Miss J. Kyle Mann draft videos.
Me too! Wish he’d make some again. Still time before the draft though.
Same.
hope he has time in between the home n away videos
I'm a Wizards fan and I'm happy with the track we're going to right now. A full rebuild and building through draft. The new management wants a defense first team and you can see it in their picks with Coulibaly and Sarr.
As a Frenchman, projecting our 2028 Olympics team is really exciting: Wembanyama and Coulibaly will be 24, Risacher and Sarr will be 23, Nolan Traoré will be 22. That might be a bit young but they could be our starting five, all guys taken in the top 10 of the draft, including one player who may very well be competing to be the NBA MVP if he doesn't get hurt.
Then, you add Nadir Hifi (26 years old by then), Rayan Rupert (24), Théo Maledon (27), Elie Okobo (31), Guerschon Yabusele (33), Tidjane Salaün (23), maybe Frank Ntilikina (30) and Sylvain Francisco (31).
Fournier & Gobert might still be around, at 36 years of age.
Ajinca pacome dadiet
Yea that’s one thing I’ve noticed too. That his turnaround looks crazy smooth with nice touch. Drops super soft and gets shooters roll. Maybe he could develop a hyper efficient Lamarcus Aldridge fall-away type of shot that would be tough for defenders to bother at its release point
If he had a real post game forget LA, He's KG with Jonathan Isaac's perimeter defense.
@@johnpaulgonzalez9016KG had perimeter defense
@@King77742 but none of Isaac's flexibility/mobility
@kevinoconnornba would agree trading down would be in their best interest. I think the best route is the OKC route, trade this pick, trade either Young and/or Murray (get a haul like the holiday pelicans->bucks trade, PG13 thunder->clips trade), and get as many assets as possible to get in position to later draft guys like Dybansta, Boozer, Traore, Harper, Arenas etc. Now is the time to trade Young and/or Murray, teams are seeing how Minnesota benefited from trading for Gobert and how Dallas benefited from trading for Irving. If Atlanta is to draft, if they trade Young they can get Dillingham (who has the highest upside in the draft) and/or if they trade Murray they can get Carter (who has the highest floor in the draft) much later in the draft.
Love this approach
@@kevinoconnornba Thanks legend 🙌
I agree. By the way Alijah Arenas is a generational talent to go with AJ
@@TheFilmSpace1 The way Alijah attacks a defense is so similar to Gil. That combined with his scoring package and skills, really make him a great prospect.
I think Robert Dillingham's upside is Gilbert Arenas. I think Alijah's upside is a modern day George Gervin.
Yeah, Atlanta doesn’t have the best GM is basketball good luck brody
His midrange moves and jumpers remind a little bit of LaMarcus Aldridge.
Zach Collins catching strays lol
He would’ve dominated had he played college ball. His game is similar to Mobley and Chet but unlike them he played grown men at the same age. Hawks need him at #1 he would work perfectly next to Onyeka .
That would mean Jalen Johnson at SF so we would need 2/3rds out of the frontcourt to develop an outside shot to not clog the paint
His defense and rim protection reminds me of AD
Do you think Sarr and Okongwu can share the court? Or Jalen Johnson plays 3,making JJ Sarr OO front court lineup.
well they won't
@@zahir2942 I'm beyond fine with Zac now.
His defense is very close to how Tim Duncan played d. Hopefully he can develop this on a Tim Duncan level.
actually the opposite. Tim thrive on 1 on 1 post iso while Sarr thrive on space
I like him as a wizard and not a hawk
Probably among the draft picks this year, Sarr has the highest intangibles, although he has too many flaws for a potential number 1 pick.
Athletically he looks like a #1. When I watch his tape he's just so unconvincing of being that level of prospect. His spot up shot is soooooooo mechanically slow, he dips it down to below his hips where he's going to get attacked in the NBA.
Look at Jayson Tatum’s dip lmao the depth of the dip doesn’t matter dude. That’s a fraction of a second difference if he were to only dip higher.
Not at all, he's 7 footer.
