- Let's test your memory and general knowledge! If your brain is still sharp you should breeze through this quiz, so it would be very interesting to see what score you manage to get. The questions in this quiz will challenge how much you can remember about science, culture, geography and history. It can become more difficult to recall things as your brain ages, so its important to exercise your mind with quiz games and activities. You are given 3 multiple choice options which will either remind you what the correct answer is, or it will teach you a random fact or two.
I hope you enjoy round 78 of the Ultimate Trivia Quiz. I research all the questions myself to ensure a new and challenging experience for each round.
Remember, this is just a fun quiz game for you to test yourself and maybe learn something new and interesting. It is not a true reflection of your intelligence level or cognitive ability.

Diwali is the festival of light
Correct!
what's the one where they throw powdered flowers....Holi!!!!!!
Diwali
Diesli
DIWALI
41 at the age of 92 and I'm reasonably satisfied
Great job, son!
I was a reciprocal of you I answered 92 at age 41😂
Excellent!
You should have more knowledge than most!
@@vanzandt8809 ......and more years to forget. 😀
40/50 Einstein has nothing but worry about.I’m 70 years old and proud of myself 😀👏👏👏
I got the same. 66 yrs old. We should be glad for ourselves. Todays college students seem to have forgotten 90% of their knowledge.
@@jokabjo1694 I'm 75 years old. I got a 39 and a mild headache 😄😅
Well I answered all 50 questions and I think I even got 3 right.
😁
🤣
Too funny!!!
I got 35 correct answers and I'm 66 yrs.old ,from the Philippines.
Challenging one today! Dropped slightly from last week, but Learning is fun! So Thank-you for another Great quiz, Sean! I hope you're having a wonderful week!😊🌼🌻🐝
Hawking Class: 37/50 without the Bonus Question. Actually , just a little bit better than last time. 8/10, 5/10, 9/10, 7/10, 8/10. Great tests to make sure I'm not senile at 70 yet! Thank you!
I agree - 72 and in the Hawking class...
Anyone who puts fish on a Caesar needs immediate help!
it's used in making the dressing, you've probably eaten it and not even known it was there.
The anchovy paste in the dressing is part of what makes it a Caesar Salad.
That what I thought?@@DolOnTheDial
Bits of anchovy are the best reason to eat a salad.
Now Being In the elderly category, I find myself just checking to see if I’m losing it yet. I’m usually in the Hawking class…. Today as well. Thanks for the reassurance.
Ditto!
Me too - Senior and in Hawking
45/50. I am no good on cartoons that weren’t shown in UK, or sport! Bonus Diwali, celebrated wonderfully in Leicester. 🇬🇧👍
Yes the cartoons screwed my score
The answer to the bonus question is Diwali --- a beautiful word for lovely Autumn celebrations. My final score: 44/50. Thanks for the great quiz, Sean! 🎉😊
I answered all of of them.. All 50. 😁 Got a few wrong and plenty right..🤗
Great comment 😂
Me too
As Clint Eastwood said "A man needs to know his limitations" and your quizzes expose mine !! I'm in the 50% range usually.
I love your quizzes.
One of the best lines ever.
Oh boy, I scored a Certificate Of Attendance!
Impressive tbf
I love your comment. Ha ha😂
Could not remember Diwali had to look it up! Thank you for another fun and challenging quiz Sean! I got somewhere between eight and 10 wrong however, I enjoy these quizzes
13;03 she is not Cleopatra. She's Nefertiti.
Now that you mention it. You are absolutely correct.
LOL I saw that too.
Hi Shaun. The character (4th) round was very hard…but I was absolutely amazed and also really proud at one question/ character. The answer was Andy Capp, which was a regular cartoon strip in the Hartlepool Mail, a local North East England newspaper published here in the UK! I believe it was also in a national UK newspaper. The author / writer and artist of the cartoon was Reg Smythe, who lived in Hartlepool! There is a statue of Andy Capp proudly displayed on the (Hartlepool) Headland. As you can no doubt ascertain, I am from and live in Hartlepool! Thank you for reminding us Hartlepudlians of another reason to be proud of our town!
I'm a little Einstein.
Andy Capp the comic strip has travelled a lot more widely than its title character presumably ever did. It was (and maybe still is?) syndicated in Canada; I remember it when I was growing up. A web search says it was in the USA and Philippines too, so presumably widely distributed.
Andy Capp was also in Australian newspapers when I was growing up.
In its day, Andy Capp was featured in the comics section of almost every newspaper of the USA.
