This is nice article. One correction, that we don't need to give RecordType access when we want to give read access to any User, RecordType access is needed for the user you have create access, because you will not get option to select that RecordType. This applicable for all the object not only for knowledge. Keep it up, good job.
Hello, how I can show the topic button in the navigation menu? I wam to add TOPIC and when you click it shows all the articles assigned to that topic. Thanks
I followed the same steps but the article detail page is not created for me and because of that I am unable to view the article details after clicking on the article link. can you suggest me something?
Thanks for the video! How do you configure different Topic Pages and Subtopic Pages? For example, in my Help Center, I have Feature Walkthroughs and FAQ as topic with subtopics, and Feature Walkthroughs has Portfolio Pages and Landing Pages as Subtopics. Topic Detail Page looks the same for every one of these Topics, but I would like to config Top Article by Topic and Topic Catalog components to show different menus on each page. How can I create different pages for all these topics and assign accordingly? Let me know if that doesn't make sense. Thank you!
Hi! That is certainly possible if you are talking about dynamic pages based on the profile or some user attribute. If your topics are assigned to articles then you can also control the page Ithink but wont be able to comment without actually doing it. havent worked on this in a while.
Hi Pratima, I have knowledge for classic and I'm trying to do the same but I can't see the articles as a guest user, I only see them as a salesforce user :(
Hi! Have you looked at this article? probably a visibility issue in Guest profile. help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=000316021&type=1&language=en_US&mode=1
Hey Pratima my question is, how can we make chatter post enable for guest user because there is no read or write access over FeedItem for guest user, so do you have any solution?
Hi! I never had to do anything like that but seems like there is almost no option for that as per the thread in this idea. success.salesforce.com/ideaView?id=08730000000keDRAAY
@@jaheedsaleem8719 I am pretty sure you can. I haven't done it personally but i would think it would be tied to a type of Knowledge articles called FAQ
I believe so yes because I was on Salesforce’s help article and I was able to click on thumbs up. Assuming they use the same mechanism, and I wasn’t logged in.
There is not a lot of great Community Resource Videos out there so thank you for providing this Tutorial!
Glad it helped :)

Also the hero background image is not showing for some users. Any idea how to fix this
Depending on where you have them stored, may be the image is not public?
Very nice. You may want to go a step further and talk about how to set up audience targeting and drop-downs on the navigation tab! Thank you.
Hi,
How the Admin will get to know when some user download the Knowledge Article?
Hey Pratima, I am not able to see custom field on Knowledge Object on Community for guest user?
Do the Guest user has access to the fields on profile level?

How to mask community URL with an alias URL(the domain)?
I am not sure if that is possible. Do you have my domain enabled?
