video, could be a great and non cheesy way to boost the amount of books sold. Just a thought. Love your content btw, your way of teaching and at the same time entertaining with humour is superior. Your videos sure served me well, just like the eye in the video. 😂

This is awesome! Always love to see your how-to drawings. Since, you have a new graphic novel, are we gonna see some videos of you drawing the characters, like you did with Miki Falls back in the day?

Another "fidgety detail" is that since glasses bend light, the eyes and face behind them will often appear displaced.

nice video. results would have been even better if a little more care was taken to get the original rectangle's perspective correct, and then to maintain it throughout the drawing of the parts. a bit off...

I haven't watched you in a very long time. But you seem to still be the same kind of respectable, lovable, good teacher, drawer and person. No actually you have improved on all parts. But you still have the same kind of humor, which has not improved, but stayed the same, which is good. I do respect you a lot😊...
...🙂😐🙁😠but then at the end of the video, I realized, that you did not give the girl blushes. I am so disappointed in you. You are a complete sellout. How can your ego be this big. You are not the same person at all. I can't believe that I ever respected you.😡
(That last part is a joke by the way😉😉)
