- Long time no post! I should be back for a bit with this new release! Just a big fat space weapons platform to kill your planetary foes.

the most overcomplicated and no doubt the coolest way to have the drop on your foes, it looks like a completely normal space station until someone gets on your bad side- wait, nevermind they dont exist anymore. false alarm!

Amazing. Keen should sticky all of your builds in their Community Spotlight. Nothing makes this game look cooler than what I've seen you make. Seeing something like this work in SE is both an offering to Lord Klang and a testament to your design skills, patience and willpower.
It would be neat. I just use SE to build stuff that floats around my head.

It's still one of my favourite 'new weapon' mods. So much variety, engineering, and effort goes in to making a good one for your grids!

Not gonna lie, this feels like something out of Planetary Annihilation or War for Cybertron, the unfolding sequence alone is just gorgeous, props to you for knowing the right prayers to Clang so he didn't destroy this.

i was thinking just that, and honestly the particle cannon really puts the ion cannon to shame, since the particle cannon can move between base buildings and units
@@Mamorufumio The Ion Cannon is like a Hammer while the Particle Cannon is a Scalpel, one is used with precision while the other is used to flatten "nails."

Space Engineers is a game I played a bunch of a while back and enjoyed. Then I ran into what I imagine a lot of people do with performance issues and limits you have to force yourself to stick to in order to avoid them. I would love to see an updated version of SE in a modern engine. Just the thought of it keeps me hoping. The community doing things like this in what we have is always mind blowing.

This very creation reminds me of the Particle Uplink Cannon from Command & Conquer: Generals from back in the day - except it's basically JUST a space laser, rather than a giant beam bounced off a satelite, hah

So much power and resources required for such a weapon with very little results. You might as well make a nuke instead. This is why I don't like the idea od lasers.

I hope this spurs someone into actually fixing the 2cm mod, because in concept that mod is amazing. Would be cool if it also chucked voxels maybe at certain dmg thresholds? Would requires advanced scripting I imagine and that's way outta my wheelhouse, lol.

Your stuff is always really amazing and I can't imagine how long it took. I really enjoy space engineers but I wish there was a genuine reason to build these things besides the challenge.
