Hey Salesforce Friends! Hopefully this is of use to you - let me know if there is anything specific you want to see on Experience Cloud that you think could help others (or yourself). Enjoy! Adam x
Can the portal be set up so customers check the status of their support contract expiration, request a quote, look at order status?
Love this style of video - you are easy to listen to and learn from. Not robotic like some other Salesforce content!
Thank you so much, you saved my final project 😭🙏
Awesome video! I was following the trails but is much easier to watch someone going through the steps! Thank you.
It's very useful video.please make another video on experience aap, ❤
Just subscribed and happy to be here
Thanks so much Adam! It was great, clear and easy to follow along!!!
fount it useful, I am working on a real project and I found it quite important for my Web to lead, Web to case solutions
Thanks for the video Adam! I appreciate all your knowledge!
So welcome! Thanks for the comment :)
Simple and helpful videos, thank you for making this up :)
You're very welcome!
Hello Adam, that is great video. Thanks. It was exactly what I was looking for. So now I have to learn about Screen Flow to add to the Community - any user must have the capability to fill up the form, Tks !
Glad it was helpful! Sounds like you're on a journey to some great development and functionality! Let me know if I can help further or suggestions for other videos. Adam :)
Hi Adam, thank you so much for this great tutorial, I have a question, how can I add a button that redirects the user to an external URL? Unfortunately there's no "button" component in the components list!
Great videos! Thanks Adam! not sure how others feel about the background music though, I find it a little distracting as it can't be turned off or down.. I'd rather just have my brain completely tuned in with the info you're presenting.
Hi Shakra, thanks for the feedback and good point on the music. I may look to just have for intro and outtro and remove from the main bit. I was worried people would be bored quickly from my voice so thought a bit of background music might help 😆 thanks again!
Hi Adam, love your videos. Can you do one about Partner Portal Community. Thanks
THANKS GODDAMIT ❤
You're welcome!!
Who's on an Adam Foyston binge watch?
haha - I've heard I'm great if one has trouble sleeping. ;)
Thanks for the kind comments. :)
Excellent video. In production does it mean one would need both the Sales Cloud Service Cloud licenses?
Great question. To be honest I never know where Salesforce are with license requirements and costs, but what I understand is that you don't need both licenses as you can just (I think) get Service Cloud licenses. However, I've not come across a business with only Service Cloud yet so not 100% on that. You can still create a customer site with the Sales Cloud but there will be some features that you'd need Service Cloud for, such as Knowledge Articles and other self-service features. It all depends on your use case and what the customer site is meant to do (you hope it will do). Here is a good article on the license differences, but again, the site question depends on what you're trying to achieve for your customers. www.salesforceben.com/sales-cloud-vs-service-cloud/
What is the difference between Data Categories and Topics? How are each used by Salesforce and/or Experience Cloud?
What is the difference between the checkbox "Knowledge User" in the User Profile section and the Knowledge LSF Permission Set? If you check the checkbox "Knowledge User", won't that give you CRUD? Do you need both or is one enough to have CRUD? Thanks, Dave
Hi, I need help, I have to show in one on my page the list of products associated to the client logged, I don't know how to do it because the owner of the product is not the client, somebody know how to solve this problem?
Hi Adam. I'm wondering if you have other Community videos. Wondering how to make the buttons happen, or those tiles populated. If that makes sense...
Hmmm I think I might do some more community videos from your suggestion/request. I have a think about what might work and let you know once done if it's of use. Thanks again :)

Hi Adam, how do you set the actual site you just created to public? I followed the steps you did, however, the site is requesting users to login via the salesforce page? Any suggestions?
Hi there! Thanks for the comment. The site in this video is setup to require a login, but follow this link to see how you can not only set to Public, but also set to remove the need to login. Hope it helps! :) help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.community_builder_page_access_settings.htm&type=5
Hi, do you have a tutorial about how to send emails from this page ? i don not find the solution, thanks in advance
Could you please do more tutorials about moderating the post and comments in Experience Cloud? Thank you!
Hi there, thanks for the comment. That's a new one for me and something I'd need to look into for best practise. Thanks for the suggestion.
I'd love to follow on Trailhead - any chance you can post the name of the Module you're going through?
Excellent idea! I should have included it in the description - I’ll do that now. For ease, here is the link to the module (don’t forget to scroll to the bottom and ‘launch playground’ to follow me and get your points). Thanks again! Adam :)
