i realize it's kind of off topic but do anybody know of a good website to stream newly released movies online?
Comment your favourite move! For us, it's got to be SuperGT's send around-the-outside!
Also, who is going to be our 300'000th subscriber?!
As soon as I saw the first RX clip, I knew Erikssons turn 1 move at Buxtehude RX would also be there. Definitely my favorite one!
Yeah, incredible move! Almost goes in backwards!
@@Driver61 You forgot to pin this comment and I'd say my favourite was the Nascar over take I'm from UK so I've never really seen anything like that. Or one of the rally-cross overtakes.
Driver61 gotta be McLaughlin’s massive locked up dive bomb. That was when he was a rookie.

Scott's excitement for this stuff is infectious. The analysis explaining why these are such amazing moves is just the icing on the cake.
Could you show us the difference between driving technics inside a family.
As an example:
Why was Michael faster than Ralf?
How differntly did Kekke and Nico drive?
etc.
It would be great if it would be possible to do.
and Mick

5:42 Kyle Busch achieved what the back half of the F1 grid was attempting at Mugello re-start.
Lol 😂 especially Giovinazzi
He did a sbinalla, and he didn't make it around in time, i watched it live, he dropped way back to like 13th, it was an extraordinary move, it just doesn't work for nascar
@@zenon459 it would of worked had he gotten some help once he was up front, but obviously everyone saw it and said screw him.
In F1 the drivers have to keep a following distance of at most 10 car lengths during safety car situations. When I see such a ridiculous restart I can understand what the rule is set up for.
@@dutchdrifter8740 I'd guess it is less needed when there are over 40 cars on the track instead of just 20. But the rule does say you cannot pass anyone until you are in the restart zone. This would require perfect timing and would only work if you were in last place.
The Guy at 4:18 really reacted faster than light huh ?
Lightning reactions! Then held it on the grass, fair play!
That's Dino Zamparelli
You can see the lines in the water from the tyres of a car infront crossing from spinning, so he might have picked up on that a couple of seconds before, but still had to react lightning fast when the car appeared infront of him, and even saved it on the wet grass. Amazing.
If there was anyone on that grass.. Truly death defying stuff.
@@ThePentosin Also the camera probably didn't see exactly what he did, it's possible he saw everything a second or two sooner.
Bit of background on the Kyle Busch last to first pass. He had to take an extra pit stop with one lap before the restart we saw. Be cause Daytona is so large and there are no rules on how fast you can or can't go to catch up to the field he never had to tap the breaks.
Hello, nascar fan here, the grills on those cars are pretty susceptible to grass, and he spun and got into the grass, so they had to fix it, its a pain for the drivers
The F3 bump-draft at the end is just genius
Yeah. The drivers name is Thomas Randle. He uplaoded it on his yt channel

As for this video in particular, I liked the car cross one the most. Everybody else focused on defending the inside, while the guy on the outside went "I'm surely not gonna gain anything from respecting the queue". :D
The 2nd last overtake was at the former Indy track up on the Gold Coast in Australia. Scotty McLaughlin was the driver in the ‘Volvo’ the blue and yellow car.
I know I maybe biased here but what about the Mark Webber overtaking Alonso at Spa?
Hahahaha when he says "hangs it in there" and "got the job done" for Super GT 😂😂😂
Super GT getting some respects along with Sutton, Ticktum & McLaughlin - boy oh boy, has he come a long way
5:45 When you play a race in a video game with a much faster car.
The science behind racing still amazes me. Congrats, great explanation.
Terrific video, keep these coming, great to learn about overtaking technique in depth and get exposure to lesser known racing series
Great video! I love your narration and explanation from an experienced driver's point of view.
Can we analyse Jordon Cox's overtake on the Holden?
Wow your production quality is really going up. Good stuff man!
Really like this style of video
Your videos are really great man. You're reacting and telling what exactly happens all the time so you can actually learn a lot out of that which is great. You can learn, on Sim or real-life, a lot in every video of yours.
Amazing video, learnt so much about the art off overtakes, already an experienced racer but everyday outs a school day, just check your inside outside commentary at about 7:45 ish, wrong way round, ace videos while channel 100%
8:37 title should be "a subaru running in its natural habitat"
Always impressed with Scott's knowledge of racing.
I've used that pass from the back of the field during a start thing. I was running Spec Miata and was gridded dead last. The field slowed dramatically right before the turn onto the main straight. I down shifted but stalled the car when I inadvertently hit the cutoff switch. Before I could get it started, the field advanced quite a ways down the straight. I had to haul ass to catch up and caught them just as the green flag was thrown. I was almost at the front before anyone knew what happened! LOL!!
