    Thank you for your information. I have two couple operations for machining both sides of a thin wall with solid profile 3D and z level profile. but in both once i want to cut and paste them into my merge path, i get an error indicating: Merge group can not accept operations. what operations can i use for the merge application, and why i can not paste these two operations to the merge path?

      Hi @sajjadahmadpoor8851, thank you for your question and for looking to use this functionality in your daily programming work.
      There are a couple of conditions that needs to be met in order to use Merge Path.
      1. The operations have to be multi-axis operations.
      2. The operations have to use the same cutter tool.

    How do you create such a tool assembly? 😍.
    And is it possible to use it for simple operations (planar mill)

      Hi , thank you for your question! NX uses the parametric tool representation to calculate toolpaths, however you can use the 3D tool assembly representation for validation and simulation as shown in this video. One of our partners has release a video explaining how to create the tool assemblies:
