Listen to him play that guitar. He doesn't get half of the recognition he deserves. Truly a master of the art.
hes my favorite of all time
Qqqqqqqqq
Great
That's to bad he's good
I no nothing about great guitarists other than a few names like Hendrix, Van Halen, Knopfler and Stevie RV, but it sure seems like George has that thing, whatever it is.
He should definitely be in Rock n Roll Hall of Fame by now. Why isn’t he?
The best blues & boogie-rocker!
BbbbbBadd is an understatement for this guy. RR Hall of Famer for sure !
It just proves that the "hall of fame nonsense" is nonsense.
Because the song and music isn't his. It belongs to Muddy Waters.
One of the most underrated guitarists of all time...
SO TRUE.
Those folks in the Audience didn't realise what they were witnessing there. Legendary playing deserved more.
What's cracking me up though are the words that are being put down at the bottom got to be a joke right LOL George Thorogood is still bad ass still to❤ this day
❤
when you have such like bones in the block you got some problems at the end with flying screws

The groove of this tune is just insanely good.
Totally dude, it really rocks
😂right on, this might be best of 80s
George Thorogood and Stevie Ray Vaughan helped make the 80's the best music era ever.
The BEST SAX, the best guitar...the vocal is the BEST...IT IS ALL!!!
So i guess he is.....bad to the bones?
@ Kevin COSNER: You need to listen to the original saxophone player, the late great Hank Carter play in those days before he quit in 2003. That guy was much better by far. He did backing vocals and backup guitars in the studio. Hank had a lot of talent. He is greatly missed.
Great songs never get old.
Truth
I ran across an article about George Thorogood and the Destroyers, and the content provider said that some parts of this song have been featured in 27 different movies, and also on the Married With Children (Al Bundy) TV series from the 1980s and 1990s. So... enjoy. Its my favorite rock n roll song. Some years ago I ran across a CD, "Best of George Thorogood" and I made a couple copies of it, which I often listen to while driving up and down the road.
Damn!! That's was Awesome!! George and Band. Rock n Roll!! I'm 67 and still Rock en!!

I had this cassette 30 years ago. Great music.
Excellent voice live...such a legendary bassline...killer Rock and Roll!!
This is a live video with studio audio, mate!
Live audio also through the mixing board.
Destroyers did a pub tour thru Oz at a bout the same time (as in aboout the same year) ,,,, saw them in Fremantle WA Oz,,,, sounded just like this,,, they killed it ,,, lucky as an Oz to see these guys.
It's a combination of Blues and rock and roll along with rhythm and blues
His rifts are killer, as is his voice. He may be considered rock and roll but he is the Blues incarnate. Haven't heard him in so long watch the reaction video and I had to hear him again
I watched an interview with him you think he'd always be a people person but he only likes to perform for people otherwise she said he's kind of a loner who could blame him especially when you are❤❤ that ba ba ba bad
I'm here for The Good Place
Me too!

Lyrics - Youre welcome
On the day I was born
The nurses all gathered 'round
And they gazed in wide wonder
At the joy they had found
The head nurse spoke up
And she said leave this one alone
She could tell right away
That I was bad to the bone
Bad to the bone
Bad to the bone
B-B-B-B-Bad
B-B-B-B-Bad
B-B-B-B-Bad
Bad to the bone
I broke a thousand hearts
Before I met you
I'll break a thousand more, baby
Before I am through
I wanna be yours pretty baby
Yours and yours alone
I'm here to tell ya honey
That I'm bad to the bone
Bad to the bone
B-B-B-Bad
B-B-B-Bad
B-B-B-Bad
Bad to the bone
I make a rich woman beg
I'll make a good woman steal
I'll make an old woman blush
And make a young girl squeal
I wanna be yours pretty baby
Yours and yours alone
I'm here to tell ya honey
That I'm bad to…
Thanks my friend
Hey its a birthday pearls are made in me 🐚 shells
That's not what he said
Love this timeless classic!
Classic, indeed! I can remember watching the video on MTV when it first came out. I was maybe 12. A great, life-changing song.
Never gets old, never gets stale. Yeah George, keep walkin' those streets and make those queens step aside.
One of the class songs played and sung by a class performer... Top notch band too.
an artist who undertands the traditions of the blues

Awesome song by an awesome band.. Here in UK I only got to hear of George Thorogood due to watching T2 when it was released. Now got his albums and it doesn't seem possible I used to manage without them.. My last relationship we used to have a bourbon, scotch and beer and dance and STUFF to this.
We be very bad men, but God still loves us.

One of the last living rock gods
Growing up in Wilm, Delaware I can remember being at George's house. My brother's best friend Dan married George's sister...
His face was rarely seen at those visits, but he was heard! Always upstairs in his room... PRACTING...and in his case practice really DID mean "perfect"!!! Couple of yrs later I heard him on the radio :)
LOVE THIS FAVORITE!
I think he owned my favorite liquor store on Philadelphia Pike at Silverside Road in Wilmington!!
Great story...reminds me of an old joke...guy gets in a cab and says to the cabbie, “do you know how to get to Carnegie Hall?” The Cabbie replies, “yes, PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE”....
Keith McCormick what a belta!! I’m creased 😂😂😂😂✌️🇬🇧
Great memory for you
Covid 19 brought me here. Just hailed 1” here and my friend asked if it was part of an omen, and have I been bad. No one could ever be better or more bad than George!
I m sixty one and that song still thrills me George
saw you sing it once
what an anthem
Played this at my fathers funeral. Together with Led Zeppelins "Whole lotta love"
The roof went off at the cremation centre.
He would have appreciated that and was rockin on with the rest of you, but then you knew that...
My mum also liked this so just thinking about her - she was unique!
Phoned my son yesterday he was at home he said who's speaking I said 'ITS DAD ON THE PHONE'...... ;)

Combination by Carpenter of the sepia-colored old Plymouth plant with this song is simply one of the best introducing clips in the cinema history
Brilliant.
If you just fast forward through that mandatory very 80's sax solo.. you have pure gold.
Another gold standard record that is superb . George thorogood is the man . So cool bad ass
love it ...simple but it rocks...straight and forward
Thats rock n roll
Yeah
Absolutely an amazing version especially the audio
loving great music brought me HERE
I love George Thurgood singing anything. But I especially like Bad to the Bone.
Finally saw him live in Aberdeen WA 3 years ago, great show, been listening to George since he came onto the scene many years ago, still one of my favorite blues rockers

Starboss Gamer BAD TO THE BONE
Brazil
His voice is incredible here..... wtf?!?!?
I'll back 😎🤘
Again and again to listening this great song.
And it all started way back with a memorable Madison Blues - perfection in its pure simplicity. George's got that vital urgent but controlled pulse - life's uncompromising beat. Saw him live in Paris in the 80s and never forgot the tutorship.
I really liked what you wrote. Very agreeable. Cheers.
@@itdoesntmatter9361 Very gracious of you to post a favourable comment with respect to this forgotten item - therefore we must conclude that things musical do in fact matter, even to 'it does not matter' ... Blues on !
@@liptonjohn9387 that's cool John. Been listening since 89. Never looked back. Never been to Paris though. He is a true legend. Awesome music brings awesome people together to talk about awesome music. Stay cool. 😀
Loved this song for many years. I wonder how much money George has made out of licensing this out for movies and tv shows? Fair play to him I say.
All time favorite George, love the way you drive that guitar
