It's easy and cost effective for sure.. however with the fact that the Chinese government provides the cartels with the most fentanyl/meth precursors by an astounding level? It'd be easy for for them to send them cheap Chinese surplus AKs which they have been doing for much of Mexico, Africa, and other unstable regions.
You're not wrong with the current state of affairs for sure... But hypothetically if every gun was disappeared in America by tomorrow? Chinese, Venezuela, and plenty of other shifty countries will continue to supply Mexican cartels with workable weapons.

Very similar to Italian Americans. Yet they get ots of shit just like the Italian Americans from the 1930s onwards till the late 70s due to a very similar reason...
I'm on Trump's side in that the southern border should be secured.... But many of the people that make that dangerous trek , legal or not are very good people just looking for a way out.

This actually happened to one of my co-workers families and someone ended up getting assassinated all the way in Fort Worth Texas. She was a relative of Don Alejo and had inherited some of the property but she wouldn't comply with the cartel because she thought she was safe all the way in North texas. They waited until she put her kids on the bus in the morning and then assassinated her in her front yard in broad daylight. My coworker had barely gone down the street after pulling out of her driveway before everything went down and she didn't find out until she got home and she heard from her neighbors

The cartels aren't to be messed with. I used to go to a bar in Mexico a lot and I would tip often to keep people on my side should something go down. One night, I was called to follow the manager and he entered the bathroom and motioned me to come in. There were 2 armed guys guarding the doors so nobody else could enter. It scared me but I went in and saw 4 more armed guys in there. They had some serious lines of coke laid out and just pointed at it and said, "free". I very politely declined and was told it was a gift from Sinaloa. I think the cartel owned the bar. I quit going after that and was glad I got out without offending anyone. I stay out of Mexico now.

Let me just say this. We on both sides feel for all these people. I'm conservative and have friends who were deported after high school. The right side in America feels and wants to help the Mexicans who have to deal with this. Ofcourse we do. BUT alot of terrorists from other countries use the cartels and do the same. THAT is WHY we don't want open borders. We want the good people who just want help to come, but if we had closed borders, then all the bad people would have to come through a port of entry. Amen 🙏 ❤
