I watched this show like 10 times during the 3 months I was working at disney and I still love it so much. My favorite show forever ❤❤
Now, all we need is an exit music which they edited an original 3-minute main theme to extend to 5 1/2 minutes.

I'll admit when I heard they changed it I was mad but when I saw it, Mulan and Frozen 2 and Moana were excellent choices! I'll make a man out of you, Show Yourself, and How Far I'll Go are the best out of those movies. The only thing about new Fantasmic is the new Mickey voice, I wish they kept the original. The new voice you can tell is not him
Bret Iwan has been doing the Mickey voice for over 10 years now, he sounds just fine in this show. I know he doesn't sound exactly like Wayne Allwine, but the unfortunate truth is that he is no longer with us.

The first song about imagination with that piano music is definitely the theme song of Orange County, CA. Hearing this reminds me of how nice and beautiful Orange County is. Can't wait to visit soon.

I enjoyed the Fantasmic show itself last week. I've heard the preshow music has been updated as well and is a hit as well. I look forward to someone capturing it as well. I missed it because I was stuck on Tower of Terror ride.
I hope they release an official studio recording with the new section sometime soon.

seriously cannot get over the whole villain part, flows so well together (i can picture their faces morphing while i listen to it) the changes in music styles between all the villains, the sudden intensity when it’s Chernabog’s turn i’ll forever be in love with this show ❤
I stay one week in disney and 3 times in a row I saw the fantasmic show because of the vilain’s part, the music the light the image, all is so powerful in this part I love it so much !
Honestly, I like the new changes. They flow seamlessly with the original content

Update: I saw it in-person a few months ago, and I loved it! The new scenes I feel like actually made the show better than before. I'm a fan!

I went to go see this April 2023 and something happened within 30 seconds of the show starting. All the music and lights stopped and we had to wait like 20 minutes for it to start back up. It was really worth the wait though!

I’m going back just to see this again cause I barely remember any of it because I was having an a panic attack to the whole show and I can’t tell you why I was.

When I got to see this, I was having an anxiety attack, but it was really cool show. freaking me and my sister out for a second was that Mickey came out at one point and he was in the classic costume. I know the yellow shoes and the red shorts and it just freaked me out. and it put us off for a second like Mickey always wearing the full suit. What happened? I feel like they started the performance with him in that outfit. I would’ve been cool, but just came out with it in the middle of the performance.

It sounds like a rendition of “Dance of the Hours” by Ponchielli. The song was featured in Fantasia, in the scene with the dancing hippos and crocodiles.

I’ll admit, this feels a little disjointed with the new parts. But, to be fair, I’ve been listening to the original WDW version for 20 years now. I think with time, these updated will fold in nicely.