Tbf Sutton had done that to Plato the corner before, if you watch the full 2 lap battle. Best race of 2019 by far.
Brilliant flicks of driver skill, thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Thanks Scott
SuperGT viewer here, and NASCAR fan. Nice to see NASCAR getting some respect, especially at Daytona, my local track. (Live near Melbourne FL, so a couple of hours drive from the track.)
Funny thing is that all three of the cars featured, the 18 of Kyle Busch, the 11 of Denny Hamlin, and the 20 of Matt Kensith. (Who is now retired.) Are all teammates. (For those who don't know NASCAR doesnt have rules forbidding different liveries among teammates)
The blue car in the 2nd-last clip is NZer Scott McLaughlin, making his Indycar debut in 21-23 October after winning his 3rd straight V8 Supercars championship.
Obviously that move was perfected in iRacing first lol
Please do more of these. I really like it.❤️
Another great video, thanks a lot!!!
It you’re doing another video, I have some awesome V8 Supercars passes to recommend
2013 Bathurst 1000 - Eckstrom on multiple cars (separate occasions) at the chase
1994 Bathurst 1000 - Craig Lowndes on John Bowe
2014 Adelaide 500 race 2 last lap - McLaughlin and Whincup
Hearty recommendations - I second all of them.
we need more videos like this!! that was a good time.
That Eriksson overtake is probably the best full send overtake i've ever seen (13:20)
100 % ... If someone showed me the video, paused, at 13:20, I would have bet big money that an accident is imminent.
And thats against ekkstrom and Kirstofferson! Risky!
12:05 very good info! It explains a lot of great moves under rain conditions. 👍
I didn't even expect to see the V8s once, much less twice! Awesome video, some of these passes are fantastic.
Thanks for describing what is happening during these overtakes. I sure appreciate it.
Hope to see more reaction videos like this. Super informative!
The explanations are awesome
Absolutely amazing. Tires having limited contact and sharing it to break and turn - totally makes sense, but never thought about it this way. Just enforcers this concept in case of breaking vs turning. I kind of have this reflex to release brakes before turning, but not thought about stopping turn for the sake of breaking. Thanks.
SO GLAD YOU DID THE Hamlin Daytona 500 Win!! I did a WHOLE VIDEO on that pass! It was so incredible on so many levels.
Fantastic commentary as always!
“Round the outside, round the outside!!!”
Love stuff like this.
You should make more of this!
Yes encourage him, I really enjoy these as well
Holy God!!! Only Aawesome maneuvers.
Thank you for putting the marks on the video so its easier to jump around 🤘❤️
Bummed you missed the matt campbell pass coming down the hill at bathurst. Absolutely incredible move
Got the Whincup bump the wall and pass Percat at Townsville and the Scotty Mac slide down under Frosty at the GC so there is some v8 Supercars and Aussie showing
Reaction Videos are often a mixed bag. From absolutely no effort on one end of the scale, to videos like this, that ACTUALLY add something worthwhile to the original video. I like how you go really into it and explain what happens. Instead of minor faces and inane commentary that plagues a lot of videos like this. Thats why i was hesitant to click on these, but i have not been dissapointed. Good Job on the video!
Love your work! Ever considered doing a video on Scott Dixon like your ones on Alonzo or Schumacher?
That last one x) awesome push!
Best overtake I've seen this year was Harry King at Paddock Hill 👌🏼🏁🏆
The lad is a legend
I was at that Daytona 500 where Hamlin (11) passed Kenseth (20) on the last lap. Crazy finish with the 11 and 78 at the line.
Woah ! Had to rewind and watch the guy in red @Spa a few times .👍
I really love that supercar Volvo's overtaking, epic!
Wow, this was an amazing episode to be honest.
I learned the hard way the ‘racing lines under rain’ tricks, during (quite very amateurish) lapping days, I could see cars with half the power of mine passing by as if they weren’t on the same wet asphalt conditions as me... it turns out, they literally weren’t!
i was hoping to see the FF drift overtake from the 2014 K3 Koup KSF race analyzed, but all the chosen clips were amazing
Nice video man!!!
That was so interesting!!!!
When you have proper 'eye contact' with the camera like in this video instead of reading from slightly off camera as you have in some others, it feels way more comfortable. I'll watch your videos whichever direction you're looking cause they're always quality but thought this one was particularly good!
