It is not our eyes that see the world, it is our mind that sees. And it is our thoughts that determine the world we do see. Sad that he could not see the world through his mother's eye as she saw it. Well done.

Really good video, makes you think about how you shouldn't take things for granted and how sometimes things are not what they seem. Life is a funny thing and it shows how Karma exists. Imagine how the person felt.

this was very witty. I almost believed it. unless your heart is made of stone, you wouldn't dare to kick you mom out of your house after all these years. especially, when you are a parent your self. good work, this was creative.

wow, ouch! i bet he felt awful after when he discovered the sacrifice his mother made for him, he will never be able to take back the years of hurt he caused her with his rejection..i dont if i could live with that kind of guilt.
on the plus side, that woman was absolutely amazing..i will hold my hands up and admit that a few tears were shed

So sad, I cried and cried, how could he say those things and treat his mom that way? Even if she was born that way, he should've felt sorry for her, you should love your mother no matter what she looks like, and you should ignore anything that another person says about her, because she's your mother

Hatred will get us only a short distance. This person clearly learned their mistake.

Mother is the name of love. mother is the name of sacrifice. And a mother can do anything to make their children happy. As we see here she sacrifies her one eye to make her son's life cheerfull. But alas she got an unworthy son. Who does not respect her at all.

Yes, I want to know the book title as well. Assuming this is a true story (I doubt it), the guy who is ashamed of his mother and still am as an adult until his mom passes away, should die of slow painful death. As a kid, if you are embarrased because of bullies that laugh at you and you hated her for it, that's immature self-centered thinking. But as an adult, that guy deserves to burn in hell. WTF, letting your kid laugh at your mom and tell her to get lost after she travels all the way...

hopefully there are a couple flaws that make this untrue... If not this is a real bummer! First if a person is working as a school cook; who could they afford a transplant operation?? Second If someone was old enough to recieve an adult size eye how could they not be old enough to remember it?? Third no scars from the said accident??? Hopefully thats enough reason to think its untrue. It has a good moral to the story... I just would hate to think someone could be treated like this!!

Trying too hard. Spelling errors, unfortunate font colors, too lengthy, Singapore really?, and transplants require you to take anti-rejection drugs for life, even if you got it from an identical twin. So hard to believe that the son didn't know what drug he was taking.

This made me cry. How could anyone ever talk to their mother like that?
Poor lady. The real moral of the story is don't be a narcissistic inhumane egotistical prick (nothing to do with selfishness).