Also known as willi wacker in Germany. Gotta love the chase.b
Thanks again Sean. Can't believe how my memory of comic characters deserted me under pressure. Oh well, back to reality!
Alot of them were from the newspapers and I haven't had one for probably 20 years so I had to rely on what I remembered from when I was a youngster.
I got 28...I fell flat on my face after Olive Oyl, not one more of those list did I know except Andy Capp but I couldn't remember his name. It's been more than sixty years. The mystery question? If I knew the answer I wouldn't be able to spell it. Looking forward to more. Thanks.
Same here both on 28 and the characters also could not remember in time.
Me too 28
I got 29 out of 50. Maybe because I got Dick Tracy correct.
Me too. 28. That was fun. Subscribed ☑
Thank you I like your quizzes, somedays I do well and others not so. Always a good challenge 🤔
Many thanks for the quiz Sean. 46/50. Also the question for the bonus seems to have featured in a lot of quizzes recently, so actually knew the answer to this one :)
You are very very good. 34 for me and didn’t have a clue about the bonus question’s answer
Thank you@@luciel4502, I just have this habit of retaining lots of useless information, that is only of benefit when doing a quiz :)
43/50.
I'll take the Fleming Award Of Intelligence! First time doing these quizzes, and got the bonus question right - Diwali 😄 Thanks for a great quiz.
35-41 maybe one of my favorite quizzes these past few weeks. Great job Sean and the bonus question I don’t know. Q: what is the bonus question worth? If I’m a Fleming award does it get me up to hawking award? 😂
Managed 28 so hopefully in the words of one of the Who's' best songs I Won't get fooled again. Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition.
I only got 1 more right than you did. This was a tough one.
I missed 4, cold. I had to scrape my memory to come up with Woodstock, but was successful. Did not at all know Italy's first female leader...egad! I knew the strip characters well, except for Olaf. But I suspect my age is entirely to blame for this familiarity!
Anyway, I am just chatting. A really good general knowledge workout. Nothing that I consider outright junk! So an excellent quiz. Thank you.
(I did scratch around to recall Diwali ... which I knew, but could not recall. Ouch) 👍
I enjoyed that Shaun thank you I’ve liked and subscribed and shall try some of the others when time permits.
I got 47. Einstein!! Yay!
44.... correct. Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights.
40 approx correct and was easy to recall
I am consistently Hawking. I rarely miss science/math/history, but fail at social/mindless trivia. 😮
Same here ,stuck on hawking. I got to Einstein a couple times but answered a lot of the questions with a question mark 😊
Same boat here too
Diwali
You think that makes you sound so intelligent but it only shows you’re not well rounded.
@@savahbejin7511 and pretentious
I like the format, although I prefer not having choices, I liked the cartoon questions best as you had to really answer. I got 43 right, but probably 6-7 were just successful guesses.
Good day, Shaun. For this Detormentis Ultimate Trivia Quiz #78, I scored 47/50. I missed #25, 31, and 47. Stuck as a habitual Einstein. Of course, I could be in worse company!😆
For the bonus, the Hindu festival of lights is Diwali.🕯
Thanks for another in this long line of excellent quizzes.😉
An excellent score. I thought the cartoon picture round would be tricky for most, especially with characters like Beetle Bailey.
Correct on the bonus! Thank you for watching.
Diwali
Charlie
@@detormentisThe cartoon pictures were the easiest for me, and I know that's not saying much 😅
Finally, trivia that makes me think.
This one kick my behind. 29 of 50 correct
Diwali. Hawking……I am 83 so quite satisfied I am not yet senile! 😊😊
The Fleming Award of Intelligence 34 on 50 . Must say it’s hard when English isn’t your mother tongue. Some words were ignored by me. 🎉. Not too bad anyway and fun to learn
Diwali.
I got 45, many of them guesses. Multiple choice questions can be answered more easily because your brain is reminded of the name etc that you have to otherwise retrieve from your memory, or the other two options are clearly wrong.
Knowledge does indicate intelligence. Intelligent people don't always possess a good memory but they can figure things out.
24. Oppenheimer!
66 and answered 47. I guess I'm not bad.
Had 28 correct at question 31 Missed all comic characters but 1 Finished at 29. 28-34 Had fun...🗽
34 I am ashamed to say I didn't get Madame Curi. I wasn't thinking.Lost in the cartoons. Don't think that should have been a catagory.
Hi Sean. Hawking today ( most of the time) 39/50. Diwali is the holiday. I love these quizzes. Keeps me on my 83 year old toes.
Dialing....I'm happy to participate in the game.....I did not know I know so much...