Great vid. I believe Kyle Busch had actually taken the “wave around” to make up a lost lap and was actually rejoining the back of the field after the green flag came out
It was the sprint unlimited in 2012, he was spun and saved it, but got his splitter into the grass and got a bunch in the grill, i watched it live but i was too young to remember all of it, pretty sure he was just catching up after he pitted, and didn't lose the lap, excellent drive by him though in that race, he went from being spun, to passing the whole field, to spinning again, to winning. That race was crazy. I wish more motorsport fans would give nascar a shot, the way it is now it often isn't exciting, but the older races with better aerodynamics were better, and alot of passes are extremely tight and can result in an inexperienced driver knocking down the walls
@@zenon459 The reason I won't watch NASCAR (anymore) is the ridiculous playoff rules. I was never much of a fan of the chase even, and the current thing is just ridiculous. The champion should be the driver who is best over the entire season, not just the final race in some arbitrary set up.
I'm sure one off races can often be very entertaining still, but the fact that you could hypothetically win every race but one and still lose the championship is just too ridiculous for me to invest too much of my time into it.
@@JT29501 When the Chase/Playoffs points system first got implemented, I was young and never really thought about the negative possibilities that could occur with the system. Then in 2007, I watched Gordon's 300+ point lead turn into a 25 point deficit in the blink of an eye, I've been against the Chase/Playoffs ever since.
@@JT29501 It died in 01.
Rallycross, touring car, and old f1 are some of the best racing
Love the content. A bit of advice for the next video may be to show the clip again after speaking on it so we can see what you just explained
You should do an f1 commentary after every race
He would become Palmer of the poor
to me that second RX drift by Kevin Eriksson is the best overtake ever. not only goes he around 4 cars on the outside, but those are actually the worlds best drivers/ rallycross champions that he is overtaking there simultaniously.
Good video dude.😃👍
Really enjoyed this segment. Seeing the passes on the small screen it was hard to see detail. Would love to see more of this but with full screen showing the passes?
I literally sat exactly where the camera was at the RX, best move ive seen at any racing event ive been to
Nice job explaining things.
Just gonna leave my name here so super gt can reply when he comes :)
Hello viewer...
@@Driver61 you are LEGENDARY 😂😂
Last clips draft bump is called “ the shake and bake” coined by legendary nascar team “ Ricky Bobby” #26 and “ Cal naugthon jr” #33.🤠
14:29 the blue and yellow car you mentioned, is commonly known as a Volvo S60 here in Europe, USA and Australia
Rallycross is my favorite racing I wish there was more here in the US
For another example of single seater dump drafting, search for "da Costa bump drafting Vainio - GP3 Monza '12". They do it for practically all of the main straight at Monza.
Love these clips and your commentary! The Plato move on Sutton came near the end of the 2019 season IIRC. Plato was desperate to beat Sutton, whatever it took. No love lost between those two drivers. (Sutton won the 2020 championship with a stunning season.)
I’ve legit never seen a man with this much Love and Knowledge on motorsports like you, even tho I’ll probably never drive a racing car (who knows, I’m only 15), it’s still very, VERY! Interesting

the interesting point in the hamlin pass on kenseth (11 car on the 20) was that they were teammates and still they were fighting aggressivly like that
SuperGT with a shout out! Niiiiice.
woah you showed some Rallycross🤩
Kevin Estre's pass on the grass at last year's N24 be race was epic
Im learning more from these vids than I do in online class.
On the Daytona 500 clip with Denny Hamlin in the 11 car, wish you would have followed it to the finish line. It ends up being a photo finish between the 11 and 19 cars, with the 11 getting the win due to masterful use of side drafting to put extra air and thus drag on the spoiler of the 19 to slow him down.
The Kyle Busch move was really impressive because on an oval, all of the discarded rubber is up near the wall.
Well he cheated anyway so.....
Michael Ric what he did was legal at the time, they closed the loophole after this incident I believe
Not always. For instance at IRP (Lucar Oil Raceway Park) the primary racing line is the outside wall on the corner.
With the super gt clip when hes in the position defending in his gt vids you can see him doing that technique u mentioned forcing them to the outside
You need to watch the first few laps of the Indy car race #1 at Indy this year. Multiple crazy passes and pass attempts.
"a full armful of opposite luck" I think thats my new favorite car driving quote.
you should look at marcos di palma vs fabian acuña it was a really good overtake at the mouras circuit in La Plata, Argentina, it was 10 years ago, but man, what a race
You should check Sabine's (RIP) ring race where she started from last position all the way to first
This is a great channel, always enjoy your vids!
The greatest pass I've still seen up to this day is Rossi on stoner around turn 3 or 4 (the first tight turn) at Laguna seca 08 taking it to the edge of the curb. A beautiful pass and one of the best races of all time.
What a great video idea
I love the guy who got overtaken in the 2nd clip, he was looking back at SuperGT comin up on him like “SHIT SHIT SHIT”
I like the new back ground
Wasn't Jason Plato quite infamous for his not always very sportsmanshippy driving...? If memory serves.
