I’m so glad another video like this has been released!!! As I recently started drinking oat milk, thanks to you guys, I was curious to discover more tasty and healthy drinks! I’d like to watch a video about healthy simple recipes next!!! 🤔💕 anyway thank you so much for this amazing video~
Aww thank you so much for sharing this! Oat milk is a gamechanger right? hehe. What are you favorite drinks to make? Hope you found something new to try in this vid, and if you try them out make sure to share it with us hehe - fel xx
@@felicialee3112 it really is!! Even though it’s not been long I find it easier to digest 😌I usually like eating oat flakes with it and make porridge or adding turmeric to it for now, but I’m trying to experiment more these days!! I’ll definitely share my new faves here🧡🧡🌞
Oat milk is actually bad. It contains fast sugars. It’s not healthy it is just a little better than cow milk. An actually healthy alternative to cow milk is almond or coconut milk.
Growing up, whenever I was sick, my mom would have me drink a mix of honey, vinegar and warm water. It's funny seeing it now as something for skincare. Also all vinegar is so much better drank warm. I'm not a kombucha fan but warm vinegar with a touch of honey is still my favorite.
I’m studying chemistry and formulation and what not, and I’m so glad those things u talk about that are good for us mean something to me. Like, they always meant something, but it’s different when u know so much more about it. I get so excited whenever I come back to ur channel because ur one of the reasons I’m studying what I’m studying ! I can’t wait to have my degree and finally work in this field ✨😭
Awww this is the swweeeetest! We love hearing your journey and are rooting for youu! It's so fascinating the more you learn about the body, and how different ingredients interact with it from a cellular and molecular level! Appreciate you! - fel xx
I make a miyabi bone broth soup almost every week in the fall/winter! It’s so warming and rich in flavor, it makes me feel like I’m being extra kind to myself in the depths of winter blues. I have to try all these recipes! There are few warm bevs, sweet or savory, that I won’t put ginger in… I just might have to find one of those mammoth sized ginger roots Fel mentioned. 👀
Loved this! I am watching less skincare videos & interested in more of these holistic videos so this os perfect! Would love medicinal food content if you are after ideas 😍 xx
Oooo yes defs can! it's honestly one of my passions to learn about the body and how our foods and drinks interact and affect the skin, because it personally had so much to do with my acne journey and clearing it up for good! will share more soon hehe, thanks for the comment! - fel x
no way! i was on a safari the other day and the guide stopped to pick some artemisia and told us it was good for headaches so i emmediatly bought a massive bag from the herb shop, so excited to hear theres so many more benefits!
Also, I can't even, Fel is just too cyute!! xD !!! It's refreshing to hear her cooking explanation after watching professional cooks/chefs. Her way of explaining the cooking process is very accessible and puts you at ease.
The version my mom makes for soup is very similar. It has beef or chicken, potato ( sometimes she won't use potato but will add rice instead), and carrots. There's times when we'll use green onion and ginger during winter.
The pork bone broth reminds me of tonkostu!! That's my fave ramen! Because of medical stuff I have avoid animal products a lot now, so I miss that a lot😔 I would love to get a video for savory drinks with some vegan options. I mainly do miso and konbu, but I would love to learn more recipes. The vinegars look SO good too 😍
Thank you for sharing all your knowledge! ! Love the way you connected each beverage to the past and explained the reasons for its benefits. ... I understand how bone broth is so very healthy.... I wish I could get over my squeamishness re consuming animals ... perhaps that will happen some day. Again, very grateful for this video! 🌹
Awww tysm for this comment, and you are so welcome! i love learning about the body and ingredients because foods and drinks really helped to change my skin for the better over the last 5 years! so glad you enjoyed it and grateful for you! - fel xx
Omg riiighttt, me too! now all i want after a long day is to have a homecooked meal, but can not hahah, sad. but at least we can reflect and learn and appreciate moving forward! - fel x
The bone broth soup is a traditional Chinese soup isn’t it? Also known as ABC soup? Pork, carrots, potatoes, onion, tomatoes all in 1 pot. My mom makes it all the time!
I am definitely a coffee person too! But once I realized I was probably having too much caffeine (to the point it was also inhibiting my period from coming) I reduced it to one cup per day, and the rest of the time i'll have teas or other beverages hehe. Let us know if you do give any of these a go and which one was your fave! tysm for watching and commenting! - fel xx
Yayyy tysm for watching! did you end up making the broth?? let us know how it went! I'm still finishing the last parts of it because it made so much, but the taste gets even better on the 2nd and 3rd day! - fel x
This is actually sent to us, but you can find a lot of really similar ones on amazon if you just type in 'glass teapot'! hope that helps hehe, and thanks for watching! - fel x
You know what, you're right! and I didn't even notice it until i was catching up with an Australian friend and I'm like... wait a second i sound a little off hahahah. are you also from aus?? - fel x
@@BeautyWithin no, I’m from Malaysia 🇲🇾! But I studied in the US a few years back, so I’m quite familiar with the 2 accents. Love you both! Hope you’re well Xx ♥️✨
Welcome to fam! heheh, yes i love lemon tea! you can make some black tea, add 1-3 slices of lemon and a bit of honey and it's the PERFECTTT hot or cold drink! thanks for the comment - fel xx
Yup!! it's great, and not acidic like you might think. it's more about the fermentation, which a poricess that many skincare products and brands use for their products to help with strengthening the skin barrier and support general skin health. like amorepacific and innisfree use fermented green tea in their toners etc. hope this helps! - fel x
It's so great right! been having it almost every night especially now that it's getting so chilly here in NY. Ooo let us know when you do make the bone broth, I made enough for the week while filming this video and just about to finish the last serve hahha. thanks for watching! - fel xx
You can eat the vegetables and meat too for a fuller meal or save them to eat later for another meal and drink the broth when you want. It's really up to you. I always eat the meat and vegetables because they're also good for your body with lots of nutrients and taste great too.
Ahh yes!! very true, thanks for the reminder and leaving a comment! Allergic reactions are a the worst, but sometimes the only way to find out is through testing >< - fel xx
Oh reallly! that's so interesting! i'm sure there are also many similar versions of this across cultures seeing as it's really simple ingredients and broths have been around for so long all over the world, and another reason why i love that food has the ability to bring everyone together in different ways like this! - fel x
@@BeautyWithin Yes, exactly. Last thing I expected to see on this channel was my granny's, apparently, very international dish! And here I thought this would stop at rice & seaweed and ofcourse the infamous flying slipper.
I love this series!! Thank you for the tutorial on how to make your own Genmaicha!! I'm definitely going to try it out!! Can't wait to see more on teas and herbals!
so true, there are some times where i feel like teas won't affect me that much, and them i'm still blinking at 4am hahahh. you live and you learn lollz, which is why decaffeinated teas are great like ginger tea! - fel x
Genmaicha is repulsive. Moogicha is tops for the non-green Japanese teas -- and it's the perfect sun/cold-brewed tea, i.e., no boiling needed; just pop it in the fridge for a few hours!
7:00 matcha iri genmaicha (抹茶入り玄米茶) literally means matcha with genmaicha😊
there was a few years ago in japan where “drinkable vinegar” was a trend for all the health benefits and my family definitely drank tons of it 😆
Wonder how many stomach ulcers that caused
I made the ginger and cinnamon tea and added a bit of lemon and it tasted even better. And its perfect for winter. Thank you for this video💗
