So.... Are you a GOOD fast speaker or a BAD fast speaker? Also, leave a comment and tell me - out of everything that I talked about in the video, what is that one thing that you are going to apply right away to improve your clarity and speech in English?
:D Right away I'm gonna surely chill out like that stylish-classy lady, ensuring noone will bother me while repeting my phrases (the glass of wine detail could work too). (Great tips, Hadar, thank you so much! great video, got to work on my schwa sounds)
You are so right about the tongue! As I was watching one of your videos, I was trying to pronounce "harder". First two day, I was about to vomit every time I said the word because my tongue went too deep into my mouth. I couldn't do anything to it. It just didn't want to listen to me. It has been more than a week since I'm training my tongue. It's still not perfect but at list I don't have the feeling of vomiting anymore. You are so good with your advice. I appreciate you so much!
Hi, Hadar. I'm from Brazil and I really admire your work. I've just discovered an efficient way to improve the spoken English without the tradicional methods. You teach English in a competent way. Congratulations!
I couldn't agree more! Students tend to speak faster thinking that it makes them sound more fluent (or that it hides their mistakes) when really, it just makes them much more difficult to understand AND they make more mistakes 😣 Great video Hadar! Keep up the good work 💪💪💪
@Arimathi Ilamparuthi That's a very good question...I think a very important thing is to trust your instincts. I am not a native English speaker and I have had to learn vocab and grammar like everybody else. What helped me really feel the language was just listening and speaking to native speakers. You will see it on their faces if you say something that is not quite right. But the most important is to go with the flow (not stop when you make mistakes) and be confident (or at least look it). I KNOW that I make mistakes but I am so confident about what I say that it usually goes unnoticed. I don't think perfection should be the goal (think about it...we all make mistakes in our our native language...so really you can't expect to be perfect in a foreign language). I hope this helps :)
Loved it!!! I'm always practicing, my English should be really good because for my job I require it and nobody had explained to me pronunciation and fluency so clearly!
This is so perfect Hadar!! Thank you for this awesome lesson. I’ve been quite in the group but I’ve been watching the videos and practicing with you. Every time I watch your video it feels like my accent instantly improves :D love it! And I totally get your visual of English as a laid back lady haha it’s perfect
This video is incredible, because is important emphasize that the life is not a competition for speak faster, it's the opposite in the real life who win is the person that is totally understanding, so, improve your skills and able for make your communication more clearly and effective!
As a Spanish native speaker, we have that problem cause our language we put the same emphasis every single word, thanks to you, I realize about that thanks
You are the best English pronunciation teacher ever. You are beautiful, friendly, charming. Your voice was clear and pleasant to listen, it sounds like beautiful music to my ears. I can watch your videos for hours and watch them every day.
Hi Hadar! I recently found your channel and I've been watching your videos every day ever since. Your lessons are so practical, easy to follow, and effective! Every video I watch makes me feel like you completely understand my struggle as a non-native speaker. thank you for your awesome lessons!
Hi from Montpellier in France and my problem to speak fluent Engludh ! Your three points are absolutely usefull for me. I 'l stop trying to increase the speed when i speak. My tongue will thank you so much !!! If i can practice so. 😊
Thank you so much for generously sharing your experiences. This is so helpful for non-native speakers to understand how to determine which part of the sentences should be stressed and which part should be just cheered out. I really like your no-need-to-work woman analogy. I could picture it when you said that. You use your acting talents in your videos and make your teaching style so vivid and interesting. We are blessed to have your videos as our learning resources.
1.Identify important parts of a sentence.normally connecter /filler words /contraction are not important words. 2.Speed up in filler words and contractions & Invest less energy in that. 3.Enunciate important parts of an sentence.
I love you Hadar, this is a Masterclass. I'm trying to improve my listening and I think watching tv shows, series, and watching your videos all day long are gonna help me a lot. Thanks for your videos. xD

The way we usually speak English or any other language, that is, coherently and at a fairly high pace, is not determined by our desire, habit or convenience. The fact is that our speech, no matter how strange it may seem at first glance, is a subconscious process. Conversely, only subconscious speech can be automatic. It is the subconscious that needs continuity and a high rate of speech. Thought is a much more complex phenomenon than just a collection of words. The subconscious mind tries to express the thought in words, and the consciousness only monitors the correspondence of the thought and the meaning of the speech. Therefore, the skill of fluent speech can only be developed with the help of training, no conscious effort will help here.
its very interesting all you said ,i have to put it on practice !!maybe your lessons should be 24 hours a day jajjaj ,thank you im Adriana from Argentina ! kisses
i have a British accent so i genuinely needed to speed down for everyone to understand what on earth I was saying but now that I'm so used to speaking at a slow speed I'm having trouble speaking NORMALLY the way i used to ):
A friend of mine from Brazil was telling me that he was watching Friends and he heard one of them say "prolly" instead of probably. I've been living in the US for over two decades and had never noticed it. Ha, that until he said that. Now I hear it sometimes.

As a Brazilian Portuguese speaker, it is easy for me to notice our main struggles: because the "schwa" is quite hard for us to pronounce, when we speak English, "of" sounds as "off", "on" sounds as "own", "to" sounds as "two", "it" sounds as "eat", "and" sounds as "end". We are a mess, lol.
I m br too! But i Don't sound like that! Actually I see difference in these sounds u mentioned! Sorry pal! Dont get me wrong , cause i wrote this, i hope u got No hard feelings about me!

Hey Hadar, thanks for this marvelous service to us non-natives speakers of the language, but I'd like a tip to train my tongue these movements that I normally don't produce in my native tongue. When I try to speak faster, my mouth just messes up and the pronunciation it's the worst scenerio ever. Could you help me? Thank you!
