    Thanks for the breakdown - great content. In case you are interested in feedback of your technical production: I think your videos could be much more effective if you work on your speech delivery and inflections. Your lines are currently quite monotonal with strange inflection points. Add a bit of pace, fluidity and correct inflections and this channel will be 🔥. Once again thanks for the content and I think Philly will take Tristan at 16.

    If I were to bet on a late riser it would be this guy, could see him going 12 or 13 if the thunder or kings are high on him. The height in combination with his shot and passing is intriguing even if he might not have much primacy.

      He’s put himself into lottery conversations, so that deserves a lot of credit. If anything, the Lakers at 17 might be a safe landing spot. I’m in that 15-22 range with him right now more or less

    Great breakdown. I personally love the 3 and D guys because every team needs one. A lot of guys are bust because they can't play off of players that are better than them

    Not a spectacular player but I think he's a pretty safe bet to be a good role player. Very steady good shooter who tries defensively and is a decent rebounder. The real question for me can he grow into a rotational player in the playoffs. Right now I'd project him as a very useful regular season rotational player who gets clipped as his team goes to a smaller playoff rotation.

      I'm with you. I'm not drafting Da Silva for crazy potential or a super high-end outcome, but I'm comfortable with the idea of who he is now and what he projects to be.
      Cracking a playoff rotation as a rookie is tough for anyone, so I see what you're getting at. But coming into the NBA at 23, the goal definitely has to be for Da Silva to show at least some playoff flashes in year 2 imo.

    Good player, already mature (23 years old) who can contribute from day one to the team that selects him. Possibly he will never be a star, but a good role player.
    Not only is he a good 3 point shooter, he knows how to use both hands, he goes to the basket well, moves with a good IQ without the ball and seems to have some passing ability.
    He lacks a little more physicality and a little better defense, but if he improves on those aspects he could even play the 4 in the future.
    I see him from 15 to 25 in the draft.

    • @FloorandCeiling
      @FloorandCeiling  Місяць тому +3

      One of the most important things for me with Da Silva is his ability - or right now, inability - to play the 4 in the NBA.
      If he can do that, he becomes a lot more valuable, especially when combined with his three-point shooting and solid all-around decision making. Hopefully, he does that quickly because he's 23 (which is not that old, but it's "old" for a rookie).
      I have Da Silva more in my 20-25 range, simply because I usually prefer younger prospects, but I could definitely see him returning mid-first round value.

    idk why but hes giving me MPJ vibes

    • @FloorandCeiling
      @FloorandCeiling  29 днів тому +2

      MPJ is more of a pure scorer imo who does so at close to an elite level. I see Da Silva as closer to Simone Fontecchio or Cam Johnson.

    Unremarkable was a good description. I wonder if he has tried to beef up. That might change things.

    • @FloorandCeiling
      @FloorandCeiling  Місяць тому +2

      Getting stronger and just playing more physical would help Da Silva. Still, I was impressed when I rewatched his tape and found that his combination of length+mobility has usually been able to offset that. That was in college, though, and strength becomes even more important in the NBA.

    Good stuff. Interesting prospect.
    Who do you love in this draft? Any 2 way point forwards?

    • @FloorandCeiling
      @FloorandCeiling  Місяць тому +5

      Appreciate it!
      Tying your question into one answer, I wouldn't say there are any point forward types in this draft but there are interesting wing-sized ballhandling prospects.
      I'm thinking of Zaccharie Risacher (has untapped potential here imo), Ron Holland, Matas Buzelis, Stephon Castle, Cody Williams, or Kyshawn George.

    Maxi Kleiber at best. A short wingspan and limited vertical greatly limit his potential.

      @FloorandCeiling  Місяць тому +2

      I mentioned it in the video and I agree that he'd fit the Cavs' timeline.
      Other teams in that range who might be interested in Da Silva: Miami at 15, Philly at 16, Lakers at 17, Orlando at 18, Phoenix at 22, and Milwaukee at 23.

      @FloorandCeiling  Місяць тому +2

      @@franck1407 Yeah, I have a hard time seeing him slip past Orlando with their necessity for shooting, but who knows? They might always prefer someone younger like Kyshawn George or Johnny Furphy who profile kinda similarly if they're available.