CRAZY TRADE IDEA: Alperen Sengun for the #1 pick (Houston takes Sarr). Who says no?
come on KOC you know that hawk pun was intended
I think his best NBA archetype his much more a throwback big PF (Duncan, McDyess, Sheed, KG, Jermaine O'Neal, Pau Gasol, Chris Webber, etc) instead of a modern drop center. I'm not saying he couldn't play some 5, but he his highest ceiling is a player type that the NBA no longer utilizes. He's not the athlete that prime Rasheed and KG were coming into the draft but he could easily fit the Pau Gasol, Jermaine O'Neal mold.
many think he's going to atlanta..but the truth is Sarr is going to be a Wizard. mark my words
KOC is no J. Kyle Mann... 😩
Hawks need to draft this man and not be stubborn in an era of position-less basketball
48% at the rim as a center ain’t no way 😂😂😂😂
That is soft, but I think it's because some of it's off the dribble
Guards didn't set him up many easy baskets.
@@LD70701doesn’t matter, number one pick shouldn’t need great guards to shoot over 50% when he’s seven feet tall.
In the NBL defensive 3 isn't a rule, and can play proper zone
My Hawks may somehow mess this up lol
Ong bro can never have sht in Atlanta 😭
Why would you want ANOTHER big. Yall have 2 good ones
Hawks probably like Houston always picking the projected pick - maybe flip it after?
so basically Risacher or Sarr who will be the projected #1 lol
As a wizards fan I hope so
Do you think the Hawks take Sarr #1? After making the video I think a trade down would be in their best interest, and take Clingan for a safer choice plus take a swing with other picks.
Depends who they’re looking to keep. Trae or Dejounte, or neither? And can Onyeku create a reliable shot to pair with Sarr or Clingan?
Who would want the #1 pick? I can’t imagine they get much value trading down. I’d just take my guy at number 1.
Anytime you can take a role player comparable to Nic Claxton with the 1 pick in the NBA draft you have to do it!
in order to trade down, someone else would need to trade up, which nobody really wants to do.
@@ryanloane6588nick Claxton doesn’t have nearly the touch or IQ that Sarr does
Kevin O'Connor says Killian Hayes is No 1 pick.
Hawks will mess this up! They had better draft SARR! SARR is a STAR!!!!!
Reminds me of claxton!
Pun very much so intended
He falls to the Rockets at third.
Clingan, Sheppard surprise at 1&2.
He needs to be a 4 if my hawks draft him and put JJ at the 3
Sarr or Clingan for no 1 pick
If Atlanta doesn’t take this guy…..
I just don't see this guy as a #1 pick. I get it's a bad draft at the top, but damn...
Nic Claxton is a good comparison
Maybe a bigger Paskal Siakam?
Wemby & Sarr
I hope Atlanta trades this pick to San Antonio
This guy plays like a poor mans Mitchell Robinson
this dude aint saving the hawks lol
in any other draft he's the 15th-21st pick...
WHERE IS KYLE J MANN?!
Beefier center. The Wizards just signed Jonas Valinicuanas
You are over exaggerating his talents considerably, you said he has elite agility for a big simply because he hustled back on defense?? That's bizarre
I’m sorry, but he just reminds me of James Wiseman too much
No way you compared them too, Wiseman is big, slow, and has zero fluidity to him. He would never be able to switch at the rate that Sarr does
Casual, you never seen his games or even highlights Lmao
Seems to me like he’s gonna be more like Thon Maker than anything else
No KOC, just no
KOC also said Killian Hayes was the best player in his class that he’d taken #1 overall as someone who is 5’10 230 without ever playing even varsity HS basketball.
We all have our whiffs.
He's never living that one down😂
I clicked on this video with the hope of it being a J. Kyle Mann video. When I realized it was made by Kevin O'Connor I got sad.
Nerlens Noel that does too much...
wild miss by you non sports fans
@@IsmokeHiphopLive whats your comp?
@@Shepard-D_Rose I went back to watch highlights in a way you are correct as far as similar I was wrong. But he plays like other players as well such as Rudy with more of a speed impact. They are other players I could name too. I just thought you were way off until I remembered nerlens noel during his Kentucky days you are correct.
@IsmokeHiphopLive Much love, if Sarr works on his shot I think he can be special. I just have to see more of him.
Evan Mobley clone ..
The 2024 draft is potentially one of the worst drafts in history. When the best college player (Edey) is a second round pick tells you alot. Nic Claxton comparison is crazy. Who would take Claxton first overall? Bronny is a first round pick because you either get Lebron or you get future picks in return.
Edey will be a first round pick
Garza
You said this at 2020 class as well. Shut up
In what world is Nick Claxton making the pass at 5:52? Also, Claxton is a TERRIBLE shooter both from beyond the paint and from the free throw line. Hype Edey if you want but he’s not going to be successful beyond a few minutes a game. He’ll get hunted every possession and end up worse than Rudy Gobert in the playoffs