BRILLIANT as usual, am 78 and am forgetting facts but answered 45. I love your quizzes thankyou x
Narcissism isn't really admiration of your own beauty though, is it? Although Narcissus did admire his own beauty.
Oppenheimer. 24/50 I'm out of my league with you smart people
First timer. Duval, fireworks and red powder. 38/50. 10/10 for Sceince, 9/10 for Historical Firsts. Pop music, Beatles fail. 7/10 ea Triva, no pop culture or music. Only 5/10 Pictures, zip on any after 1970s. Great Quiz.
I took this quiz a month ago and got 29 out 50. I took it again, one month later and got 35 out of 50.
Sorry I was late today, Sean. The answer to the bonus question is Diwali. As for my score, I scored quite poorly in the characters questions, but did not badly in the rest. I do love your channel and the quizzes you share with the likes of me. So, thank you, Sean! 🙏💕👍
Question no 44 answer Carbine
I got 34 correct at 34 year's of age so I am happy with that result
I actually got 35 correct, amazed myself
I always fail these questions, and still take them every time. This tells me how much I do not know!!!!!!
Hindu Festival of Light is Divali/Diwali.
And I got 45 correct. It was easy. of the 5 I did not get, 3 I had never heard of.
37 right, Hawking level, and Bonus is Holi
The cartoon characters were a bit too difficult for me. Got a few correct, but my total score was only 39/50. Still, a fun quiz, as usual. Have no idea regarding the bonus question.
38/50 no Idea on the bonus. Thank you, Sean, for including the bonus at the end. Great quiz once more. 👍😘
🎉
I’m 64. Got 44 correct, plus knew the bonus question! I surprised myself 😅. Thanks for the brain tuneup!
45 correct and yet if i am looking for something I sometimes can't remember why I have come into the room.
I enjoyed this quizz very much!
Thanks, Great quizz as always.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!
I wish Mr Hawking was still with us. 37/50
32. Not as smart as I thought I was!! Fun though....
Great job Mr Sean.
The festival is called "itsdalights"
26 correct ! 61 years old and I am from Brasil, so I Had some dificult to understand some quest…😊
I failed miserably on the cartoon characters. So I'm just a Hawking award. But it is fun, that is what counts for me and I learn at the same time.
Question no 10 answer Geiger
Cleverness I got 21 correct answer
Question no 7 answer Jupiter
40/50. I bombed out on a number of the cartoon characters butb scored on a couple of guesses in other categories.
36 - Hawking Award. Got 3 wrong because I clicked the mouse at the wrong time.
25 out of 50. bonus hindu festival of lights.
Fun !
42, missed out on the cartoon characters... Great quiz, thanks!
Diwali is also known as festival of lights💥 and i got 46 out of 50. Love from india ❤🇮🇳
Question no 6 answer hervest moon
49 and Diwali🕯😀.
Excellent variety of questions 👌
The Indian festival is Deepavali... festival of lights.
Aww. 22 right 😢 but no quick memory of any cartoon characters.!, 😂
Dawli festial of lights
23 correct
VOTING RIGHTS are without a doubt important. RIGHT BEHIND voting INTEGRITY!
Fleming Award. This was good. I missed about 5 more as I second gussed myself. Always go with the first answer.
39 correct, not bad, I like the short interval between questions.
Thanks so much ❤❤❤
The Beatles’ first album to be released in the US was “Meet The Beatles”. Not “Please Please Me”.
Diwali, and I have got 17 right so far but would not describe myself as having a superb brain, pretty average really.
42. Animated questions got me!
I scored 40, took me down a peg or two. I am 76.
I answered 34 correctly.
Thank you for the quiz.
Question no 19 answer Tenzing Norkay
I am under 'Fleming'....poor idea on fictional characters...but I enjoyed answering...fun and knowledgeable...thank you❤
Question no 27 answer Ronald Reagon
I got 28 right but fell down badly on cartoon characters. Duwali is the festival of lights. We are very aware of it because those celebrating it have no consideration for other residents or animal. Dogs love it because they get to sleep in my bed.
48/50....thanks to an easy picture trivia for a change!! Bonus is Diwali. Thank you Sean. Your quizzes make my day!!
OMG I am dense😂😂😂😂😂
42 plus the bonus question ….whacko and I’m 77 👍😂❤️
41 And the trivia bonus is Diwali
I like you quiz man. I can't describe why, but this somehow reminds me of The Weakest Link. Maybe it's the music idk
Interesting process. Im analytical and i found the type of questions to be non-theoretical or applicable to experience.
I would do mych better with questions in which i would have to reason, rather than something i would have to had experienced / applied OR to have memorized.
Thank you!
