This is an adventure map object tier list video for Heroes of might & magic 3: Horn of the Abyss.

The best thing for me personally about this tier lists is how entertaining and passionate he is. This man truly loves HoMM and it makes me exited every time. Great work!

As a casual play i have no idea how relevant that is but i would put gates atleast in bottom C tier list.
That's because you can place exactly 1 tier one unit in them, and if your oponent want to cross them you can see their exactly army

The idol of fortune gives either luck or morale depending on the day of the week - to quote the wiki "1 to morale on even days and +1 to luck on odd days. On day seven it gives +1 to both."

36:59 Idol of Fortune gives +1 luck on odd days, +1 morale on even days, and +1 both on day 7.
1:08:37 Stables also upgrade Cavaliers to Champions for free (credit to thebadman for noticing this one)
1:12:18 Temple gives you morale, not luck. +1, except on day 7, when it's +2
1:23:45 Watering Hole also gives you +1 morale.
AND, of course...
1:27:13 Wolf Raider Picket does *NOT* give you 150 Cyclops! :D

He said Watering Hole gives you 600 movement, but it's 400, same exact effect as Fountain of Youth.

1 thing about the Abandoned mine, I'm pretty sure its like 40% chance to roll a gold mine and 60% chance to get something else.

-the temple gives +1 or +2 morale
-fountain of youth gives +1 morale and +400 move

The lower the color on the color select, the higher the tier. Lower colors are considered better because they gain mana back faster because the higher up you are, the slower the day ends and the "slower" you get the mana back.
Idol is better than other luck objects, because on sundays it also gives morale. And temple gives morale, not luck, +2 on sundays.
And at the end, a tier list of tier lists
Next up you should do a tier list of buildings inside towns (stuff like Resource Silo, Castle Gate, Artifact Merchant, Stables, etc..).
And then after that you're probably done. Maybe a tier list of campaigns, maps, or templates could be interesting (based either on enjoyment, difficulty, or balance). But that sounds kinda weird so I'm not sure.

W8 a sec. Temple that went to "all the luck" actually gives +1 morale on days 1-6 and +2 morale on day 7 which is pretty decent. Definitely to "all the morale", not "all the luck"

I also think undergound carto is actually better, because it's fuckheaded maze down there, it helps to have a map.
You said in abandoned mines there are a lot of troglodites, at least a 100 of them... but that would be a throng of them, wouldn't it?
The Cover of Darkness CAN be useful when used against you - it can show the position of the hero (or town, if it is built in a town) by inferring the center of the "dark" cycle it creates! It can work like a homing device, against the one trying to hide behind it, if the other party has their geometry down! ;-)
Yeah, COD might be the most useless thing in the game. Not sure if it fools the AI or not, but it just straight up helps a human opponent.
No, cover of darkness is sweet af to have nearby your base.
Prevents enemies from seeing your logistics, armies etc.
I wish Lexav would play h3 in the proper way with a bunch of friends on normal maps. Random maps suck ass and are super boring to play.
I hate army from Pandora's box. I got 70 walking dead one time...
I'd like to see a faction based tier list. Instead of all tier 1 or 2 ... etc units compared to each other, I'd like to see how each unit in a faction rates to each other. So lets say I have a choice between evil eyes or medusas on day 1, which do I build? That type of thing. Which units of each faction make the best power stack. Which are the best support. A faction unit based tier list would be great. Thanks!
Great list and a lot of useful bonus info on some of them. :) only 2 mistakes I believe. Temple can give you morale and I think the dolphin fountain is called "fountain of fortune" not fountain of luck ;) Thank god Hota fixed scholars...now you can take them with your main hero without the fear of getting Eagle eye :D
Why no respect for the Cover of Darkness? I think it is pretty good because it makes the AI mess up a lot. It goes something like this. The AI sees your massive army and is reasonably staying away, you use CoD, AI is like oh wow I don't see that area, could be anything there, going to explore immediately, oh noes it was just his massive army and now all my army is dead. Works every time too, at least it lets you know AI isn't cheating with sight like in many other games ;)
You should make a tier list of your tier lists, so people know which tier list to watch first :)
Anyway loving those videos, its nice to get confirmation on my opinion or get them completely changed regarding various HOMM3 aspects
In my last two games I have gotten Dimension Door in the Pyramid. The maps I played was aiming so hard for only to get it rewarded late game after some huge fights and I find it 3 weeks into the game. I think it's an amazing building.
Something you could to a tier list on in the future might be the best heroes who specializes on creatures. Go go Big Daddy Tyraxor!

I agree with every placement on your list, except sanctuary, just because thematically I think it’s a nice touch. But in practice I agree it could probably be a fun-killer

Ranking Freelancers Guild below Marketplace just hurts my eyes. Freelancers guild is easily an S-tier location and provides an easy win if you find it on day 1. It basically works as a marketplace but with 2.5x lower prices. On the marketplace you get 1 crystal for 1666 gold. On the guild you get 1 crystal for 700 gold worth of creatures. Just buy some random ones from non-matching settlements and sell them there. Or use free ones. You can even buy a random hero from tavern and sell his troops for 3-4 gems.
In the modded version once you find an emerald tower, it's all over.
Coming up: Movement Directions TIER LIST! Because we all wanna go west, but sometimes things go south.

Well, idol actually doesn't give you luck exclusively. On odd days it gives you luck and on even days it gives morale. MOREOVER, on day 7 seven you get +1 both

the wood mill is superior to ore due to the amount of wooden needed compared to ore.

@@Lexiav Thanks, I always played alone with AI (except for a very few hot seat matches) since release, nowadays we have the lobby and I would like to try it with other people. Of course I am a noob compared to PvP players, I love taking my sweet time and explore the map enjoying the athmosphere of the game, I dislike "exploits" as the hero chains because they take me away from immersion... but playing a few competitive games won't hurt me. What's the way to find "noob matches" for people like me?

It’s certainly not worth buying a cannon from a cannon yard if your hero doesn’t have the Artillery skill.
Abandoned mine is S tier because it allows for a whole new game mode of having only random resources generating on the map

Star axis worst stat boosting object? really? It is so handy and good for side heroes and especially magic heroes to help you take critical objects early on like crypts/ruins/ranged guards etc... Easily most impactful stat booster along with arena early on when it matters. Also red towers over experimental shops?? Even the cove creature bank? that has to be trolling... Lastly windmill/watermill/mystical garden over Warehouses? They give over twice the amount...
And warehouses are not random, so Yo can play which You really need to/should take :)

First I want to say I really like your Lists and the reasoning behind them is generally pretty good but here I want to make a remark. Coliseum of the Magi is better then Arena. Why? Cause plus two of Attack and Defense wont turn Solmyr, maybe not even Gundula, in a reliable might oriented hero but plus two of Power and Knowledge will turn Crag or Tazar in reliable spellcasters...
Yeah, that's a good point, but too situational I guess
You don't need atleast 10 attack on Solmyr, but you need atleast 10 knowledge on Tazar, No knowledge = No control spells = lose
