Those of you who knows me know that i've been wanting and trying to do this video for a while, and i won't lie, it's been tough as hell to make it. But i tried and gave everything i got to give you the BEST Eren Jaeger tribute i could make, because i truly love this character and what Isayama has created.
It's been a tough few days for me and if i managed to finish this video, it's for the sole reason that one thing about Eren always got stuck with me: the way he keeps moving forward no matter what and i truly i will be able to do that too.

My favorite Anime character.. I don't think Eren was ever evil, he just did what had to be done since he was left with no options and the memories he received showed him his fate is something he can't run away from, till the end he has to keep moving on.
Watching people die for him broke him from losing his mother, his comrades, Hanne, discovering his friends were traitors responsible for the breach. Just another level of trauma on its own.
I'm disappointed in fans who judge Eren by saying he's evil.
Why don't we judge Reiner, Bert and Annie for what they did... Right they were forced to carry out their mission because of some false mentality the higher ups gave them.
They did what they thought was right..
Erwin sacrificed his self and scouts just for Levi to kill Zeke because he believed that was the right call..
Eren did what he had to do, he was left with zero options. I don't think even Armin, jean, Hange or Levi had an ideas that would have turned out peaceful.. Eren was selfish, yes. He prioritized his friends and home over the rest of the world. Saving Mikasa and Armin was always the goal.
A villain will always put his love over the greater good. The best a hero can give is number two because their duty comes first.
Eren has always had an option. He "time traveled" to ensure the outcome he wanted came to fruition. I love Eren and don't think of him as an evil person at all, but he has always had a choice. " The only thing we're allowed to do is believe we won't regret the choice we made" -manga reader
I dont think you understand eren or evil. But thats alright.
To me, the most life changing moment Eren have gone through is when he discovered Annie was the enemy that was pretending. Back then, he wasn't aware of how someone could took other people's life to get what they wanted. He didn't get it that there was a bigger plot for someone to massacred dozens of lives. Until he learned that outside the wall, across the sea, there's literal more advanced continent where so many humans lived in luxury and all. After that, i think he isn't the same. Taking advantage of Zeke who thinks of Eren as his real lil brother, he then proceeded to work silently with Floch that was having a biggest deal to revenge after the beast titan masacre. And then, we got the Eren now that we see.
Nicely said. Humans talk about the "devil". But I think there is a devil in all of us. And that is not bad - it is human. Only not all of us have to set him free or know when they should let him take over to fuel their goals. And applying that on the world makes you see things or at least consider the possibility of things not being how they seem to be. (e.g. Eren is a little Putin maybe, no disrespect).
@@theschwiftyone718 Hard to say really. He definitely had a choice when Zeke brought him to the memories but it wouldn't make sense if he didn't do what he saw in his future because he would probably just cease to exist.
I wish he managed to do 100% Rumbling. That would've been something.
Years have passed eren remains my favorite anime character he truly was once in a generation type of character

It was our fault that we considered Eren a good person even though author showed us time to time... His real nature.
His ambitions to DESTROY his Enemy,not to DEFEAT it.
He was free,He was violent,He was not bound by Moral rules or society.
We felt good & cheered when he killed Titans bcoz we've Morality. He became villain for us in last season ...bcoz he killed humans. But for Eren they were his Enemies every damn time.. may it be Humans or Titans, he acted accordingly his nature. He wasn't wrong. We were wrong.
Even the kids and people he cried over since he knew they were innocent but he was about to Rumble all the innocent people outside the world anyways?

No, Eldians shouldn't be blamed, problem is... it's a biological race of titan turning humans, so yeah, there's that. I don't think it's fair since they were born that way, but it's also not fair to others born without those titan powers either.
Dude, time and time again it shows Eldians, when given the time to plan shit out, can absolutely body enemy nations with shifters and Ackermans with little problem. Old Eldian Empire did this, and modem day Paradis also has done this.
Paradis wanted to live in peace yes, so did Marley, and they didn't get it.... for 2,000 years. And no, the Oppressive regime of Eldia did NOT just happen 2,000 years ago, it CONTINUED to happen for 2,000 years, and only stopped a century ago. That's a HUGE misconception by so many people it's astonishing to me.
What happened to Faye is unforgivable, this much is certain, but best believe Eldians will always have the advantage over the other races, and if Paradis wanted peace, yes it would get peace, but the only nation that would willingly open it's borders to them is Hizuru, which is the only confirmed Ally of the Old Eldian Empire to date.
Like, think about it, Eren said it himself, without Eldians, the threat of Titans would be gone, literally everyone knows this. Even if Marley never sent the Warriors, what makes you think the world would accept the last remnant of the Old Eldian Empire? They'd be confined to the island till they decided to go wage war on the outside world, because Eren has been pushing for Freedom since day one.
Had Willy made world peace and declared Paradis untouchable, but blockaded, would that have been better in your mind? Eldians don't have this bad reputation for no reason, lmao, even throughout the story we've had Eldians believe they were indeed superior to other races, the "chosen people of God, the children of Ymir". Those aren't my words, those are the words of Grisha, who has a shared sentiment with other Eldians.
Yes Marley started the recent conflict, no doubt about it, but you can't make time seem like Eldian fear isn't understandable. King Fritz said that even in the afterlife, Eldians will rule this world with its titans, and as we see, nothings changed.
The world is about to be annihilated in an apocalyptic manner all because a small population of Eldians didn't get their way... not fair to hate Eldians, but not fair to Non-Eldians either.
It took 3 people to make and destroy the walls and activate the walls, all Subjects of Ymir. Karl Fritz made them, Zeke's Royal blood and Eren's Founding Titan brought them down, and the World is getting flattened now. All it took were 3 Eldians, 2 of which had the Founding titan, and Royal blood was in the mix.
I don't know ANY 3 Marleyans who could pull a feat like this off. You could get a lot out of 3 Eldians. You could get a shifter, an Ackerman, a person of Royal blood influence, etc. With 3 Marleyans, or Hizurians, or Middle Eastern people.... you can't get any of those.

Not saying Eren doesn't have a right to defend his own people, not at all, I'm just saying the situation isn't do black and white like many fans make it seem.
And no, it wasn't just Marley Eldia fought against, they were just the first to fall. Marley was one of the major parts of the Rebellion that happened at the end of the Great Titan War, so as to push and potentially wipe out the Eldians after their global domination. Hizuru is the only known true major ally that the Old Eldian Empire ever had... that says a lot.
Had Willy decided to make a blockade for Paradis instead, so no one went to the island or left, would that have been better? I doubt it, Eren wouldn't accept a peace unless it meant Eldians could do whatever they wanted, so at that point, the world would still have to run the risk of potentially having to be at the mercy of the Eldians should they attempt to push for higher positions of power.
Eldians hold all of the cards here, of course the world wouldn't be too comfortable with that...

While I love the whole edit 6:05 - the end was just perfection, the clips, the tension and uncertainty of the music even though we know what’s coming. By far my favourite ending to any AOT video on UA-cam. Bravo my friend.

@@JesseJr19 the two that really stood out as missing for me was grishas revalation about the attack titans true ability -- i think in the late 7 minute or early 8 minute mark, overlaying his words wouldve fit really well
